Blurb: Thursday has never wanted to be shared but here she is, being passed from one Master to the next as if she is nothing more than a doll, there only to please them. All this because Scary hated not having been the one to break her. The damn man obviously thinks he's a god. Ah, let her laugh! He's just like the other ones, except...except now he's also the only one who seems to take care of her. The only one who manages to make her come, the only one who tries. What's going on? Why is Scary suddenly the man she goes to? And why does no one listen to her when she says she doesn't do women?

Warnings: This title contains graphic language, group sex and elements of lesbian sex.

Review: As a fan of Ms Hillman, I knew I’d get an emotion story to go along with scorching hot sex and well developed characters. This story is no exception. As a reader, I think the book would be better enjoyed had I read the first in the series. I wasn’t immediately captivated by the characters and the setting took a little time to become grounded. However, within a few pages I was swept into the story and had no trouble understanding who the characters were and their connection to Thursday. In the heart of the story, I couldn’t read through the pages fast enough. I simply had to know what was going to happen next. I found myself falling for Scary as easily as Thursday does. Ms. Hillman pens a poignant story and in the end I felt exactly as Thursday. The author gives emotional depth to the story that is so real, it’s not always a pleasant experience. But that was the intended response and one that will stay with me long after the book was finished.

Blurb: Enter the hallowed halls of the Mount Holly boy's prep school, where young men are trained for athletic scholarships at prestigious universities and hidden away for unseemly histories of being naughty with other young men-but where the environment only encourages their naughtiness and broadens their experience to include older men. And Spoil the Child is a twisting tale of a professor-student struggle for one-upmanship and dominance.

Warnings: This title contains graphic language and m/m sex.

Review: And Spoil the Child is a hot glimpse into life on campus. College bound athletes, hot, primed and ready for some gay sex education. Wow, I’ve been schooled in the most deviant ways. The story has a nice pace, lots of hot sex and a variety of characters. I was dropped into the heat of the story and the intensity never let up. Wickedly good and easy to recommend.

Blurb: Hardcore punk rocker Jennifer's been exiled from her safe, far away college back to her small town. The trouble started when she was caught having sex with her college adviser, Paul-by the Dean of Students. All she wants to do is damn the man and the trouble has just kept coming. She's forced by her socialite parents to work the night shift in her local grocery store while feigning off come-on's from customers and a circa 1950's boss.

But things get more complicated when Paul comes back into town for a little stop-and-shop. Jennifer is forced to confront their growing master/slave relationship and the mounting feelings she's been harboring all summer. Meanwhile, Paul the good ol' boy whose grown up playing football and exuding charm is ready to put Jennifer's smart little mouth to work. All she wants is for him to stay. But he won't take anything from her without a price.

Warnings: This title contains graphic m/f/m sexual situations, spanking, a high level of dominance, and submission play.

Review: For a short story, Checkout has all the makings for a hot little teaser. I have to say I was disappointed. The blurb has more story content than the actual story. I love Excessica’s sinfully wicked short stories of sex. Tightly written titillation. Turn me on and leave me breathless. I don’t even need that much “plot, story or characterization” if I know I’m getting a little sex on paper. I love it. Checkout had potential. I felt like there was more interchange between the customer Jennifer blew off than there was between her and Paul. At times the choreography was difficult to visualize. While Ms. Hepner is clearly talented in her writing ability, this story didn’t come together for me. There was also repeated misuse of words that became distracting.

Blurb: Graham Hall is twenty-six and has a dream job as a travel writer. He's come to Colorado for work and a little personal down time. With his article done and the six-month lease up on the small cabin in the valley, he's stayed around until his next assignment. In a downtown Denver bar, Graham meets Edward and after a short conversation agrees to a blind date with Edward's business partner, Jane. After all, what could it hurt?

Jane is completely oblivious to the machinations of Edward and Graham and shows up at Graham's cabin to deliver a box of handmade chocolate truffles. From the minute Graham opens the door, Jane falls head over heels in lust. A plus size, mid-thirties woman, Jane isn't sure what Cowboy Surfer, as she's dubbed him, sees in her or why he's so tenacious in his pursuit and tries throwing him off at every turn.

The inability to say continue saying 'No' leads to hot, scorching sex and a lot of follow-up phone calls opening Jane's eyes to the realization that maybe life doesn’t have to revolve around chocolate truffles, but rather around a delicious, well traveled younger man.

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: Dubious consent, voyeurism of male/male sexual interaction.

Review:
You know, there are times when you start reading a book and for some reason things just feel right. The hero is sexy, and irresistible. The heroine is likable but has reservations about the development of a relationship. The super stud is going to do his damnedest to change her mind...And somewhere along the way you find yourself smiling for no apparent reason. Maybe it's because the story is just one of those that you like.
That is how I felt about this one. I just couldn't help but fall for the characters in the first few scenes. Ms Matthews, you have done a great job crafting a sexy, sensual tale that kept me warn. :)

Blurb: It's a temp worker's dream for Aaron Adams-working at an upscale accounting firm in Phoenix that openly caters to hiring GLBT employees. Better still, Aaron's finally been invited to sit at the lunchroom's "rainbow table," where all the "gay elite" at DCH mix and mingle together, sharing laughter and office gossip. Soon, however, Aaron realizes there are some very stereotypical haters in the bunch-when a short, beefy, almost supernaturally good-looking Latino enters the lunchroom just long enough to buy something from a vending machine. The entrance, and exit, of senior accountant Raymond Aguilar sets the rainbow table to twittering; it seems the gossip going on around the office is that practically every gay guy in the building has bedded the hunky Latin stud, who's pretty much known as the office slut-something Aaron has a really hard time believing. Convinced Raymond Aguilar is the victim of some bitchy queens who are just jealous-or angry because they can't have him themselves-Aaron takes it upon himself to visit Aguilar's office that afternoon, to tell him what's going on…where a wayward erection, from being so close to the testosterone-oozing slab of machismo, turns Aaron's meeting with Raymond into a new definition of "employee relations."

Warnings: This title contains graphic language, m/m sex, anal sex, and cum swallowing.

Review: Kris Klein keeps them coming…literally. Both the awesome stories and hot men.

Everybody Fucks Raymond…and I feel like I have too. That’s because the story is graphic, detailed, and oh so naughty and vulgar. This super short story has a fun beginning, a risky, and totally kinky middle and pleasantly satisfying ending. Would I expect anything less from Kris? And in true Kris fashion, the sex is raunchy and hot. Damn, but I love the dirty boys.

Who knew a fatal crash could feel so good? Houston Lawton's sons are every woman's dream men: successful, intelligent, rich. There's just one little problem; they can't feel love. A jaded woman might claim that's typical of the breed, but they're not clueless. Cybernetic inhibitors suppress the emotion to stabilize their neuro-processors. They've never lost control...until now.

Review: There is a lot of story packed into a few pages. For this reason and because I didn’t want to miss a thing, I had to read a bit slower. There were a few shaky spots where I wasn’t quite “in” the story, but Ms Lyons quickly amps up the action and brought me right back. The sex is hot but the tease is even hotter.

A chance encounter with a woman who could be his twin sparks a desire to research his murky past...but will Danny go along with it?

Review: Rediscovery gets high marks for lots of hot sex between two hot men. In fact most of the story is dedicated to sex. Yippee for those of us who love our gay sex, raw gritty and every part of the body tasted, probed and explored.

But for this romance reader, the story didn’t reach full potential. I understand that Mychael wanted to draw out the secret between these two characters. But rather than amp up the tension, the lack of information made the dynamics between the two confusing. I would have liked an understanding of what was going on. So holding out the truth of Danny until the end was anticlimactic for me. I did enjoy Nikky’s discovery of his family and the story does end with a happily ever after.

Blurb: Immortal Cravings, Book Two

Bored with her life in Chicago, vampire Dani DuBois heads to Las Vegas for a little fun. Then she meets demons Kaz Elgin and Ty Cole, and things start to get really interesting. Torn between the attraction she feels for each of them, Dani at first has no idea that the two men know each other. When she runs across the two of them having an argument, she can’t believe they’re both being such men, but they’re both so incredibly hot. After they take care of their rogue demon problem, they decide to take care of Dani—together. Through a dungeon sex club and bondage games in a private room, they set out to discover just how much fun three immortals can have in Sin City.

Note: While part of a series, this book can be read as a stand-alone.

Review: Wow, this is a fantastic story. From the first page you just know Dani is on the hunt for hot sex and adventure. Kaz and Ty don’t disappoint. Hotter than hell, these demon lovers know how to put the heat between the sheets. There is a hint of a plot, but it’s all sex—and it’s good curl-the-toes-sex—driving this sizzling tale of lust. Although the character’s development was brilliantly written. These three were emotional with flaws and all had to come to terms with their past to see any possible future. I loved the titillation of a little man on man action thrown in the mix. It made the ménage more inclusive. It wasn’t all about Dani and yet Kaz and Ty wouldn’t have been complete without her or without each other. The story leaves you with a good feeling knowing these three have more passionate explorations in their future. Ms. Pape has a refreshing way with words and descriptions. A great way to heat up your chilly afternoon.

Worried about not leaving a legacy after graduation, Jack plans a fake funeral so he can enjoy the accolades while still alive. Clay can't figure out why he hates the idea so much, until he begins to think it might be because he's accidentally fallen in love his with best friend. Desire fighting against common sense, Clay will do anything it takes--including a date with the class dominatrix, his first visit to an adult toy shop, and a book about the Ins and Outs of sex--to figure out what he wants, who he wants, and, eventually, how to get him.

Review: The title says it all. This book had big laughs, hot men, sexual tension so thick it was suffocating in a most wonderful way. I enjoyed the gradual revelation of awareness between Jack and Clay. I found Jack’s openness to possibilities there all along. The brilliance in the story telling was in how Ms Malone developed Clay’s character. Straight men don’t want to screw their best friends, right? Wrong. I loved this best friend to lovers story. The situation comedy, the eclectic cast of characters and the fun ploy in the plot. Oh and the plot. This is a story to put a smile on your face. The sexual encounter happens at the perfect moment, the emotional components are in place and the graphically described final scene will turn you into liquid warmth. I loved it.

Blurb:For years Lucca and Quade have shared women and enjoyed games of sexual dominance. While she was married, Kiera was off-limits, even in their fantasies. Now that she’s single, guilt and loyalty keep them from acting on their desire.

At twenty-six, Kiera has been a widow for almost as long as she was a wife. Before pain and loss stripped her bare and changed her, she’d never craved the things Lucca and Quade want in the bedroom. Now she does. She knows they love her. But for them to have a future together, she needs to break through their emotional barriers.

Unknown to them, she’s got a plan. And if it works, Quade and Lucca won’t be able to resist her healing seduction.

Note: Set in the Crime Tells world, with brief cameos from Lyric (Lyric’s Cop), and Calista and Benito (Calista’s Men).

Review: There are so many layers to this story. Pain from loss that will rip your heart out. Guilt for desires that for each character’s unique reasons are perceived to be wrong. The longing they feel is palpable. The three characters at the heart of this story need each other but that requires them to go after what they want. Sometimes easier said than done. Thankfully, Kiera is a strong heroine and knows what she wants. With a little manipulation, she can have the relationship she wants.

A complicated storyline into a few pages but that didn't detract from my enjoyment. The sex is hot, the characters likeable and the plot engaging. Emotional and poignant in places, this story was a lovely way to spend part of my afternoon.

Hard Lessons: Studious Tom - resident nerd and social wallflower - has the enviable job of tutoring the college BMOC. Shawn needs to pass his math course in order to continue playing football, but once brain meets brawn the pair ends up studying more anatomy than numbers.

Security: Working late in his lab brings Tyler satisfaction with his career, though it's hell on his personal. Stolen moments ogling Gideon, the building's night guard, helps ease the loneliness, and when Tyler discovers he's being ogled himself he decides it's time for a whole new experiment.

Review: Both of these stories have well crafted characters and plenty of hot sex. Of the two, I loved Hard Lessons. The fear of being discovered in the throes of public passion had me tingling in all the right places. I enjoyed the connection between Tom and Shawn. I found their dialog and responses genuine and engaging.

Tyler and Gideon’s physical reactions were scorching, instant and primal. Love the sexy nerd meets hot man in uniform. My only complaint with Security was in Gideon’s dialog. Tom is so refined, well spoken and intellectual. Gideon’s incomplete sentences started to break the sexy flow of the story. I still enjoyed Security and can easily recommend this duo of short stories to anyone looking for a titillating taste of m/m erotica.

Sweeping her away to Padre Island off the coast of Spain seemed like a clever idea at the time. But how can he protect them both from his uncle's murderous games when Anton's heart falls victim to a woman as full of independence as she is desire.

Review: This story has it all in true melodrama fashion. It is full of intrigues and exciting rescues.
He is a handsome , romantic, fascinating Spanish hero - who has secrets. She is a beautiful, brave heroine who has ambitions.
There is a boatload of "bad guys", from the evil uncle and his henchmen to a handsome stranger.
Some bad guys appear to be good and good guys appear to be bad.
The settings, from New York City to romantic Spain, add to the appeal of the story.
I enjoyed reading this story.

The book cover was eye catching. I really liked the sails on the ship blending up into his collar.
Story was well presented I found only one typo that was humorous. P 185 they stayed "in a brother".

Blurb: Book two in the Saddle Up and Ride series.

Ethan Griggs is quite happy living on Justice River Ranch. He spends his days as head wrangler, tending to the horses he loves and the guests he’s learned to tolerate. When Bridger Collins arrives at the ranch, Griggs’ world is turned upside down. Despite his usual hands-off policy with the guests, he’s immediately drawn to the younger man.

Bridger thrives on the cowboy way of life. The son of one of the richest men in the country, Bridger would rather fix a fence than sit behind a desk counting his money. The sexual chemistry he seems to share with Griggs is simply icing on the cake.

With his week-long stay coming to a close, Bridger is forced to choose between the life he wants with Griggs and the life planned for him since birth.

Review: I enjoyed book one in the Saddle Up and Ride Series. I LOVED book two. Wow, vivid imagery, characters with flaws, yet oh so sexy. The connection between the two was hot. The sex was hot. The story was rife with angst.

From their first meeting, the sexual chemistry sizzled on the page. Griggs isn’t interested in short-term sexual exploits. He wants a man in his life, but only if it means permanence. Bridger has to choose between what is expected of him, or grabbing life by the reins and living out his dreams of being a cowboy. Having it all might mean giving up more than he is ready to lose.

Not too long, but enough to make the story engaging. From the first encounter, butterflies filled my tummy. Yee Haw, I’m ready for the next in this series. Rope me more of some hot, m/m cowboy love!

Can Daveny trust in Collin’s fledgling return to faith? And can Collin ever accept the fact that while he turned his back on God, God never turned his back on him?

Touching. That is one word that can describe this story and just about sum it up.

I love an Inspy or Christian romance that has a good story, wonderful characters and at the end can make you smile because of all the warm fuzzies swimming around in your tummy. The only question now is, just how far can he get these boys to go…not only with another guy, as advertised…

Review: Oh Kris baby, you are quickly becoming my naughty little obsession.

Readers—heed the warnings and be prepared. The Brothers Dim is sinfully naughty in a most delicious way. This story will make you laugh out loud. The narrative is witty and engaging and so apropos. I was charmed by Mark from the start. He is funny, daring, and horny! While he was hedging his bets with hopeful number one, Kyle, I was absolutely sure he was going to find himself entangled with hopeful number two, Chuck. The story doesn’t disappoint. Wow, the encounter between the three is shockingly…hot! I know, (and what you will find out when you read this story) is that Kyle and Chuck are brothers and the scene makes for some brotherly love that will have you cringing (because it’s just so naughty) and squirming (because damn, it’s just so hot).

James and Cecilia both want the plantation, but do they want a long lasting love even more? Battling deceit, betrayal, and disguises, the two must confront their biggest challenge yet.

Review: This story had many twists and turns, the least of which was the heroine dressing as a man. The plot was very romantic with the hero overcoming all odds to win his lady.
He of course is a handsome, well endowed male who rescues her from the perils she faces. I liked him. he had an interesting personality which was described in enough detail to to be attention catching.
I liked her character and personality, but I did not particularly like the physical description given of the heroine. A small, delicate woman, no matter how determined, is not capable of performing the same back-breaking work cutting sugar cane as large men, former slaves, who are accustomed to the work. Especially not in the sweltering heat as described in this story.

I liked the setting in southern Louisiana in a post Civil War time frame. It was very realistic in the details describing the hot, humid weather in hurricane season. I wish the land and the vegetation (particularly old oaks dripping with moss) had been better described. I think those descriptions could have added to the overall atmosphere of this story.

The relationship between the hero and his lady was well developed and very romantic. The secondary characters in the story added a lot of color. The brother, the saloon harlot, and the next-door neighbor all transform into very different people. Some other characters that seemed to be not-so-nice sneaks and bad guys actually were good guys or at least not as bad as I thought when they first appeared in the story.

I liked the ending which happened sooner than I expected. The story could have been extended another twenty or more pages to let the reader know what happened to various supporting characters.

Overall, I thought it was a pretty good story.

Blurb: He’s got the military command…

Army Special Forces Major Blayne Forbes has always desired Jemma Teagan, but knows she’s off limits for a casual relationship. The last thing he wants is involvement with a forever kind of woman.

Jemma’s desire for the diamond-in-the-rough soldier has never faded, and when he tumbles into her arms, the tough guy sends her heart rate into orbit. She doesn’t want to love a man destined for danger, until he challenges her with a display of hardware she can’t resist.

Publisher’s Note: Originally published in the By Honor Bound anthology.

Review: Oh MY God. This book is awesome. I’m smiling, feel good, and holy hello, I’d say I’m horny as hell, but I feel so satisfied, I’m not sure that I didn’t have sex too! I certainly feel the “O” glow radiance. So lets start with the story. Totally grounded and believable. The characters, well, I want to be her and be with him, so yep, they are fully described, three dimensional with emotional flaws. Ms. Agnew does a brilliant job of peeling back the layers with refreshingly smooth dialog and an easy flow to the story. Now the sex. Scorching, make me sweat, make me squirm heat. Coming together for Blayne and Jemma is cathartic. Oh, I’m getting tingly again. Honestly, there isn’t a single thing I’d change about the story. I loved it. Beautifully written, engaging and entertaining and oh yeah, you’ll feel the sexual tension to the tips of your toes.

Blurb: A wickedly sensual feast…

Eden DeCarlo may have narrowly lost Miami’s best chef competition and the prize money she desperately needs, but she has caught the eye of dangerously virile Rafael Zayas, one of the judges and a wealthy restaurateur. Despite her vow not to let any man derail her life, Eden’s captivated by Rafe’s imposing masculinity, then challenged by the business deal he offers. He’ll invest in her new venture if, for one month, she can satisfy his culinary expectations and the sexual attraction they both feel.

Dominant and unashamed, Rafe knows what he wants when it comes to carnal pleasure and will spare no seduction to have Eden in all the ways he demands—naked, wanting, submissive.

Within thirty days, he will teach her the delights of yielding to passion, relinquishing all control to him and fulfilling her deepest, darkest and most delicious desires.

Review: This delicious tale did more than whet my appetite for Rafael Zayas, it made me want to sample the wonderfully described cuisine. Not only were the setting and characters richly portrayed, but I felt the Cuban culture come alive not only in Eden and Rafe, but also Rafe’s family. The catalyst to toss these two together was clever. Eden was so outwardly strong. Beneath the façade, she hid her vulnerability. Rafe stripped her defenses and he stripped off her clothes. And well, for most of the story she isn’t dressed. Oh so fun. Her initial reservations only added to her submission. This story isn’t your typical D/s book. It’s not overt. The submission for Eden is in trusting herself. Emotionally damaged, she doesn’t know how to trust what she feels, or believe in what anyone else might possibly feel for her. It was all so tragic yet beautiful when she finally risks her heart for Rafe. The ending is emotional and for this romance reader, was a tearjerker.

Review: I LOVE a good BDSM story and I have to say that I am torn between what I like better...a character who is just coming into the life or experienced with it I guess it really just depends on how well the story itself is written.
Be that as it may....I really enjoyed this one. I am a sucker for friends to lovers anyway, but throw some good kink in there and WOO HOO!!!! winner for me :)

Enter Kylie Goldheart, looking for a place to belong and hoping the abandoned Tucker’s Plantation will be it. After cracking her noggin by a push from a not-so-friendly ghost, she’s rescued by Gil Baker, Gilmore’s descendent, who has returned to honor his ancestors by reuniting Paradise with her soul mate…if sprinkling her ashes on Gilmore’s grave can be considered an appropriate reunion.

The attraction between Kylie and very sexy Gil is intense, but their instant romance riles the evil lingering among the crumbling ruins of the magnificent old house.

Publisher Note: Previously published elsewhere under the title Tucker’s Paradise, but has been expanded for EC

Review:
A quickie that was worth it :) The instant attraction between the two main characters was hot, heavy and hard to ignore.

The author crafted a good tale with several layers that were each well thought out and presented in a pleasurable package. I liked the weaving of two love stories into one and a happy ending for both.

There was enough "story" that I didn't feel like I was moving from one love scene to another...but when the sex came let me say it was smokin'

Good job Ms Ashford.

Blurb:Crimson Carousel, Book Two
While a stand-alone, A Taste of Midnight is best enjoyed when read in series order.

Brenna Skyler, Mistress Air, chooses ambition over love. To become an Elemental, the most exalted position among the Unseleighe Sidhe, Brenna has to end her scandalous affair with Phillip Noir, a vampire. Although she never stops loving him, she is resolute in her decision, until now. A vampire is preying on Dark Elf females. And it takes a vampire to track a vampire…

Phillip is thrilled when Brenna comes crawling back to him. He’s not used to playing the jilted lover, yet he’s never forgotten the only woman who ever really touched his heart. He doesn’t mind destroying a rogue vampire—it’s the right thing to do—but Brenna needs a lesson in humility. She’ll pay for her callous rejection with her supple body. And they will both enjoy her punishment!

Publisher’s Note: This book was previously published elsewhere and has been revised for Ellora’s Cave.

Reader Advisory: As in A Taste of Twilight, the decadent Faelon, from an upcoming Crimson book, once again provides the needed third when Brenna and Phillip create a powerful blood bond through a sexual ménage.

Review: A Taste of Midnight? Hell no, I’m gluttonous! I want more!! A taste just wasn’t enough. Not enough of the sinfully decadent Phillip. Not enough of Brenna – torn between love and duty. Not enough of the riveting plot or the edge of the seat anticipation of what was coming on the next page. The passion sizzled, but the love. Oh hell, the tortured love between Brenna and Phillip was gut wrenching. If you want to read a book that will pull you in, hold you hostage and leave you breathless with the erotic love scenes, then A Taste of Midnight should be on your must read list. Vampires, Elementals, and intrigue. Ms. Ross, you had me from the first page to the last.

Enjoying erotic dreams of both Keir and Zarod, not knowing they’re a committed couple, Melana suggests the only sane solution in an insane world—a ménage. They may never leave this planet and what’s a life without love—or sex?

If she can accept that lady makes three, she’ll find true paradise in her lovers’ arms.

Publisher’s Note: Originally published in the And Lady Makes Three anthology.

Review:The opening scenes in Pirate’s Booty will make your heart pound while making you chuckle over Melena’s indignant and arrogant attitude at being kidnapped. And when her captors crash land her on an uninhabited planet, her attitude doesn’t initially improve. But after that point the story becomes a little fuzzy on plot and sexual tension. This story is categorized in the Spectrum line at Ellora’s Cave. I did not feel a strong connection between Keir and Zarod. Nor was there an intense sexual connection shown to the reader. It was stated but not felt. I did however, love the blossoming of feelings between Keir and Melena and less explicitly shown, Zarod and Melena. The ending of the story is sweet and yet poignant. The growth of all three characters is what sets this story apart. I enjoyed the conclusion and love that Melena, Zarod and Keir will live on in the annals of lovers living happily ever after in an unconventional relationship.

Blurb: Dax and Clay are happy. The sex is great. They’ve been in a committed, fulfilling relationship for years and see no need to change anything. Until they realize they’ve become a little too comfortable. They’ve fallen into a rut and need something to nudge them out of it.

And then tall, raven-haired, exotic Sidney stumbles back into their lives.

Fresh out of a painful divorce, she needs some comfort and excitement. When she seeks out her two best college buddies, she gets far more than she bargained for. In fact, they all do.

Note: Originally published in the And Lady Makes Three anthology.

Review: This story had me giggling on the first page and from there I quickly fell in love with Dax and Clay. Sidney carries some baggage from her broken marriage but she’s more than ready to dump the baggage for a chance at passion with Dax and Clay. The characters are distinct and the premise for the ménage is initially flirtatious but quickly produces strong emotions. Dax and Clay were perfectly delicious. I had a good grasp of who they were, where they came from and what they needed from each other and Sidney. But there were a few stumbles along the way. At times Sidney is a bit contradictory. She’s outspoken and feisty, yet runs away. I thought her expectations from Dax and Clay at the onset were a bit unrealistic. These three hadn’t seen or spoken to each other in years, yet she expects to know they were involved. Her explanation for running away was also a bit weak. But moving over the bumps was easy because the writing is smooth and the sex is hot. A few unfortunate scenes do not spoil this tale.

Imprisoned in the lamp, Amante is forced to exist as a genie until his soul mate, "the one," can break the curse. Is Christine the one, or has Amante made a mistake that could destroy him?

Review: My Fair Genie has a really great premise. The characters had flavor and the story is ripe with potential. At times the sex is fun and flirty and others the encounters are dark, mysterious and blazing hot. But I did have some issues with the story. It seemed like some of the scene had absolutely nothing to do with the story. With such a short work, I would expect the plot to be tight. Drop me into the heart of the action and then propel me along on a great Urban Fantasy story. There were several characters introduced, the only main one (outside of Christine and Amante) is Shaun, but as quickly as he’s dropped in, he out and his character is never resolved.

All together, there are parts of this story that are very enjoyable --even some scenes that didn’t really matter much to the story were still fun to read.

Publisher’s Note: Originally published in the By Honor Bound anthology.

Review:Reading His Sister’s Kiss I was transported back in time. The emotion choked my throat, brought tears to my eyes and made me ache remembering the turbulent Vietnam era. The story unfolds beautifully. Normally I don’t believe in love at first meeting, but in this case it worked. Both Abe and Angela desperately need someone to hold onto. Angela lost her Marino Corps brother in Vietnam. Abraham survived. With Angela, he can find a reason to live outside of the military. A wonderful story, brilliantly written. The sex is passionate but not overly graphic. The tummy tugs come from the emotional response of the characters consummating their love, not from the actual words written on the page. This story has a sexy, heroic Marine who’s been through hell, and a women who will give him heaven.

Childhood friend Shar has three days to save the love of her life, Errol, from certain death. When Errol and Simon approach Shar with a way to do that, she must rebel against her clan, her brother, and her entire way of life.

Will she be willing to do the unthinkable and embrace this love at all costs?

Review: I had a good feeling and a smile on my face while reading this story. I saw Shar as sort of a Wonder Woman character. Wonder woman lives on Paradise Island and men are inferior, Ms. Blues’s world also sees men similarly. Instead of a lasso and bracelets, there are crystals and powers. And while I make these comparisons, A Rebel Among Goddesses is still a unique and intriguing story.

I found the sexual relationship between Errol and Simon touching and worth fighting for—oh yeah and hot! There were many characters introduced in this short story and I have to say there were times when that was a bit confusing but the story quickly goes back to the primary characters and the flow is smooth again. There are stirring moments, ripe with misunderstanding that amp up the tension between the characters. This also significantly contributed to the connection that simmers between them. You could feel Errol’s confusion, Simon’s fear for Errol’s safety and Shar’s fear of rejection. They all have so much to lose and yet, if they risk there is so much to gain. Can they have a future together or be shunned or worse dead? You’ll have to read the story and find out.

Amelia is content to go along with Arnold, until the day Ben arrives in her life and suddenly she realizes that nothing can replace passion and love. But if she leaves Arnold, she’ll owe him a quarter of a million dollars, and suddenly true love is looking like something she’ll never attain.

Review: I have just finished this title and now it's time to give my review....Lets just say that there were many levels to this story :)
I laughed so hard in spots that I thought I was going to wet my pants! Some of the things Ben does, and gets himself into are just too funny for words. With only a couple spots that slowed to a crawl in this story the rest was paced well, with a GREAT dose of humor thrown in.
Amelia is the kind of woman that I really felt for. Her sense of duty and desire to follow her dreams war with each other. Thank goodness for Ben Dover. Yep you read that right! Just one of the many laugh out loud moments from the story.
Good job Ms Winston. If this is any indication of your writing style, I plan on keeping my eyes open for your name in the future :) Any author who can make me laugh that hard deserves a *SNAP*

Blurb:I had the worst crush on Mikey Pierce's dad. As excited as I was to graduate high school and go away to college, what I looked forward to more was returning home a grown man who might fit in with the guys Mr. Pierce invited over for poker at his place. Whenever I spent the night at Mikey's, I always wanted to join in their game.

The week before leaving for college, I stayed at Mikey's one last time. While Mr. Pierce and his buddies gambled, Mikey and I stole a couple of beers and watched movies upstairs. By the time it was my turn to sneak downstairs to get more drinks, the card game was over and I thought all the visitors had left.

But Mr. Pierce was in the dining room. He wasn't alone. The man in there with him owed Mr. Pierce a couple hundred bucks from playing cards, and I had a ring-side seat as he paid up.

Warnings: This title contains graphic language, male masturbation, voyeurism, and gay sex (oral and anal).

Review: Oh what a treat Me Best Friend’s Dad is to the voyeur in all of us. Great characters, hot, tummy tugging anticipation and just the right amount of follow through. I had vivid descriptions and insight to the development of the characters, a fun storyline, and an ending that left a smile on my face.

However, I have to warn you. As much as I loved My Best Friend's Dad, my enjoyment didn’t begin until after the first ten pages. In fact if I had scored the book after the first ten pages, the book would have gotten a much higher mark for story. I found the details in the first ten pages more than disturbing. I prefer not to read characters, even characters remembering their first love, not to be in kindergarten fantasizing about their classmate’s dad. To sexualize a six-year old is inappropriate and not sexually appealing. J.M. just about killed the story for me and I wasn’t sure I wanted to continue.

However, I did continue on with the story, (not just because I am reading, knowing that I will offer a review, but because this is not my first story from J.M Snyder and I have enjoyed past works) So I read on, not really sure if I could find redeeming storytelling after the rough start. But the story does become fun, hot and deliciously naughty. So breeze through the beginning and get to the heart of the story where not only was the story redeemed, but I felt each breath, each flair of arousal and the ache of wanting the unattainable.

Sorin thought sanctuary was the answer to their problems. Terra with its plentiful creatures, full of fresh blood and off limits to the millennia-long war with the Angellum—who wouldn’t think it paradise? Except paradise comes at a high price. Claiming a bounty on a renegade angel hasn’t ended up the way he planned at all.

Teo loves his ship, his life in space, but he loves Sorin more. The plan seemed sound, but the bounty is a fraud and now the price is on him and Sorin. He’ll make the best of the rest of his life with Sorin, even if it’s only for a few weeks.

But when hope appears from an unexpected source, both men grab chance by her wings.

Review: All of the reasons I love Shayla are in this story. Hot men, hot Sex, a banging opening and an action packed ending. The story opens with heart pounding action, true space opera fashion. Weapons, a chase, intergalactic intrigue. The writing, the way Ms. Kersten strings words together, is wonderful. The characters are vividly described and the sex is so hot, it’ smoking. However, as quickly as I was swept into the story, I soon found myself wondering where the story was going. I felt adrift in space. I was reading, things were happening, but nothing seemed to come to a conclusion. The angel never really had a part in the story and the connection to Sorin was never explored. In the end, the story does become exciting again, but by then I’d lost interest.

Review:When I read the blurb for this one I was excited. It really sounded good. Unfortunately for me it just didn't follow through as much as I would have liked.

Parts of the story just didn't make much sense and I had a hard time staying focused while reading it. I must say though that there were moments of brilliance here and there, but not enough to make up for the mute color of the rest of the story.

For me the best came toward the end. It was fast paced and action packed. I wish the middle had been more like the beginning and the end. I have read other works by this author and must say that though this one may not be her best work in my opinion, I still plan to read more by her

Blurb: After five boyfriends in two years, twenty-year-old blonde boy-toy Michael has indeed learned that he's looking for love in all the wrong places. All he wants is a true, honest, and monogamous boyfriend-something, he complains to Benji one sunny afternoon as they eat lunch in a Mexican restaurant, that seems impossible among guys his own age. Even Manuelo, their spicy, well-built young waiter at the lunch, is juicy enough to put on the menu…but Michael's having none of it. A side trip to the john brings Michael in touch, however, with a man over his twice his age, who's cooking in the restaurant kitchen-a slab of Latin beefcake with handsome, finely-chiseled features and the physique of a world-class bodybuilder. When Michael learns that the forty-eight-year-old god, Rudolfo, is Manuelo's father (and the restaurant owner) Michael concocts a plan to seduce the straight (and very married) Latin stud later that night, after the restaurant is closed…if for no other reason than to prove to himself that a real man can indeed satisfy, in ways the "boys" he's been seeing lately have been sorely lacking.

Warnings: This title contains graphic language, m/m sex, coercion, and "daddy-son" role-play (not biologically) sex.

Review: From Boys to Men is told in first person and brings intimacy to the story. I felt like a voyeur peeking in on Micheal and Rudolfo. The sex is raw and primal. This isn’t love, or even the potential of a relationship. Don’t be disturbed by the warning with the blurb. The daddy role was hardly the most disturbing aspect of the story. It’s naughty, gritty and just a bit deviant—just the way I love it!

Review: Though this was not really what I would consider a romance, I have to say that it was a very cute story. We get a look at two couples and the things they do for the men they love.

There were some parts in this that were laugh out loud funny. I could picture the looks on the mom's face so vividly and it was a hoot!!!
Great job to the author. Very well done :)

Blurb: Fed up with her so-so sex life, Sadie Walker seeks out the services of By Request Inc., a business that specializes in custom sexual experiences. She expected a good time with a handsome man, a willing partner who’d follow her lead and do whatever she asked him to.

When the roughneck who’s been hired to take her on wrestles her down and demands that she submit to both him and his hired hand, Sadie realizes that unleashing her sexual side is a two-man job. She knows her afternoon in the barn is a one-time fling, so she’s ready to take all she can from her roll in the hay.

Review: Smokin', sexy and oh-so delicious :) what a read all wrapped up in a neat little package.

This is the perfect example of what Exotika should be. Great characters, enough plot to make the story flow and burn me up love. Ms Drake has done a fantastic job creating a tale that kept me pulled in and made my mouth water with want for a taste ;)

I look forward to reading more from this author. If this story is any clue as to what can be expected all I can say is WOO HOO!!!! look out ladies, you may need a new pack of batteries!
