Review: This one was a little tough for me. When I first started reading I was a little thrown by the omniscient point of view. I realized a few pages later the why of it though :) Once the story gets started....WOW does it go! hot Hot HOT!!! Studs, France and chocolate? Yeah Baby!

The story was cute, the characters well written, the plot steamy. A few times I felt the descriptive embellishments were way above and beyond what was needed, but the story was still able to hold my attention and keep me till the end :)

Review: Had I not known what I was getting with this story, I think I would have hated Donny and Danny. As readers, we loved flawed heroes on a journey to discovering life, love and personal worth. I felt Danny and Donny crossed the line several times and their behavior was beyond reckless and bordered on illegal.

But I did know what I was getting because the blurb accurately describes the story. That fact and that I love Ms. Hauser’s work kept me reading and hoping for redemption for Danny and especially Donny. And I wasn’t disappointed.

About the story-- I really disliked the immaturity of Donny and Danny and there were a few times that I thought men who fight like five year olds are too juvenile to be characters in an erotic novel. Those passages aside, there was growth for the characters. Pete and Bruno deserved better than what Danny and Donny initially offered. Ms. Hauser did a fabulous job of bring both characters full circle by the end of the story. I think Donny showed the most growth, which is a good thing, because he was the more broken of Danny and Donny. When Donny acknowledges his growing friendship and attraction to Bruno I felt every emotional tug right along with him. And that he was willing to lose everything to prove he was worthy of Bruno’s love and trust, I breathed a sigh of relief. But I have to say, even during these moments of growth, he was still underhanded and manipulative. But I don’t think it was reasonable to assume he could make that much of a turn around in the span of a few days.

By the end of the story, Danny shows he has a backbone and is able to go after what he wants. I was thrilled to see him get it all.

Double Trouble has a few bumpy spots, but at the end of the journey, I didn’t so much mind. The story was solid and leaves you with a good feeling.

Review: I had a little trouble with this one. Not that it was toilet worthy, because it wasn't, I just had a hard time believing that Slade would accept so readily a hot woman morphing from a house cat in the middle of his living room. The story itself I felt needed more. Maybe if it had been longer I could have had more time to grow attached to the characters but as it was I really felt no connection to either of them.

The sex came fast, hot and heavy. The happy ending made me smile (as always :) I just wish I had been in love with the characters at the end. As it was I felt like I got a Cliff's Notes version, hitting just the highlights and not much of the behind the scenes stuff that I feel really could have brought the characters to life.

Review: This is the operfect example of a story that is better the second time around. If you are a follower of my reviews, you know what a sucker I am for a "friends to lovers" story and this one is a great one :)

Review: I like many others enjoy a hot steamy read. Throw in a bit of BDSM and call it a winner. I had a couple of little issues but it was nothing that made me put the story down. Once I opened this one I read till it was done.

During the first scene I had a bit of a hard time keeping straight what man was doing what when. The heroine was wearing jeans then a skirt, not a major oops but something that should have been caught. And the lack of protection during the first sex scene.

Aside from those issues I found the tale tantalizing and tempting. A good solid read that will definitely urge me to read more by Ms Gayle :)

Review: Bloody Hell!! Give Me Some of That Honey Trap!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this novella and will continue to look out for more books in the Going Down Under series.

However, the only issue I had (which some would consider inconsequential) was the use of “Ex-Marine”. I need more than a few hands to count the number of marines I know, and they have always stressed that even if you had retired or been honorably discharged there is no such thing as an ex-marine (has something to do with pride and egos). Like I said, no biggie – just kinda bugged me. But I still loved the story!!

Review: This story had a wonderful premise, likable characters and a solid plot. The beginning started off strong but the middle sagged. There just really wasn't much pop so even though it started strong, by the time I got to the end I really didn't care about the story anymore.

Toward the end, the setting for the last love scene plagued me a bit. Had I been Maddie I am not sure I would have wanted to engage in a love making session in the same room with the vampire ashes of the monster who just tried to kill me and my love, but that's just me.

Review: Holy Knocking Kneecaps!!!! WOW! I am not sure that I can really get across how rocking this story was but I fully intend to try. If you have never indulged in a hard core BDSM novel but have always been curious, here is a great one to start with. It really delves into the lifestyle and shows the reader all aspects.

Riveting, gut clenching, captivating. Filled with characters that really come to life and jump off the pages. Rocking sex that pushes the limits and goes beyond for those of us who are used to Vanilla :) Totally smoking with an ending that makes it all worth it, though the story itself was well worth every word and then some.

Ms DeYoung has definitely earned herself a die hard fan. I will be on the buy page when her next release hits the web :)

Ms. Gellis has done a wonderful job capturing the landscape and creating such unique characters. From the feisty Alys whom gets as much done as she gets into trouble, down to the common serf folk who are meek and terrified of the noble woman. I loved certain characters, and hated others – however, in my mind, those characters were meant to be disliked.

Bravo Ms. Gellis! I hope to see more from you.

Review: Oh My God! This book is hilarious! I have never wanted to be a dog until now. Ms. Allen has thought of everything. Review: A total Hum-Dinger!!! Even being book two in a series, this one can stand alone, though I started with the first one and loved it, too! I have come to expect clever, interesting, engaging writing from Ms Cheever, and I was not disappointed!

Captivating characters, sexy men, twists and turns, GREAT SEX!!! and an ending that will bring a smile to your face.

Ms Cheever has secured me as a solid follower of her work with her Cupids and like. A MUST read for all who love mythology. *SNAPS* Sam, rest assured that my eyes will be peeled for your name for many years to come :)

Review: A captivating read with characters that really come to life. A time or two I wanted to reach into the book and shake Rebecca for her lack of faith and her blame towards God for the man who broke her heart. I wanted to sit her down and tell her It's not His fault that guy was a jerk! But I also realize there are times when people blame the Lord for things they shouldn't.

Enter Adam. a sweet interesting vet who is trying to find a place to call home and start a new practice. He was such a sweety that I had tears in my eyes more than once.

A well writen story that deserves *SNAPS* Here's to Ms Travis on a job well done :)

She wants to meet the buyer. She and the buyer.......:) you didn't really think I was going to tell you, did you? NOPE! you'll have to read it to find out what happens :)

Review: I must say that this little number was a succulant sample, just right for an afternoon. The author did a great job creating characters, plot and flow that were able to keep me engaged and interested in what was going on.

I thought the ending was a truely wonderful surprise. It brought a smile to my face and confirmed for me that everything happens for a reason. With hot sex, a smokin' genie and a really old bottle of wine, what's not to love?

Review: My heart is still pounding. This is the best suspense I have read in a long time. The action was non-stop. The twists and turns came out of the blue and left me breathless. The psychic elements were wonderful and the ending was brilliant. Not overdone, no long drawn out scenes. It was simply wonderful.

Both Frank and Rand are well thought out, the sex is hot and vividly described. When they are together, it’s raw yet beautiful. I can’t call it a complaint, because I loved the story as is. But it is the suspense of the book that carries the story. The “Romantic” part of “Romantic Suspense” is not an integral part of SHOWDOWN. But even without a strong romance within the story, it still a book to stay on the keeper shelf. The story stands alone, but I think I want to truly get to know the characters. So I’m off to read the first two in the series, Crossroads and Crossroads: Revisited.

Review: *Sigh* The plot and story line for this little tale was wonderfully promising. I felt the editing fell sadly short in polishing this tale to what it could have been. Though the story had a very novice feel I think with some time this author will be one to watch for!

I found myself wishing the story would have been longer so I could have seen more of the hilarious things these two went through during her stay. I have to admit that the first scene had me laughing so hard I though I was going to pee in my pants :)

You’re swept in, holding your breath and finally able to exhale when you see both Ben and Grace are willing to take a chance on love.

The rodeo scenes were vivid and believable. The sex was hotter than an August afternoon. A cast of characters that added to the story without taking it over. I think what I loved most about the story were the flaws within each of the characters. Just broken enough to need the right partner to heal their wounds. Ben does get a little domineering. I wasn’t bothered by the D/s elements, but they aren’t classic D/s. Ben and Grace play at it. As wonderful as Ben is, I don’t believe him when he thinks he needs it. But in saying that, I think it adds to his charm. He’s a tough guy, knows what he wants, is stubborn, but if Grace put on the pants in the relationship, I think he’d play along.

This story is exciting, emotional, arousing and satisfying. Ms. Holt shows just how sexy a cowboy is. Yee Haw!

I love the way Ms Knight brings these two different worlds together and crafts love stories that will leave the reader breathless.

Review: What a wonderfully heart warming story! The moving from present to the past to show the story of these two sets of lovers and the heartache was wonderful. There were times when I was following the story for the ghost, Elizabeth that I wanted to cry.

Amelia has her own issues to deal with along with trying to help Liz. I ached for her, too. Such a tale with amazing characters and a well told story is a rare find. I was well satisfied with the ending and the resolution for both couples. A delight that I am sure I will revisit in the future :)

Review: When I saw the blurb I was pulled in. It is understood that the relationship between author and muse can be a tricky one for some. Much like a love affair there are times when you just can't keep your hands off each other and other times when if you even see the other person you just want to strangle them :)

Though I felt the beginning started off slow, once it got going it flowed well. The love scenes were hot, the story solid, the dialogue more sparse than I would have liked but most of the story takes place in a secluded cabin. All in all not a bad little number and it really sheds a new light on the love affair between an artist and their muse :)

Review: All in all not a bad read. Although the hero came across with some very un-hero like qualities at first--very aggressive and dominate--The first time he meets the heroine he basically tries to drag her off to the bedroom without even stopping to get her name, he was able to redeem himself for the most part.

I laughed at the reference to the heroine being "very hairy" in areas most women trim up. I got a vivid mental image when the hero "laced his fingers through the thick hair". And a side splitting chuckled when the heroine said.... “Hairy.” She squeezed her eyes shut. “I’m too hairy down there.” LOL!!!

As I said...all in all not a bad little read :)

Caden is dark, mysterious and avenging his lost love. The moment he discovers Rage had my heart pounding. There was so much wonderful world-building, depth to character and sex that wasn’t just titillating (and the sex was hot) but the emotional punch made me breathless.
The surprise is the delicate way Ms. Sidhe reveals the layers of Ripper. You hate him. No, you love him. No wait, he isn’t the hero in the story, but for a moment, you want him to be. But no, Caden and Regina belong together. Right?
If you want a story that weaves a cocoon of intimacy, betrayal, revenge and redemption, this is a story that satisfies on every level. A cast of characters that add a richness to the plot and make me hope that there are more stories coming for these heart-stealing vampires. I could tell you that Ripper and his minions are all destroyed in the end, but thankfully I don’t have to. But I also won’t spoil the action packed ending. Oh, but I know you want a spoiler. Maybe I’m a sucker for a tortured soul, but I will not-so-patiently wait for another story and hope that Ms. Sidhe doesn’t let Ripper, Dean and Shade disappear into oblivion never to be heard from again.

Review: LOVED IT!!! This is one of those little numbers that you read and when you get to the end you just want to start all over again. Without a doubt this is one of the best books I have read in awhile.

Though I felt I was reading a Sweet contemporary and not really an inspirational, I fell in love with the characters, the plot, the smart quirky way Hannah puts Aaron in his place when he comes to talk about baby Seth, and the resolution left me feeling good all over. A total winner ;)
