Blurb: A year after the death of her mother, Karine developed a crush on her stepdad, Martin. Recently, she’d been spying on him as he masturbated to porn movies and dreams of being intimate with him. This time, she’s decided to make her move. Will they get it on or will it be an epic fail?

Review: For a hot erotica daddy/daughter theme, this one was worth the read. Now, when I read erotica I am not expecting romance. Hell, most of the time I am not even expecting solid writing but what I do expect is for the actions and launguage to cause certain "stirrings" Mission completed.

This dirty little tale did exactly what is was designed to do  :)

Blurb: Dana ends up getting stuck in an elevator with her ex-boyfriend’s brother during a blackout. Up to that point, she’d been able to deny her attraction to the man who was a complete opposite to the kind of man she normally dated. Now that they’re trapped together, will either of them be able to resist their passion any longer?

Review: Elevator sex is a tricky subject. It has been done to death and there are very few ways to breathe life back into that dead horse. Ms Vincent has written a cute story about what it’s like to have feelings for someone that you might think you shouldn’t and what can happen when those two are caught in a situation with no escape.

Aside from the steamy sex the rest of the story seemed a bit on the tame vanilla side, it was still a cute short read that worked in all the right ways.

Blurb: On her way to her grandma's house, Red meets the Wolfman and engages in a friendly competition. What she doesn't know, is that the Wolfman has evil plans for both her and grandma. Will the Hunter brothers arrive in time to save the day?

Review: Everyone knows the story of Little Red Riding Hood. This retelling was to say the least…unique.

There were a few parts that were just so funny I couldn’t help but laugh and I am not sure if it was the author’s intent but that’s what happened. It definitely carried a whimsical fairy tale feel. Cute, short and just right for a light read that doesn’t require too much thought

Blurb: It’s been a year since the floods had decimated Cedar Rapids, an urban city in Eastern Iowa. For Noah Martin, a firefighter and rescue worker during the floods, nothing has been the same. After losing his heart to a petite woman he’d tried to rescue, he’d been devastated when the flood waters had took her from him. He’s haunted by her memory and what could’ve been if he’d only been a little stronger, held onto her a little longer.

Unbeknownst to Noah, Alessandra “George” Georgiadis had survived the floods but the memory of her promise to him, has haunted her. She’d promised him their time together would only be a moment out of time. Even though, she longed to see the sexy firefighter once more, she’d told herself it was best this way. After all they hadn’t even exchanged more than their first names; how deep could their bond possible go?

But what will happen to her best intentions when Noah and she cross paths in the most unexpected of places? Will the love and desire they found for only a brief moment rekindle, or will Alessandra hide behind her disability?

Review: Dakota never fails to deliver a thought provoking story. A Moment Out of Time was no exception. I loved the premise of the story, loved that Fate may have had a hand in bringing together two people who needed each other.

Noah is true hero material, risking his life for others. When Alessandra is in danger, he doesn’t think of his own safety. He has a job to do. But alone, scared, she needs more from him than rescued and Noah is drawn to her. It was a poignant moment that made the rest of a somewhat unbelievable story, believable.

The connection for these two is instant and while, I don’t usually buy into the love at first glance or love after a single encounter, I think in this case, when faced with a life or death situation, two people could forge a connection.

Blurb: Ian dated the youngest of four Catholic sisters in a small English town where nothing much happened since the hold up of the chip shop two boring years before. He'd dated Abby two years continuously and fucked her even longer; they got on well enough and were in love, saving up to marry one day. Just like some of Abs older siblings, how nice that would be, daydreamed the young girl, to be married and happy.

As she made love to Ian, he had other ideas - how to fuck Abby's other sisters, each and every one. He would love corrupting these nice quiet Catholic gals! Ian made love to Abs in the back of his old works van that he used a runabout. He was bare chested, his upper body glistening with sweat. Red fingernail marks ran down and across his bare skin where Abs had scratched him while he pumped her missionary style as fast and quickly as his body allowed. She squealed and moaned like a gal possessed.

An idea formed in his head.

Review: While there was no shortage of sex in this shorty, it just didn't work for me. Corny dialoge, propositions that seem to come out of nowhere greated with enthusiasm and vigor, I just found it hard to believe. Even for an erotica. Becasue of these issues the story  failed to titilate and left me wanting.

This is not to say that the author lacked the ability to craft a tale that flowed with good dialoge and descriptions, because that is not the case. I just found the actions less than sexually arousing.

Blurb: Tomboy Priscilla, better known as Little Red, wants to break free. She's not so little anymore and she wants to experience pleasures unknown to her.

Matt Wolf wants one thing and one thing only. He wants Little Red in his bed and he knows how to get it, even though he'd failed to do so.

Jason Hunter knows that protecting Little Red is something he was born to do, even without Little Red's consent or her grandmother's endless plea to protect her, he would always do so. But when Little Red proves to have other plans for Wolf and him, things get complicated and Hunter cannot seem to say no to her advances.

One woman, two men. One hot tale of ridin' men.

Review: Read any retellings of classic fairytales? Dirty retellings? I have. I have actually read quite a few and I have to say that I enjoy most. Some more than others but I like to see authors put a fresh spin on the classic tale.

Ms Gomez has. there were a couple times when the story slowed, but the heat was HOT and the story sound. This fresh spin was a clean breath of air among so many red Riding Hood stories that seem to follow the same pattern.  It is worth a look :)

Blurb: Deborah Wagner expected her drive home from college to be a quiet and uneventful one. However, she soon finds herself in a dilemma when her Ford Tempo breaks down in the middle of the Oregon desert. With no way to call for assistance she walks off in search of a friendly rancher and a telephone. Unfortunately for her she will find neither one. Deborah soon finds herself freezing to death in a road side gully as the winter winds howl past her. Will she perish alone in the Oregon desert? Or will fate send a handsome and mysterious stranger to rescue her from an icy death? Will she truly discover Desert Passion in the rugged and desolate land of eastern Oregon?

Review: Though not quite what I expected I must confess that it was pretty good. While I would not really classify this as a romance, I would certainly say that it has an interesting twist at the end that I found I really enjoyed. The author did a good job bringing the story full circle and I was left with not only a bit of dampness but a tingle up my spine.

Mr. Smith, Well done :)

Blurb: In this follow up to "Moan For Me", vivacious Leslie and her lover Tom Parker, the former bartender of Parker's Place, are challenged on their sexual but serious relationship. Tom's parents don't agree on their love, but things get out of hand when ex-boyfriend Mark is in for revenge. Who will win and who will lose, when there's more than a crowd? And are both Leslie and Tom willing to wait for each other?

Warnings: This title contains graphic language and sex.
Review: I wish I could have given this story a higher score because the author does know how to string words together. The characters are well developed, the pacing is easy to read and the descriptions make the setting easy to see.

The problem for me with this story is that I found the characters unlikable and the story to have little plot or concept. I kept thinking all the angst with the parents was going to go somewhere, but it doesn’t. They are just jerks and Tom allows it. They have no reason for not liking Leslie. They’ve never met her and Tom doesn’t talk to them often so they can’t know much about what is happening in his life. There is some redemption at the end, but it wasn’t satisfying. He doesn’t make a leap of faith but rather has the facts and truth before he goes after her. I can make a mental stretch and say that yes, the love elements and the personal conflict for the characters are there. Leslie is ready for “forever” and Tom might be, but to risk forever he must subject Leslie to his horrible parents.

There were other problems as well. I never got the deal with the bar. The bar was closed, (but wasn’t) and Tom didn’t seem to have any other direction in his life. I didn’t understand why Leslie wanted him to close the bar. I understood that there was some sort of conflict with a minor character Archer, but what that threat was I’m not sure. The backstory provided contributed little to the understanding of their history.

Blurb: Salima is a dancer for the sultan and his guests. She spends her days in a cage with the other dancers having servants paint her skin gold and glue sapphire gems in her hair, the sultan’s favorite stone. All dancers are destined to be courtesan when they reach eighteen.

Salima, however, has a different plan. She dreams of spending the rest of her life with the general, the man she’s always loved. On her eighteenth birthday, Salima is allowed to spend a few days with the general at his private home. She is determined to seduce him even if it means defying the sultan’s law; she must remain pure until her special night with the sultan.

Will Salima find a way to escape her fate and live with the man she loves?

Notice: This title was previously published elsewhere

Review: Ok, this one was sexy once Salima grew up. For the first part of the story it is told from her POV as a child but nothing sexual really happens.
Cute and kinky, with a happy ending Ms Star did a good job. Written in first person we get to follow Salima as she learns ALL about sex and the pleasures it can bring. I giggled a couple times at her first impressions of the male body but was quickly swept away following her passion.

Blurb: Mirka and her boss have something going on. They are both attracted to each other but they are opposites and out of each other's league. Will something this forbidden be worth consuming?

Review: As a general rule I am a sucker for doing the boss stories :) I just can't help it. There is something so forbidden about them.

This one however was an exception. From the get-go I was so confused I wasn't sure what was going on. Water cooler conversations, a LOT of fruit talk, a lunchroom sex scene with a voyeur, more fruit talk and an ending. Those are the things I know were there.

I was so turned around by page two I had a very hard time even trying to keep up with the story. The conversation was there but like Charlie Brown all I heard in my head was "waa waa waa" It just didn't register with me. I read the story a second time hoping it was just my brain but alas I was just as confused the second time around.

Blurb: Misha has a secret crush on Tania. Every time she helps her out with her reading assignment, she dreams of making love to her. Will her dreams become a reality?
Review: This little 10 page tease gives a quick glimpse of what one woman feels anytime she's around her secret crush. Always wanting but never making that next move.
Though the love scene wasn't burn em up hot it was a touching story between two women who both harbor a secret and in the end......yeah, you should know by now that I can't ruin it for you :) You'll just have to read it yourself to see if Misha gets the girl ;)
I have always enjoyed a good secret crush story and this one was no exception. Ms Star did a good job laying in emotion and giving vivid description in this short tale. I would like to see more from her in the future :)
