Blurb: Clans of Kalquor 5. Dani Watson is a sex slave on the planet of Dantovon. Having escaped post-Armageddon Earth, she’s resigned to spending several years working in a brothel to pay off her slave contract. Her one consolation is that she avoided being captured and enslaved by the Kalquorians.

Review: I love Tracy St. Johns 'Kalquor Series'. The Kalquorians are prime examples of uber-manliness, yet caring and protective of their women. If they were real, I'd like a clan of my own!
Alien Slave starts with Danielle or Dani as she's mostly called in the book, an Earther woman who rather than be taken by the Kalquorians, has sold herself into sexual slavery to escape a nuclear devastated Earth. She has a stipulation in her contract about not wanting to serve Kalquorian men, as they are the enemy and all. However, she soon finds herself being employed by a Kalquorian clan, and as they've paid a large sum, she figures that one night couldn't hurt, and maybe she'd get her contract paid off a bit sooner than planned. She soon learns that one night with the Kalquorian clann will never be enough. It's a hot sexy romp with a plot. It's sizzling hot erotica at it's best, the way erotica was meant to be. If you haven't read any of the Kalquor Series, I highly recommend you get the series, you won't regret it!

Blurb: If Shadowmere had a ruler, Balian would be king. He is the most powerful of their number, feared above all others. And the time has come to find his mate.

In the land of Wyverns, men compete for the hand of the princess and the riches of her father's kingdom. One among them stands out, for he is the most skilled ... the most dangerous, and Princess Kisah knows this barbarian warrior will be her downfall should he win the games.

Review:I like a good fantasy fiction read, and was looking forward to one that portended to be a bit spicy. The setting was nice and believable, the majority of the dialog flowed well, and even the old cliché of the haughty princess and the darkly mysterious, adamant suitor played well. The spicy bits were a bit disappointing. The thing about fantasy fiction (and erotica set in that vein) is that it should give the author license to play with words and actions relating to sex. That is to say—don’t tell me the usual names for anatomical stuff. You’re supposed to be pulling me into a completely different world, so there MUST be a different way to describe sex—the feeling of it as well as the act itself. There, it fell down. All the pageantry was a great setup for what should have been steamy “we’re-not-from-here” relations. In the end, those parts ended up being more pedantic than titillating.

Overall, I liked the book; until the end. The problem I had with the end is that it just ended. It was rushed. I got no further feel of the characters, even though there is a momentous event at the conclusion. I could not figure out if the author was setting up a sequel, was bored by the writing at that point, or did not have a real grip on how the characters would react to the situation. Rather than a “AND THEN?” feeling at the end, I was left with, “Um…that’s it?”

I noticed the 2003 copyright date, and wonder if there is a Book 2. It’s not that I’m dying to read it, but, I have to admit, I’d go for the first two chapters or so just to try to get an idea of what the author intended those final reactions to be.

Blurb:Tasmin Robins has worked hard to earn her coveted diplomatic internship on the mysterious imperial world of Aurora. Driven and smart, though occasionally impulsive, Tas has a ten-year plan -- and it doesn't include love.

When Tasmin risks her life to save a stranger, she has no idea her sacrifice will leave her fate entwined with the most powerful man on Aurora -- DeMarcus Le'JeMur, Prince of the Stars and Ruler Of The Seven Kingdoms, ruler of the planets under Aurorian control.

When DeMarcus impulsively declares he owes Tasmin a life debt, she must convince the Imperial Council to grant them both their freedom. But after a night of erotic delights with the sexy alien, will she be able to let him go?

Review: Star Prince is the first Ashlynn Monroe book I've read, and it certainly won't be the last either. I love the alien culture, the Aurorians, and would love to hear more about their intriguing world. DeMarcus and Tamsin are characters that will tug your heart strings, and steam up your ereader screen. I devoured this book, and was very sad when I reached the end, because I didn't want it to end! I wanted more, more, more! Despite being short (81 pages), the story doesn't feel rushed or incomplete, in fact it's very well written. It just sucks you in, and is over before you know it, thus leaving you wanting more.

Blurb: Major Rick Keenan has a difficult mission: repair his broken shuttle, rescue a missing crew member and get off a near-dead planet. Angry that the U.S. is discontinuing the space program, he wants to find a discovery that will revise the government's position. Unfortunately, that discovery might just kill him, not to mention put his libido, on a quick launch sequence.

Marin is one of the last of her people. Forced to flee to the planet in her childhood, she's kept herself hidden away in darkness, safe in a castle-like fortress, only coming out when she needs to feed--from human blood. Convinced she'll never fit in, she shuns all contact, yet taking Rick hostage as a food source chips away at her perceptions even as he ignites her desire.

Though their differences threaten to tear them apart, their humanity binds them together. In a world where only the strong and determined survive, does a happily ever after stand a chance?

Review: Fractured is a futuristic tale set in the year, 2061. While trying to keep Earth's space program alive, Major Rick Keenan discovers the love of his life. Willing to give up everything he knows, in order to build a life with his purple hued, blood-sucking mate, Rick hopes his choice will not only save the space program but help him achieve his life long goal of learning from and uniting alien cultures.

Ms. Sookoo, has done a wonderful job of creating a fairy-tale romance with Sci-Fi roots. It's a beauty and the beast tale in which the author successfully unites a blood-sucking beast with a space hero. The sex scenes are sweet. Each is realistic and descriptive enough to be considered mildly hot without giving in to the purple prose monster. Fractured is a quick, fun, thoroughly enjoyable read and one I would highly recommend.

Blurb: A charming fairy and a diligent security professional both claim rights to a precious sapphire, the Starry Night. Raya needs the stone to save a valuable lake, and Max needs to make sure the gem stays in its proper place for a private showing at the museum.

Chasing Raya and the stone, Max travels between Earth and Raya’s planet, and while Max starts out with only one goal in mind, to return the stone to its home, he ends up on a lively adventure, interacting with several races of exotic beings who once resided on Earth.

Though captivated by the lovely Raya, Max has sworn to stay away from women after having been deceived by a beautiful but unscrupulous girlfriend in his past. The more time he spends with the enchanting fairy, however, the more he wants her. Raya is different from anyone he has ever met and even a man with iron willpower will have a difficult time resisting a determined fairy with her own secret agenda!

Review: The concept is good, but fails to deliver in the writing.

The main character, Raya, comes off a bit fake. After a bit of 'oh I can't', she just starts doing the nasty with everyone/thing that poses a threat.

It's an original short story, and would receive a higher score if it was expanded a bit. Every time the hero asks her a question, her standard reply is to tell just a little bit, and then say 'it's too long of a story to go into right now'. This would be better if the author took the time to rewrite it and make it into a longer book.

Review: Ok, so I took a chance on this one.  I have to say with only going off of the cover art and title, I was pleasantly pleased.

BUT ONE FORCE CAN BRING THEM TOGETHER...

Lucinda Force is the sensitive dark horse in a self-absorbed family, repeatedly told that no man will ever want such a plain woman. Lucy longs for romance, but is resigned to her loveless lot in life—until Tarq walks through the door of her father's restaurant on Talus Five...
Review: Well I have sat around and waited, rather impatiently, for the next book in The Cat Star Chronicles. I honestly am unable to explain to you how Cheryl Brooks is continuously able to capture my attention with her Sexy Zetithian Universe, or how she is able to write a book that I am physically unable to stop reading until The End. That, I cannot tell you.

What I can tell you is from the first page I could feel the sexual tension that had me squirming in my chair, and that leading into me being on the edge of the seat from the action. Having been whisked away and whirled about in a world of emotion, I again am left breathless and wanting more of this series.

Blurb: Three nights of pleasure…will it be enough?

Amanda had always been forgiving, until the night of her engagement. It was at that moment, when she found her fiancé banging the waitress in the bathroom, that she changed. Never again. Men were not going to use her ever again.

So when she found William’s portrait and learned that his sole purpose for existing was to please her, an electrifying relationship resulted. Her genie offered her three nights of pleasure. And Amanda quickly realized she wanted more.

Review: A sweet idea but the final product just didn’t have enough for me to believe the story. She was way too okay with a man appearing out of a drawing and being a genie. The next morning she is falling for him and then is going to set him free because she has all these feelings and love for a man she doesn’t really know.

The believability wasn’t there for me. Had this been a longer tale with more time spent between the characters I might have been able to buy it but as it is…I just couldn’t.

Little does she know Alex isn’t who he pretends to be, and when it comes to making women melt, he doesn’t need any help.

Security expert Alex Nichlaus has been undercover for four months and is putting the finishing touches on a smuggling case that has kept him secluded and celibate. When a sexy redhead shows up on his balcony claiming to be a fairy sent to teach him how to please a woman, he just can’t bring himself to send her away.

Review: This was a pretty cute story. Had the super strong emotions not come so fast after these two meet I would have found it much more believable… HOWEVER it was still a really cute read.

The whole Naughty Godmother thing? ROCKED!! I loved the entire spin on the fairy world and how Holly used to be a Tooth Fairy. Very cool and imaginative. The sex was hot and the story flowed very well.

All in all a good fast read that left me with a smile :)

Blurb: Manporium. It's where women of The Future go to buy the men of their dreams...and where twice-widowed Noelle Lytton is going to buy the third man of her dreams. Like a child crafting a Christmas wish list and checking it twice, Noelle has poured every last measure of hope into the traits she's selected to make up her third husband. She's checked her list more than twice, weighed it against past mistakes and future anticipations, and as she uploads her life's savings to pay the balance, she knows it's this man or nothing.

Sometimes things don't go quite as expected at Manporium, however, and a bride's wish list is, er...subject to interpretation. A man might, for example, come out smelling like gingerbread cookies and possessing extra appendages. All of which Noelle discovers as she comes to terms with the husband who, despite mistakes, is everything she wanted and much, much more.

Review: VERY NICE! Now, I am not usually one for Sci-fi but I am sure glad that I read this one. Sexy, a bit kinky with the tentacles but hey, it worked and not in an icky way either.

This writing team did a really good job with emotion and description. There really wasn’t much left to the imagination and for that I am glad. There were a few Futuristic words but nothing that I stumbled over and they were easy to figure out what the word meant. I like that.

Overall I say that this one is totally worth it. NICE JOB!!!

Blurb: David Jessman has found his lover, what he's lacking is control...

David Jessman has found his lover, what he's lacking is control of himself, the situation he's in and the blond gunwhore known to him only as Bells. Bad as that is for a man used to being in charge, he's finding that losing control may not be that terrible after all.

Review: Control begins where Zoner left off with no pause in the storyline. David and Bells are in bed and the smoking hot sex begins anew. These stories can best be described as intensely erotic BDSM sex with an intriguing plotline for backdrop. Control was more of Jessmen coming to terms with his needs and Bells acknowledging there is more than a contract between them.

Book Two enriches all we learned in Book One – Zoner. There is definitely the stirring of more than sex, and more than experiencing the Sweet Sisters of Pain and Pleasure. David and Bells are beginning to admit that they want more than a temporary contract. But there are still trust issues and secrets between them.

You don’t have the full story at the end of Control, but it was clearly the conclusion of another “act” in the story of David and Bells. Each story is building on the last, so these are best read in order. But read them because the series is unique and the books are well written with lots of hot sex that will make you sweat.

Blurb: David Jessman has it all. A great job, a wonderful home and wealth. What he doesn't have is a lover to share his life.

Bells is a gunwhore, a bodyguard and whore rolled into a single, neat package. He has nothing but his guns and a rather special set of skills.

When fate brings them together, neither man could have predicted the startling outcome.

Review: David Jessman is a bit naïve about the risks to his wellbeing and Bells is a gunwhore with a hidden agenda. The first installment rocks. It’s a lot to absorb and I think it’s one of those stories that is even better on the second reading because you understand more of this world and the “cyberpunk” elements.

The opening scene leads you into the story and but like a scary movie, you know danger is lurking around the corner. Your radar is going off, but when – bam!—the unexpected happens, it just intensifies everything. I felt that way while reading the story. I was entertained, I liked the set-up, but when the Bam! moment happened, I became hooked in much the same way Jessman becomes hooked on Bells and the Sweet Sisters—Pleasure and Pain.

The sex scenes in Zoner will curl your toes, leave you breathless, yet aching for more. The characters are fantastic and with each page, I was more invested in their story. This is the first book in a series and you are definitely left knowing you’ve only just scratched the surface. This is also a series that needs to be read in order or you’ll miss out on the depth of their burgeoning relationship.

Review: Hot, naughty, sexy, naughty, kinky, naughty....NAUGHTINESS ALL THE WAY!!!!

One of the things that I have come to expect from Ms Waters work is the pushing of limits and the highly sexual, sensual characters that she pens. This Christmas tale was all that.....and a bag of chips :) Sometimes it's just too damn good to be naughty and boy howdy does Santa get naughty in a big way :)

This one totally worked in all the right ways :) Kuddos to Ms Waters for yet another rocking story :)

One wish is all it takes for the sexy Santa she met to appear in her living room, wearing nothing but his boots, his red velvet hat and a silver bow. Because at Christmas, all heartfelt wishes can come true.

Review: I love Christmas stories. There is just something about them that really gets me…in the mood :o So I am sure that you are wondering why this tempting, teasing, pleasing little read didn’t get a better score…right?

It is personal preference. Which is what reading and reviews are all about. I loved the idea for the story. It was GREAT!!!! And had it not been erotic this one would have scored much higher…or had the story not had such a strong child presence. I love stories with kids…I am just not sure that they really belong in erotic stories. But again that is just me.

So, aside from that, I think that the imagination and creativity of the story was phenomenal and I can totally see this author as one of my “gotta read” authors. This author really pulled out the stops and crafted a really fun, cute and heartwarming Christmas love story.

Review: This is one that I liked. Even though the heroine from the start was so unlike her true personality I understood why she put on the front. L.A. did a good job explaining to me why Rebecca felt the need to portray herself as something else.

Hot, sexy and….frissions? Yes, thank you. I do believe I’ll try some  Holt is alpha, smoking and know’s what he wants…too bad he thinks he can’t have it. Made for a good story. Quick, to the point and SMOKIN’ HOT!!!!!!

Against all odds they survived the plague, but will the mistakes of the past continue to tear them apart?

Review: I really enjoyed this story. What would we do if the world as we know it changed and all things techno stopped? How hard would it be for those who have no idea how to do without common convenience? To grow your own food, haul your own water, kill your own meat.

There are some who, after a short transition period, could adapt and make a life very easily…but there are also those who would struggle and the lack of knowledge and the evaporation of the life they have always known would have a very dramatic toll on them.

While I hope that some super bug does not ever take this type of toll on the world that we live in I also realize that it could happen. That is one of the things that really made this story pop for me. While I had a bit of reservation about a few of the things that for some reason still worked without electricity in the story, I also know that fiction is not always meant to be rational.

The fact that a well still operated without the electricity to power the pump and force water into the lines to fuel the home plumbing didn’t really detract from the story. All in all it was an enjoyable, HEAVY read that really made me think about things.

Well done Ms Langlais, you were able to take a very serious circumstance and turn it into an enjoyable read with ease. :)
