Review: When I saw this one come through my inbox and I read the blurb I immediately requested it. The blurb really pulled at me and tempted. Then I got it and began to read. *sigh* I wish that they story had been as good as the blurb.

From the beginning I just didn’t feel connected. The use of hyphenated descriptions, the non use of protection, the copious amounts of wetness. The sex gave me no tingles or tugs. The characters didn’t reach out to me no matter how much I wanted to connect with them, and the story just didn’t grab like I had hoped.

I have read other works by this author and really enjoyed them. For some reason this one just didn’t stick for me.

Review: The emotions in this story are so palatable I could almost taste them.  WOW! Ms Matthews did a wonderful job of capturing the rawness of love, loss and figuring out what you really want. How do you know when it's time to move on? What will people say when you do?

This emotion filled quickie is overflowing with everything it needed to make a really vibrant story for all the senses and emotions. I am impressed and have to say that I will be looking for more from Ms Matthews very soon :)

Review: You know, there are times when you start reading a book and for some reason things just feel right. The hero is sexy, and irresistible. The heroine is likable but has reservations about the development of a relationship. The super stud is going to do his damnedest to change her mind...And somewhere along the way you find yourself smiling for no apparent reason. Maybe it's because the story is just one of those that you like.

That is how I felt about this one. I just couldn't help but fall for the characters in the first few scenes. Ms Matthews, you have done a great job crafting a sexy, sensual tale that kept me warn. :)

Review: EC's Exotika is always super hot. Rocking women's erotica that can be kinky, dirty, smoking and always hot!!! This title is no exception to that rule.


Complete with good characters, smooth writing and burn up the pages sex I was impressed with this title. I did however hit a snag. But the snag was only a single paragraph late in the story. I re-read the story before I began the review just to see if the spot would hit me just as hard the second time around, sometimes once you know something is there it is easier to take on the second try. Alas, I still wrinkled my nose and squeezed my eyes shut. I just don't find the scooping and feeding of his and hers commingled juices sexually titillating.


That being said, I do want to stress that I still enjoyed the story over all and would recommend the read with a slight disclaimer about a tiny icky spot toward the end.
