Blurb: Human Design, Book One
A self-professed lab geek, Claire doesn’t date much. In fact, she has more contact with the rats at the lab than with human males, not counting her toadlike boss, Gordon. When her coworkers drag her out to a club, Claire ends up fending off her drunk and handsy boss—until she’s rescued by Ed, the most beautiful bouncer she’s ever seen.
Her tentative, exhilarating relationship with Ed is interrupted when she learns her boss intends to falsify research data to win a grant. When Claire threatens to reveal the truth, she endangers her life, as well as Ed’s. Framed and forced to run, it’s not long before Claire discovers Ed is hiding a shocking secret of his own.
Through arson, police chases and attempted murder, the two grow closer, the intensity of their lovemaking rivaling that of their harrowing journey. Claire would be worried about the ever-present danger and a grim future as a fugitive…if she weren’t so engrossed in her erotic experiments with Ed.
Review: Ms Allen has done it again. Amazing characters, amazingly hot sex and a story that will have you ignoring the phone, the kids, and your family just so you can keep scrolling the pages. The setup was great. The story starts on a bad date of sorts, enter hot guy to diffuse the situation, hot guy takes girl home, and no, they don’t have sex but you know it’s inevitable because the sexual tension was just that thick.
But then the story really took off. Non-stop action and witty dialog make EXPERIMENTING WITH ED a pleasure to read. The sex scenes are varied and man, did I tingle in all the right place. I’d like to do my own experimenting with Ed. Darwin, as a secondary character, gives me reason to expect follow-up stories will have equally hot heroes with remarkable special abilities, but not so remarkable that the story becomes unbelievable.
The conclusion was just a bit disappointing as much of it happened off scene. However, that doesn’t detract from the brilliance of the rest of the story. I savored every word and will be first in line for the next installment. Well, what else can I say? I think Ms. Allen is a wonderful writer. I’m a fan of her heterosexual stories and ravenous over her gay romances. As long as she is writing stories, I’ll be reading them. Lucky me. Now go pick up a copy of EXPERIMENTING WITH ED for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

Gay Romantic suspense sprinkled with humor and deliciously delivered
Blurb: When Officer Peter Giordano is assigned to keep Trevor Haas safe until he can testify against his murderous father, he expects the hardest part of his job will be keeping his hands off the gorgeous witness. The two men hide out in the small, sleepy town of Honeysuckle, fixing up their dilapidated safe house by day…exploring each other’s bodies by night.
Their small-town neighbors have some secrets of their own, however, including one that someone is willing to kill to protect. Soon, a neighbor is dead and Pete and Trevor are thrown into the middle of a murder investigation. The two men struggle to keep Trevor’s true identity a secret, knowing his father will stop at nothing to silence the star witness against him—even if that means killing his own son.
Note: Pete and Trevor won’t have to go it alone. Wash and Rhodes, the crush-worthy heroes from Private Dicks, are along for the ride once again.
Review: If I were a man, and gay, my hell, would I want to Hide Out with Pete and Trev. Scrumptious, hilarious man flesh in a story with quirky characters, a rural setting and plenty of plot to keep the pages turning. Crisp dialog, tight storytelling, it was simply a pleasure to read. Ms. Allen has become a favorite must-read author.
Pete is stubborn and steadfast and Trevor is a smartass not always inclined to listen. Together they are as charming and they are hot. Their interaction with the neighbors is outrageous in the most wonderful way. While the white-hot sex adds the spicy to this tale; the secondary characters add the color. A romantic suspense with laugh out loud moments. When the final page was turned, I wanted to read it again.

Paranormal Erotic
Blurb: As a first-grade teacher, Bridget thinks she’s prepared for anything a classroom of six-year-olds can throw at her. So it’s a bit of a shock when she’s bitten by a were-puppy and transformed into a dog.
As if peeing outside, excessive furriness and squirrel-chasing urges aren’t enough, it seems as if everyone is after Bridget—including a billionaire with an unhealthy interest in the paranormal, and Micah, the smoking-hot uncle of her were-puppy student.
When she takes refuge with Hammer, a kind stranger who has the body of a god and feeds her hamburgers, Bridget thinks she’s safe. Micah’s hot on her trail, however, and the crazy billionaire isn’t about to let a were-dog slip through his fingers. Meanwhile, Hammer is determined to discover the truth about the mysterious woman who visits his bedroom at night—wearing nothing but a black leather collar.
Chasing Her Tail features a cameo by Hammer’s friends Harry, Beth and Ky. Get to know the trio more…intimately…in Katie Allen’s One-Two Punch.

Review: Oh My God! This book is hilarious! I have never wanted to be a dog until now. Ms. Allen has thought of everything. From her first transformation, Bridget is stumbling to find her way in a dog eat dog world. (Thank god Micah is also a dog and dog eating is on the menu. In addition to great oral sex, she, Micah and Hammer also like a lot of anal play) Anything goes with this trio so be prepared to be turned on. But don’t worry about any ick factors. There is only hot, turn-me-on sex in human form.
Bridget is the center of the story, but the developing relationship between Micah and Hammer adds a devilishly delightful element. This fresh, fun novel turns a typical shifter story on it’s ears. Exciting, sexy, funny as hell. This one is a must read for any dog lover. If you aren’t a dog lover, you will be after reading Chasing Her Tail.
