Blurb: It's mistaken identity gone erotically awry during a Halloween costume party.Josh Panetti breaks into an apartment Halloween night, thinking he’s fulfilling the sexual fantasy of a woman he just met at a costume party. Instead, he’s broken into Cassie Snow’s place. Cassie immediately realizes his mistake—she’d seen him at the party with her sexy upstairs neighbor. She should tell him he has the wrong apartment and the wrong girl. But she’s always the wrong girl. Would it be so terrible to be the right girl for just one night?

Review: SWEET!!!! If this is just a taste of what Ms Simone can write all I can say is I WANT MORE!!!! A totally bithcin' story that left me with warm fuzzies and moist panties :) I know ....TMI, right? Just after the story switched back into Josh's POV, I so loved him. What a wonderful man and a true testiment to what all men should be like when they think they.....nope I can't give it away ;)

In the end they both get what they want and need leaving me fully satisfied and trembling in anticipation for more. *SNAPS* my dear, wonderful job!!!

Blurb: When Kassia Lambert wakes in a warm bed, alive and intact, she can’t believe her good fortune. She should be dead, considering she was sent head first into brick and mortar. So why isn’t she? Lycae Adam Trevlian has waited three long years to claim his mate, a human that battles for the Thymeria vampires. After he saves her life, he brings her with him, intent on doing just that. But betrayal and heartbreak is hard to overcome, and even with the kiss of the moon on his side, Adam knows Kassia may or may not forgive his past actions.

Review: What an interesting short erotic tale. Ms Saare did a wonderful job with world building for such a small work. I felt fulfilled and in the loop throught the story which can sometimes be hard to acomplish. Complete with steamy sex, good characters and a plot that was told well, I am glad I got to read this one.

I really fell hard for Adam when I discovered his motivation for Kassia and what he gave up for her. A wonderful story that I would recomend to others as a tasty bite. Not too much to ruin your diet but just enought to take the edge off the craving :)

Blurb: Librarian Jayne Shepard has always lived vicariously through her beloved books, especially Regency-era literature. So when her friends offer the chance to stay in Villa Diodati, where Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and John Polidori’s The Vampyre were inspired, Jayne seizes the chance.

She expects to absorb the haunting atmosphere of the historic manor located on the shore of Lake Geneva. What she doesn’t expect is an encounter with an enchanting stranger who calls himself Lord Byron—who awakens Jayne to a sensual and sexual ecstasy she’s never before known

Review: Wonderful and as surreal as absinthe intoxication. Emotional, seductive and perfectly erotic. I relished each whispered word, slipped into the drugging euphoria of a story so smooth the characters and their encounters weaved into my psyche made me want, brought me to the peak of pleasure, then made me ache with their parting. These time-crossed lovers stay with you long after the last word is savored.

Blurb: Miranda has always had a thing for leather and a burning desire for her favorite professor and ideal man, Stefan Hewson. The sumptuous temptations of leather strike hard when she finds herself on a dreary job assignment at her old college, locked in a coat closet with a man’s luscious leather coat. Her fantasies run even hotter when the sexy owner shows up and catches her fondling his leather. It turns out Professor Hewson has been carrying a torch for her and he’s more than willing to show her who’s in charge of the class. Miranda’s not the only one who’s love-struck and harboring scorching-hot bondage and leather fantasies. The handsome professor is ready to add a few creative footnotes of his own…

Review: I loved this story. The BDSM aspects are perfect for those who aren’t sure of the genre and want just a taste. It’s a slow seduction and more of a mental restraint than a physical one. The writing creates wonderful images and the story has a nice flow. Miranda’s submission is beautiful to watch and Stefan is the tender in his dominance. Ms. Leon has really done a wonderful job with few words.

However, there was a bit on inconsistency in Miranda’s character. For an intelligent woman, driven and passionate, she hasn’t done much with her life for the last 5 years. I also wondered why Miranda didn’t know whose closet she was in when Stefan makes the comment that while she was a student he’d wanted to drag her into the closet a thousand times. That aside, this tasty nibble is still an easy Quickie to recommend.

Malik, King of Ulan, has until his birthday to find his bride or he must forfeit his throne. When a spell reveals her location, he will do anything, even cross dimensions, to claim her as his own.
As if fending off a lusty king isn’t enough of a headache, Adrienne finds herself a pawn in a rival monarch’s plot to bring Malik’s world to its knees. But is the real danger being stuck in the middle of a power struggle between rival kingdoms? Or the damage Malik could do to her heart?

Review: Have you ever read a book that started out really good and then you hit a spot where you thought to yourself "Boy, she sure did take that well." That is how I felt about this story in the beginning. Here is a normal "Earth" girl whisked away to another dimension and told she will be marrying the king.Pissed at first, she suddenly has a change of heart and marries him. I overlooked that little "never would really happen" and continued. Then when I got to the end there was the HUGE "Ah Ha!" moment where it all made sense!!!!!!!

I still find it a bit hard to believe her parents just accepted the fact that their daughter traveled to another dimension, but hey, fiction is fiction. Aside from that it was a very good, well written, pleasurable read that I enjoyed to the end

*SNAPS* for this one Ms Bagby. Liked it bunches :)

Levi's one regret is losing Bella. He never had the chance to tell her the child wasn't his. He married to save his brother's sorry hide and give the child a name. He longs to have Bella in his life again--will it take divine intervention to get her back?

Review: A very cute story with a heart warming second chance at love theme. One of the things I love about this nifty little short is the measures Levi went to to protect his brother and dad. Giving up his own love for the greater good of his family really touched me. The kids were adorable, the love true and standing up to the test of time and heartbreak in the light of what really happened when the truth is finally revealed.

Ms Mitchell has done a great job and I look forward to reading more from this author.

Blurb: Kiran is a tiger shifter without a past. Plucked from a hospital by Rohan and Ambar Patel, he has no recollection of arriving in Auckland. Nothing is familiar, but he’s sure of one thing. Rohan Patel is an attractive man. He fires Kiran with longing. A stolen kiss and Kiran knows exactly what he wants.

Rohan’s desire for the stranger steals his breath and pushes forward his plans to tell his sister he prefers males. Hurried embraces lead to an understanding, their growing relationship exhilarating. The urgent hunger between them is palpable, guaranteed to make any tiger purr with pleasure.

But weird flashes of memory hint at Kiran’s terrible past. The truth might blow apart his blossoming romance with Rohan and hurt his new Middlemarch friends. A dilemma—push Rohan away or hold him close and place his lover in danger. It’s a difficult choice, then it’s too late. Danger stalks through Middlemarch, and they must fight for their love and their lives.

Review: Catnap is a fun jaunt from Auckland, New Zealand to Middlemarch. The story begins with an exciting rescue of an injured tiger shifter. Kiran takes one look at Rohan and he wants to fuck. It isn’t make love or flowery emotion, it’s raw, primitive animal attraction and it’s palpable. And the story ends with danger, violence, and revealed secrets that tug on the emotions of all the characters involved. And in this book the large cast of characters add to the color and flavor of the world Ms. Munro has created. However, the problem with this book is a boring middle. I found myself reading simply to get to the next entertaining part but not really enjoying the journey. When the sex eventually happens between our two male shifter heroes, it’s hot and triggers all the expected responses. But by the end, I felt the love connection to be too sweet, overstated and emasculated the maleness of Rohan and Kiran.

That said, I think this world and these cats are worth exploring. With this being the eighth book in the series, I will be on the prowl for more.

Blurb: Peering at the world from behind her camera lens, "Plain Jane" Parker is stunned to see a handsome hunk wearing a kilt as he confidently strolls down a busy Seattle street. Her dormant libido roars to life even before their eyes meet. Aroused and intrigued, she tosses aside her usual caution and follows when Logan MacLaren beckons for a delightfully sinful one-night stand. Logan is an exceptionally talented lover, wielding the abundant sword he sports beneath his plaid to deliver unparalleled pleasures. He reminds her to trust her instincts after reality proves they're a more perfect fit than either imagined. Then Logan drops his bombshell: He's traveled through time to find her and wants her to stay with him forever...in medieval Scotland. Did Jane just have the most erotic sex of her life with a delusional crazy man, or is it truly possible for her one-night stand to last forever?

Review: This was a cute story. Studly men in kilts....YUMMY! Though I felt Jane fell for the Highland stud a little fast, ready to stay with him after little convincing on his part, it didn't really detract from the story, or the erotic element.

I Thought the use of a door, in a building in Seattle as a time travel portal was a nifty twist. The loving was hot and the characters were strong and the story delivered.

This is the first work I have ever read from this author, but plan to read more from her as I hope you do.

Blurb: What’s a good old country boy vampire supposed to do when a smartass city-slicker female barrels into his life and totally disrupts it? What’s wrong with hunting deer—with a rifle—for their blood, having a bushy beard, drinking beer out of Mason jars and sleeping in the bathtub? And what’s wrong with his name? He was named after his grandfather. Rusty Nipple is a fine name.

Amber arrives at her late aunt’s quiet farm planning to write her vampire romance, only to find a man in her bathtub—a dead man. Only he’s not dead. Well, sort of not dead. What more could a romance writer ask for but her very own vampire hero? He’ll be able to tell Amber things about vampires no other author could ever find out. Her book will skyrocket to the top of the bestseller lists!

But how is she supposed to write about a suave, sexy, debonair vampire if Rusty won’t cooperate?

Review: The blurb to this story had my expectations high. Perhaps that was my mistake. Stories from Ellora’s Cave are one of my secret pleasures. Rednecks 'n' Roses fails to deliver is many way. That isn’t to say there weren’t moments when I laughed out loud (the moments were few and far between).

The idea behind the story had great potential. However, the first chapter shows the absolute worst in human nature -- greed from the death of family member. It was difficult to like the heroine after that. But when she became the stereotypical dumb blonde and used television programming (Buffy) as her basis for vampire research, I no longer cared to see her with the hero. In fact, she doesn’t deserve him. Rusty delivers what little substance there is to the story. He’s charming, funny and in the end, shows he’s hero delicious. Alas, not even the fleeting moments of fun or Rusty can redeem this story.

The cover on the other hand, is tantalizingly hot.

With Ally's life in danger, it's time for her right-hand nerd to expose the real man undercover, and prove himself to the vulnerable body he's been hired to guard.

Review: OMG! The more I read the harder I laugh, I just can't stop! A town name Porcupine, Alaska and a hotel called the Loose Moose Lodge. Are you laughing yet? What if I toss in the fact that Betsy, the hotel owner, has been married 7 times, her bedroom looks like a Victorian whorehouse, her buns bobble and curtsy each other beneath her black stretch pants and she is having wild monkey sex with the local bar owner! When you couple that with the hilarious mouse scene and the super studly bodyguard who is posing as a geek, all you need is this book and a comfy place to curl up and read it cover to cover.

Again, Ms Thompson has done a Snappy good job at turning Geek to Chic!

Review: Yeah Baby! Whewww! I need a cold drink and a hot cabana boy after reading this one :) I found it amazing that the author was able to keep me so interested, not only in the awesome sex and play, but in the story itself. Ms James deserves major *SNAPS* for this one;) Not only was the hero a tortured soul who can bring untold pleasure, the heroine finds a way to break through his walls and work her way into his emotions. Emotions he has never had before.

A couple of nice menage scenes and some sweet bondage play make this little novel a worth while read for anyone who likes it a bit rough but loves a happy ending. Hats off to you, Ms James, I applaud your talent and can't wait to read more

A spell-binding tale of men, women, vamps, were's, demon's and witch's all rolled into one....er...how many books will be in the series? Just you wait and see, because with everything that is going on in this installment, there is NO WAY any self respecting Tabitha Shay fan will even think about missing the next one :)

So much was told and revealed in this story.......I laugh when I say story only becasue a 104,070 word manuscript isn't really a story, it's a freaking saga! Though if you have read any of her works, you realize that expecting anything less, is impossible. Tabby has too much story to tell and not nearly enought time to tell it!

Many new and familiar faces were seen here, and most of them were welcomed. Even the ones who weren't added something interesting. A nice little spin and a taste of more to come.

She continues to WOW us with her intricate tale, sucking us in and leaving enough that we are clammering for more. HOLY TOLEDO! I can't wait.......So tell us Tabby, is the next one done yet? ;) Demanding, aren't I?

Author’s Warning: This title contains cursing, a sociopathic heroine, horny males and copious amounts of gratuitous violence.

Review: As a reader I don't normally grab a fantasy book. Not my norm. That being said I must tell you that this particular story made my tummy swoop, my blood drain from my face and left me aching for the characters. I LOVED EVERY BIT OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so drawn in by Serenity and the things she was feeling, so invested in her character that I rooted for her even when I felt she was acting a bit childish (Though after you read this you will probably understand) I must admit there was one male in particular I was rooting for through the book, and most of the time it wasn't the hero, though he did redeem himself finally. I felt bad for the other man and Hope that Ms Bagby finds it in her heart to give C. his own tale and love to find.

VIVID imagery only added to the delightful story-telling and this one will be read again, maybe in the very near future, by me.

Blurb: She wants a boyfriend for Valentine's and her husband wants to deliver.
Tori has come to the realization that her marriage lacks the spark it had in the beginning. She and her husband argue more than anything else and she foresees a nasty break-up on the horizon if something doesn't change. When he asks her what she wants for Valentine's Day, her answer is scandalous and straightforward—a boyfriend.
Rather than be upset, her husband is intrigued by the idea and sets out to make it happen. Tori has set herself—and him—an impossible goal and her prospects aren't that promising. But she's determined to have a boyfriend in time for the most romantic holiday of the year.

Review: I've said it before and I'll say it again, a review is just an opinion. When I read the blurb I was intrigued. When I started the story I was interested. As I continued I found several things that just did not work for me. As a mother I found it inappropriate that she disclosed her search for a boyfriend to her triples (Age 7) even though they heard about it from a family member first. I had issues with the husband who, even though he is the one who found he the perfect boyfriend (who I liked very much) insisted on watching them have sex and brought a bowl of popcorn as a snack while he watched another man do his wife.

Several times Tori refered to her children as monsters and it did not come across to me as playful. The boyfriends reference to "I may be white, but I'm black below the belt" didn't really work for me. And the reference that he son Cory would either grow up to go into some soft of law profession or be a serial killer struck me as a bit over the top.

That being said....The hot sex rocked! Even if the cover wasn't that great. I know I know, you are probably thinking I will never read another from this author, right? Well you would be wrong. Ms Renquist also writes under D. Renee Bagby and you will find a review for one of her books here too! And I adored it.

Caleb has spent the past four years harboring secret fantasies about Payton. When the lights suddenly go out and they find themselves surrounded by candles, will they realize they could be more than just friends?

Review: Ms. Campbell has written a refreshing short story that delivers on the classic friends to lovers storyline. What sets Lights Out apart is the author’s attention to detail. The scene is set, the characters--their desires and the torment of knowing they can’t have what they want is brilliantly crafted. Once the lights go out, the story heats up. The sex is hot, but what brings the encounter to life is the emotional connection between Caleb and Payton. And while I wished there was less setup and backstory in the beginning, the end was charming and left me smiling.

Businessman Jordan Fox wants to win back the woman he loves. He regrets not going through with that ménage in college, but the idea of letting another man touch him made him run. It was the biggest mistake of his life and long past time to make it right.

Secretly bisexual attorney Seth Foster has his fist wrapped around a recurrent fantasy that Jordan, his boss and best friend, is not completely hetero. Never in those wildest dreams did he imagine they could come true.

Jordan’s determination to get Caroline back could fulfill each of their fantasies and more.

Review: Oh my, oh my, OH MY GOD! I’m panting, I’m wet and OH MY GOD, I’m satisfied from words on a PDF! Do not read this book without a vibrator! Now that we’ve covered the fact that this book is hot, I also want to say Illegal Moves is probably the best erotic book I’ve read all year. It wasn’t just one point in the story that touched me, and believe me when I say there were many times I was touched. (Oh wait, you probably don’t need to here that.) It wasn’t that Caroline had to face the one man who betrayed her trust, spar with his hotter than hell best friend attorney, or face the fact that she’d do one or both because she’s desperately sex neglected. It wasn’t Seth and his torment over loving a heterosexual man. Nor was it Jordan, carrying years of guilt at hurting the one woman who ever meant anything to him. He’d just been too much of a dumbass to recognize what he had before he lost it. All of these points came together in a way that made me laugh, ache and Oh Yes, squirm in my chair because the sex was just that amazing. Dalton Diaz and Samantha Cayto have given each character had depth and flaws. There were parts that made me uncomfortable and moments when I swear I channeled a gay man and felt every bit of the connection between Seth and Jordan. This book will remain on my keeper shelf…forever and if EC ever decides to put the book in print, I’ll be in line for the first copy. These are characters you never really say goodbye to. They stay with you because the book was just that brilliant.

If I had to offer a complaint, it was on the cover. While I think Ellora’s Cave has some of the sexiest, suggestive covers, I felt this example went too far. The scene displayed perfectly fits the book, but this cover pushes the limit and in my opinion is too graphic.

Blurb: Connor Stevens has lived for more than 200 years...from the other side of a mirror. He's watched Tori Fraser for months, and has grown more than passingly fond of the woman, but the curse the sea witch placed on him is powerful. But is it powerful enough to withstand Tori's love?

Review: I adore a good short that makes me feel warm inside. When a hero and heroine worm their way into my heart, when tears prick the backs of my eyes during the black moment, when the ending is all I could have hoped for........I KNOW it was a great story :)

I had to chuckle at Tori several times through the story. Who wouldn't think their cheese had slid off their cracker if they started hearing a strange voice, seeing a man in their mirror and THEN to have him..................Naw. I'm not going to tell you! :) I know, I am such a tease.

Ms Barrett has done a terrific job and crafted a cute, interesting, unique story that left me feeling warm and mushy inside when I finished. A definite TWO thumbs up with *SNAPS* on the side. I can't wait to read more from this author.

Blurb: David Huntley, Viscount Maxton, has met the woman of his dreams. For several months he has been aroused by a very erotic vision in his sleep. A veiled woman comes to him at night in a garden and they have amazing sex.

Vivian Cassell has recently moved to London to become a courtesan. Wearing a veil to maintain anonymity, she offers her customers unique services as the “Vauxhall Vixen”. When her first customer is abruptly removed from the scene, Vivian chooses David as her alternate escort.

David is delighted to discover the woman in his dreams is real, and Vivian’s romantic nature is touched by David’s courtesy and appreciative manner. But can their relationship become more enduring than prearranged sex?

Review: Vivian, you naughty vixen! Delights are to be had in this devilishly delicious novella. Fated lovers, clandestine encounters in secret gardens, risk and passion. This story delivers all of this and more. The blurb is very accurate in describing Ms. Lee’s Vauxhall Vixen. What the blurb can’t show is the vivid descriptions, sensually erotic sex and smooth flow of the storyline. On the downside, I found the dialog stilted and awkward in places. However, it didn’t diminish the overall story for me. The characters were well developed and the plot not overly weighted with excess drama. Ms. Lee, thank you for writing an enjoyable way to spend the afternoon. It is a refreshing read that explores secret desires and in the end, delivers a believable happy ending.

Blurb: Several months ago she gave herself to him, body and soul, during a night of sexual enlightenment that changed her world forever. But since then, Lady Elizabeth Wentworth has reached a decision she believes is right for her. And her erstwhile lover, Sir Spencer Marchwood, isn’t part of it. She hasn’t forgotten him…how could she? He took her from innocent girl to sensual woman in a night of extraordinary delights. Such memories cannot be denied, only buried, relegated to her past as the private indiscretions of a foolish and impetuous girl.

Spence is upset. He’s plagued by memories of their passion, hungry for the taste of her lips and eager to hear her cries of pleasure once more. And it looks like that’s not going to happen ever again. He hatches a strategy to get Elizabeth’s attention and land her back in his arms—naked. Once that occurs, Spence knows he can take her to the edge of madness and beyond. It all comes down to one pivotal moment…the moment of Lady Elizabeth’s choice.

Review: Some stories are pure pleasure to read. This is one of those gems. The story isn’t complicated but like a cool glass of lemonade on hot day, the first sip only whets your appetite and the rest just satisfies. Spence is determined. With single-mindedness, he goes after what he wants. (Can you hear me sigh?) And lucky Lady Elizabeth is his fixation.

In this novella, Ms. Kelly gives us just enough history in the beginning, followed by lots of delicious sex and an ending to make you swoon. Should we all be lucky enough to have such a choice, safe, good and boring, or adventurous, dangerous and damned sexy? Oh this romance lover envies Lady Elizabeth's Choice.

Including the bite that will ultimately kill her - what slaves refer to as a kiss before dying. As the night fades into the day, will Sebastian discover Katja's true identity before it's too late? Or will he lose the slave he's come to love above all others?

Review: Vampire Vixens world wide will love the tasty bite! I am not usually all that into a story written in first person. Nothing personal, they just aren't my fav.........This one ROCKS!!!!!! Totally smokin' hot that left my knickers a tad moist :) Dying for love? It has been said that it is the greatest gift in the world. To give your life for the one you love, there is no greater sacrifice. What must it be like to love so completly and feel that love is only one sided and can NEVER be returned?

Ms Saare did such an amazing job with this little short. I was totally pulled in by the heroine, I felt her pain. Knowing her time was coming to an end. I just might have done the same thing in her position.

This was a wonderful, naughty nibble that has definitely thrown this author into my pile of "DAMN GIRL! YOU ROCK!" authors. I give Ms Saare *SNAPS* for a terrific paranormal that really pulls at the heart and tingles the insides with lusty feelings. If you have not read this one, I highly suggest you put it in your TBR pile because you won't be sorry :) As for me.....I am going to be looking for other works by this author and praying she keeps them coming!

Blurb: Disheartened and tired, Samantha Warren returns to Vermont during the winter break. Her passion for history rekindles after finding an old smuggler’s chest hidden in her grandparents' attic. Will she be able to return to New Jersey without her heart being smuggled like the chest once was? Or is it already too late?

Review: Have you ever read an Inspy that touched you so, that it left goose bumps and a warm soft feeling in your chest? This is one of the few that made me feel that way. The way the author expressed the heroines feeling's in her prayers to God left me with a wonderful ache.

This short story is just enough, at 37 pages, to whet your appetite and give you warm fuzzies about the relationship with the Lord and His place in your life and heart.

For me the romance, while there, took second place to Sam's search for a renewed faith. Not a Happily Ever After, but a Happy with the Promise for the Future, it was enough and I still felt the story itself was a worthwhile read. Thank you to Ms Carter, a good Inspy is hard to find sometimes and yours qualifies :)

Blurb: Alone and having just moved to a new small town, Arden Majors treats herself to a wonderfully romantic movie that leaves her primed to be kissed. Little did she know that the ruggedly handsome man racing down the dimly lit alley towards her would fulfill that need. By allowing this stranger to impulsively kiss her, Arden inadvertently rescues him from a dangerous position. The tables suddenly turned on Detective Jake Summers’ surveillance job and now two drug dealers want him and the video that would put them behind bars. With fate forcing them to work together, can these two passionate strangers stay focused on the situation, and not on each other, long enough to ensure their safety…and their future?

Review: I loved it..........The spur of the moment meeting, the thrills, the chills the hot looks and feeling. I found the story well ploted and totally believable........Until the very end. I have a hard time believing that the two of them after such a short time ( maybe a few hours) could be contemplating a serious relationship and the chance of a proposal. Had it not been for that, the story would have scored higher.

Ms. Thieler did a wonderful job with the telling and the suspense. I just wish the end had not been so "easy". I would love to read more of her work and will be out scouting for more samples of this authors work.

Blurb: Alexander Forsythe, a one hundred and three year old vampire, has an unwelcome house guest- a ghost by the name of Abbie Cowan. Not only does she throw temper tantrums on a regular basis, but she’s trashed his home and belongings. It’s time for her to be evicted.
Willow Cowan, the local witch, is a descendant of Abbie. Although Alex can’t stand witchcraft, he knows he needs Willow’s help to remove the spirit. Willow is not so sure she wants any part of a ghost hunt, until she sees a priceless family heirloom on display in Alex’s home. She agrees to help him in exchange for the necklace, though Alex is reluctant to part with the expensive jewelry.
Can they learn to work together and get past their differences? Or will Abbie be the one obstacle they can’t remove?

Review: Well, the plot had prospect but I felt the follow through was a tad on the weak side. Alex is hot, no doubt about it. Willow is saucy and I love that in a heroine. The problem that I had was Alex seemed to be very wishy-washy about Willow's use of witch-craft and spells. One minute he is dead set against it and the next he says go ahead. I also had a hard time believing that Willow would agree to come to a strangers home after only a small phone conversation where she knows nothing about him or what he wants to see her for. Even though she apologies later that it might not have been the smartest move.

Short stories are just that.....short. The author has a limited amount of time to make everything happen and I felt that the emotions were rushed. Not to say it wasn't a cute read, but I think it could have been better.

As far as the score for presentation, the editing was fine but the cover left me wanting. Just my opinion though.

Would I ever read another of Ms. Wolfe's stories? Yes I would. Her vivid imagery was wonderful I just had a hard time connecting with the characters in this one.

Blurb: Lovestruck veterinarian Marcus Hill thought he could wait for a relationship with Jane, but he’s offered his dream job in another state. It’s time to go.

Headstrong Jane Tipper is going to miss her best friend, but she understands why he’s leaving. She, too, has a career agenda she won’t alter for anything or anyone. Never again.

As their last week together approaches, their desire for each other hits high gear. Ending as friends with benefits sounds good in theory and feels even better. What could be better than a week of incredibly hot sex with your best friend? Neither one regrets it. Until it’s time for Marcus to go.

Note: Part of the proceeds from this book is being donated to the family of Lara Anne Punches, whose life ended tragically and too early.

Review: Stray Lovers has everything you want in a Quickie. Intense sexual tension burns hot from the first page and erupts into a scorching inferno that leaves you breathless and believing in the kind of love that lasts forever. The author brilliantly flows from Marcus’s perspective to Jane’s. From the moment you meet them on page one you are invested. While hoping Jane takes a chance on a love, I held out faith that Marcus wouldn’t let her turn her back on him just because she’d been scorned before. They need each other in the best possible way.

In the end, I just felt good after reading Stray Lovers. And for this Romance Reader that’s what it’s all about….Okay I also like to sweat, pant and twitch on my seat because both hero and heroine are getting the best sex ever. Yep this one delivers there too.

Blurb:Because best friends make the best lovers.

If it kills her, Kim Thomas is making a move tonight. In love with Jackson Hanley, her best friend since high school, Kim is determined to spark his attention by stepping out of her tomboy self and making him want her.

Want her he does, and Jackson can no longer avoid the succulent little lady he catches dancing on a table-minus her shirt. A thorough paddling could be in order. For tonight, naughty Kim is going to learn more about her best friend than she ever bargained for.

Review: Wow! What can I say? I love Ellora’s Cave Quickies. Usually the sex is banging from page one and by the end I’m wet and restless and needing my vibrator. I’m sorry to say, that I don’t feel that way about Naughty Tonight. I didn’t like Kim and I liked Jackson even less. For a savvy business man, screwing all your clients before you finish the deal, isn’t savvy. Kim whined until she pushed Jackson to make a move. Once he does, he isn’t initiating her into his world of kink (a world I love to visit as often as I can while escaping into a book) But he punishes her, gives her sex with such disdain that had she known what thoughts ricocheted around in his head, I would hope she’d run from the room. But alas I believe she’d stay anyway as long as he finally loves her. I also thought the ending was too easy. A split second decision doesn’t undo the horrible behavior, but he loves her now, so she happily leaves on the rose colored glasses.

As for the writing, fragmented sentences break the flow of the story. This story is not the typical example of an Ellora’s Cave Quickie. And if Ms. Brooks were to pen another, I would read the book. I have faith that this was simply a fluke in execution.
