Blurb: From the moment he set eyes upon the beautiful Regina, Draven McCormick wanted her for his own, preferably in his bed. He never dreamed her husband would gamble her away. Draven hasn’t made The Southern Belle into the most well-loved gambling establishment in Galveston in 1887 because he let chances pass him by.

Regina’s learned most men lie, but Draven commands her trust as he awakens her passion. She’d lost all hope until the night her husband lost a card game to the gambler, who instructed her in the art of pleasure. And for the pleasure Draven offers her, she’d give almost anything.

Publisher’s Note: This story was previously published elsewhere.

Review: Yeah, *sigh* it was good :)

I am a sucker for historical westerns anyway but this little quickie just rocks!  I really felt the emotion for Regina. I mean Hell, what would you do if your hubby, whom you married thinking would be a man you could depend on, gambled you in a card game? What an ASS!  But Draven, oh hot sexy man, he totally scored with his sexy-ness and his intent toward Regina. made for a really good story. One that was not only written well, but though out and delivered in a way that worked.

*SNAPS* Ms Blackwell on a job well done :)

Blurb: Lilly has been in love with her brother’s best friend Blake for years. She lost her virginity to the oil driller on her eighteenth birthday, only to wake the next morning to find him gone. After he pulled that stunt twice more, she swore never to see or talk to him again. But now he’s back for her brother’s wedding, and he’s as irresistible as she remembers.

Blake thinks Lilly’s even sexier than ever. Unable to resist one another, they don’t make it out of the airport parking lot before taking up where they left off. As the two rediscover their passion for each other, nothing and nowhere is off-limits!

Review: Oh Ms Richards, this is a prefect example of why I love your work :)

Witty, quirky, sassy :) SEXY! I was captivated from the first page and when I reached the end I sighed and found that I was ready to....do it again ;) Even though this was a quickie, it was packed with emotion and wall banging sex.

This is just another notch in the belt of one of my must read authors :)  I am not sure I will ever get bored with her style :)

Her father was murdered by an unknown killer. Now Leah Morgan, the half-Comanche daughter of the owner of White Eagle Ranch, is faced with his unsolved murder, as well as two illegitimate half brothers who have each been left a share of the ranch. If not for Shane Duffy, the hot-looking, hot-blooded veterinarian, she’d be falling apart completely.

As she fights to retain control of the ranch and considers her heritage, Leah finds comfort in long nights of sweaty sex with Shane. And then there’s Grant Fallon, the geologist who wants to show Leah he can bring her more screaming orgasms than the hunky vet if she’ll just give him a chance.

But someone has an ulterior motive. Is it Shane? Grant? One of her half brothers? Leah might find the answer…if she’s not too busy chasing away the shadows in the arms of her lover.

Review: As an avid reader of Ms Holt's work I knew I had to snap this one up :)

Filled with hot sex, mystery and intrigue, this fast paced story is action packed. Not only with a who-done-it but with typical Ms Holt smokin sex :) Though I found myself a little bothered by some of the actions displayed by the heroine in the beginning, I was able to enjoy the story and find her as a like able character before it was too late :)

This is a story that you just don't want to miss if you like sex, action, sex, mystery...did I say sex? YEAH BABY!!

Blurb: For one wicked night . . . .

Benedict Abernathy, an untitled and wealthy gentleman visiting London, is heartily sick of his celibate existence. Determined to leave his shattered heart behind and move on with his life, he accepts an invitation for a night of debauchery in the arms of London’s infamous courtesan, Lottie Townsend.

. . . . she will indulge his every desire.

Lady Charlotte Goodchild has fallen far from privilege and longs for one night of pleasure with the man she loves. But Benedict must be spared the truth of her ruin at all costs. Posing as Lottie Townsend, a notoriously discriminating courtesan and old friend, she disguises her identity and invites Benedict to share the night of passion that fate denied them.

Review: I enjoyed reading One Wicked Night. For a novella, Ms. Boyd does a wonderful job of capturing the flavor of the era. There is a nice set up with a hint of mystery. You know something isn’t quite right but the story is revealed slowly. The anticipation is there but you aren’t sure exactly what you’re hoping to see happen. What does happen is some incredibly erotic sex, some past danger and the danger of discovery. Charlotte and Benedict are memorable and endearing. The ending is just what you’ll hope for but you’ll have to read One Wicked Night to see for yourself.

Blurb: Lacey was pretty happy with her current leisure existence despite the few complaints here and there. Living on her own rocked her socks. However, while coming home from work one night and based on sheer awful luck, she witnessed a disturbing attack on a young and rather eye-catching youth. Thinking the worse was over she continued to go about her daily business. That is, until the boy she saw sprawled out on the bloody street shows up pressed against her balcony window. Obviously something is wrong. This boy should be dead. He is dead. So why then is he stalking her, in the nude? Does he want to start his own army of creatures of the night or does he feel some kind of enticement to her that is unexplainable? Lacey will soon come to find that not all legendary stories are true, when it comes to being involved with a Vampire.

Review: Ms Keitt has done a wonderful job at penning an intriguing paranormal that kept me from the start.

Without a doubt this is one of the best vapire stories I have read in awhile...and I have read a few :) The characters and story line were well though out and the imagery was vivid. I totally enjoyed this tasty treat :) Time and again I found myself on the edge of my seat, waiting, anticipaiting what was going to happen next. WHEW!!!

Blurb: After the death of his parents in New York, Chris Michaels has to do a lot of growing up in a short period of time. But nothing prepares him for the harsh life of a cowboy and making a way for himself in the Wild West.

Troy Barrow knows what it’s like to be on his own and recognizes a kindred spirit in the battered and bruised Chris who stumbles into his saloon out of a drenching rain. When Chris is threatened by a drunken patron, Troy does what comes naturally to defend the young man. But has he just put his own freedom in jeopardy revealing his gunslinger’s past?

Former slave, Buffalo soldier, now duly-appointed lawman, James Hayden wants nothing more than to find someone to love and settle down with. But nothing has ever come easily for James and he knows winning the affections of Chris and Troy will be no different.

Review: Saddle up for a wild ride. Not only was Three Men and a Bounty a wonderfully erotic western story, but the emotional connection between the three men was palpable. Chris is the centerpiece of the story but that isn’t to say that the unfurling of trust and love between James and Troy wasn’t just as captivating. The action is nonstop and the locations never get boring. The dialog set the tone and atmosphere. But I thought was most wonderful about the story was how deeply the author delved into each character. I didn’t have to guess on what they were thinking, or feeling or why they were behaving the way they did. There are plenty of interesting people along the way. Some only had small parts within the story but still added flavor to the scenes. Oh, I have to mention the sex scenes. Toe curling, mouth watering man on man…on man action a plenty.

There were also some unexpected twists within the story, paranormal elements that blended beautifully with the historical feel. And of course, no western would be complete without a villain lurking in the darkness, waiting to foil our three heroes.

Troy, James and Chris all have secrets…and secret desires. As they learned to trust and then love each other maybe they can forge a relationship none believed possible. Three Men and a Bounty was a great story. It’s a book you can’t put down!

Blurb: Dean was a vampire hunter who caught the eye of the master of the local kiss. He hates what he has become and the terrible realisation that he might need his nameless Master and what he offers, permanence.

Warnings: This title contains graphic m/m sex with a bdsm twist.

Review: While I loved the premise of the story and I connected to Dean, I didn’t jibe with the way the story was written. Rapid scene changes left me hanging. I had a hard time knowing how much time was passing and the setting wasn’t described enough to anchor me into the scene. However, I was entrenched in Dean’s head and this was his story. I did love the intimacy of his emotional connection to the vampire.

I wish the sex scenes hadn’t been so abrupt. There were moments when the story simmered but never reached a boil. I didn’t feel it, but I think this happened because the story is told in present tense. All that said, I still liked and enjoyed the story. I loved the struggle for control and the power Dean has in submission.

This story had great potential and delivered on some aspects.

Blurb: What Fran Jamison and Jack Gerrard have in common, you could balance on the head of a pin. And to make things worse, Jack blew his chances to hell back in High School with the BBW.

Neither goes to their 10th college reunion expecting sparks to fly, but when they collide in the airport, painful old memories quickly evaporate to make way for two people desperately needing to scratch 12-year-old itches.

Jack royally blew it when he let other people's opinions stop him from pursuing the 5'11" bombshell so many years back, and by the time he realized he was a jackass and tried to apologize, a traumatized and hurt Fran had shredded his ego in public, leaving him to lick his wounds and move on.

She thought she would hate him on sight. She didn't. She thought she could walk away. She couldn't. She certainly didn't expect to find herself making out like a madwoman on the hood of a borrowed car in the airport parking ramp. But she did expect one thing...she was not going to walk away again. Not when he was so damn good at scratching those itches...

Review: Have you ever wondered what could have been with that guy? You know the one, the one you just can't seen to stop thinking about no matter how much time has passed?

I enjoy a good second chance story. Always have. They story was well written, hot (in true Fran Lee style) and meaningful. two characters overcome bumps along the way and insecurities to find their way to satisfaction in the end.

I bought the story and the situations, the conflict and the resolution, but at times I didn't really believe it. But as a whole, it was a good read and I would recommend it.

Review: Well, the blurb is correct, this one has something for everyone :)

While the majority of the stories are same sex, there are two bisexual and three heterosexual tales included in this twelve story collection. All short and to the point and that is something I love when reading a short story collection or erotica. Don't beat around the...bush...get straight to the...meat :)  LOL sorry, couldn't resist ;)

Together this makes for a well rounded collection of reading. Some I liked better than others, but as a whole I fell the author put together a group that really does cover it all. NICE!!

Blurb: Cara is a lovely woman with a slightly embarrassing weakness: the thought of being bound and mercilessly tickled terrifies her, yet also arouses her like nothing else in the world. Her dominant lover Brion is well aware of her secret and exploits it through delicious mind-games and torturous bondage/tickling sessions. One day lunch with a friend leads Cara to a forbidden indulgence; she knows her punishment will be severe, and spends the afternoon barefoot in penance. The pleasures of a day without shoes is a feast for a sensual girl like Cara, but Brion is waiting at home with his bonds and tickle-tools. Before he's done, poor Cara will be singing arias of laughter and passion, begging her lover for a release no feather could provide…

Warnings: This title contains some graphic language, male dominance, bare feet and intense tickling!

Review: Laugh for Me was a little all over the place for me. The setup didn’t really have a purpose. Cara hears a woman laughing in a restaurant but we never do find out why. Not really a bad thing except a lot of the story takes place in the restaurant and this laugh is the foundation for the story. The blurb talks about a forbidden indulgence and a punishment for that indulgence. A little bit of a spoiler here. It’s a cigarette, which makes her take off her shoes and walk around barefoot. I guess I just didn’t know where the author was coming from or where I was supposed to go with this story. I didn’t find it arousing and the tickling fetish was lost in the non-consequential clutter of the story.

Presentation score is low for numerous formatting issues. The cover is great.

Blurb: An affair is always easy in the beginning. There's plenty of steamy sex and getting-to-know-you. Everything is for now. Immediate gratification. No thought of the future.

That's how it starts for Audrey and Lawrence. Audrey's only concern is helping an unhappy man trapped in a sexless marriage revive the virility of his youth. That approach doesn't last long. As her affection builds, she wants more than she can have, and more than Lawrence is willing to give.

Over the course of twelve breathless stories, Giselle Renarde's famous femme fatale tips from the lofty realm of youthful adoration into the dark pit of jealous love. Will her behaviour get out of hand when the affair grows beyond her heart's control?

This complete collection includes all twelve Audrey & Lawrence stories, many of which make their premiere appearances in this special compilation. Contains the stories:

Kiss the Cook
Sweet Tooth
The Maelstrom
Questions of Ultimate Concern
Mistress Audrey
Nuit Blanche
Marry Me
Burgundy Ropes and Voltaire
The Burden of Knowing
Breaking Up from Behind
Running in Circles
Shoot Niagara

Warnings: This title contains graphic descriptions of sex, graphic language, anal sex, sex toys, bondage and domination.

Review: Okay, so all in all, in an odd sort of way, I liked this collection. Though for me it was more like one story than a bunch of small ones.

At times, I wanted ti slap the snot out of Audrey for the "I love you, I hate you. Leave. No, Stay!" BUT, their relationship, as adulterous as it was, lasted for years. She LOVED Lawrence. I totally got that. I felt bad for her when Lawrence would dangle "hope" in front of her only to snatch it back and basically say "never mind" and as tumultuous as their relationship was at times, I still enjoyed the journey with them.

It's interesting and enjoyable to be able to watch a character grow. I believe Ms Renarde captured TRUE emotions that can surface in this type of relationship and I applaud her for her ability :)

Be advised that some of the sexual language and descriptions are a bit crass, but not over used. There were a few times when I wondered if a French to English dictionary would have been helpful so I could have understood everything Audrey said, but those spots were not really in conversation but usually during the throes of passion or fits of anger. ;) Even without a dictionary I think I can get the gist of what she was saying ;)

Giving up a night out on the town with the guys is an easy sacrifice, but JT is determined to find out one way or another if the sexual tension he senses in Jacob Cordero is all in his mind. Keeping secrets in a bunkhouse is almost impossible, especially when an accident on an unbroken horse lands him right where he wants to be…in Jacob’s bed.

Review: Hot cowboys, hot sex, and a promise of more encounters to come. What more could you want from a short story. Kissing Cowboys is short on plot…who cares? A glimpse of potential, the tease of anticipation and the follow through of two virile cowboys taking a roll in the hay (well in this case a bed) but still, not men and hot sex make a great story. Kissing Cowboys was a great way to spend a few minutes of my day.

Kissing Cowboys is a good story, worth reading and recommending. It’s a story you don’t want to put down.

When the younger man suggests a private shaving session, Sam finds herself under his spell once again in this modern, sexy and delightfully reversed Samson and Delilah.

Warnings: This title contains graphic language and interracial sex.

Review: oh what a fun little fetish story. Like any great story written to titillate, there is risk and reward. I found it hilarious that Del lived at home and worried about his mom catching him with a woman. He isn’t a typical hero, in fact he rides the edge of “hero.” Sam has insecurities about her age and yet he makes her feel sexy and beautiful. Even if she wanted more from him than great sex, she really isn’t in that place in her life. Del is her lover, but can’t offer much more. Shorn is a glimpse into one of their erotic encounters. It was lots of hot sex and the writing was flawless. I loved the vivid descriptions. With Ms. Kitt I can get into a story and forget I’m reading.

Blurb: Bondage is not journalist Carl Guttuso's thing. He has no need to tie a man up or beat the crap out of him and call it sexy. No one is doing that to him either-or so he thought. During an interview, the charismatic BDSM Dom, James Pauly, asks Carl to be his submissive lover to learn about the lifestyle from within and Carl agrees to a six-week contract.

James has not been romantically involved since his last sub left when James refused to whip him beyond what was safe. In Carl, he sees a second chance to connect with a man who wants more than the pain James can give him. He recognizes the sexual interest in Carl's eyes and thinks the handsome young reporter will be perfect.

Carl is surprised by the desire he feels for a man who admits to subjugating his lovers, but the intensity of the games they play becomes addictive and Carl wants more much more. James, dismayed by yet another sub's demands for pain, refuses to be rushed. He hopes to keep Carl past their contract, but it may be all he can do to keep him for the six weeks.

For both men, the arrangement becomes a journey of self-discovery that could tear them apart in spite of their growing attraction.
Warnings: This title contains graphic language, m/m sexual practices, anal sex, bondage, and whip play.

Review: Can you hear my heart pounding? A tremble has built in my belly and it’s all because of the addictive words on the pages of New Leather. I devoured the words, the emotions, the powerful of James and the needs of Carl. I didn’t cry while reading New Leather but I could cry writing this review. There is a bond between Carl and James from the very beginning but both have fears of revealing too much. Carl is eager to learn, eager to please, but doesn’t fully understand his role with James. James on the other hand understands his role perfectly. Only with Carl he wonders if he can maintain the control.

For those who love BDSM stories this is a must read. For those who, for whatever reason, haven’t sampled the dark decadence of something often misunderstood, this is a story to initiate you into the world. There is bondage, discipline, and yes, even a little pain.

And as for the sexual content of the story. My god, like Carl (because of the flogging, whipping, and spankings) the pages burned…they sizzled. I felt the heat, felt every delicious ache. I love the eroticism of sex between men. I loved the power with the passion. New Leather doesn’t disappoint on any level. I’m hooked and Ms. Varva has found a new fan.

Blurb: Sometimes even a hero needs someone to save him.

Mark Connor doesn't feel like a hero even though he served two tours in Vietnam and survived a vicious ambush that took the lives of all but a handful of men. But he lost his best friend and lover, and now he refuses to be close to anyone. That makes his instant attraction to Josh a real problem.

Josh Myers hires on with Mark to help him with a remodeling job. A survivor himself of a Beirut bombing, he embraces life with open arms. But he can't get his new flame to take an interest in love, in life, or in himself.

Alone in the northern Outer Banks in January, Mark clings desperately to his past, even as Josh offers him a future he doesn't think he deserves.

Review: Wow, what can I say, I loved this story. Mark is broken. He exists but hasn’t lived in forty years. He carries with him emotional baggage and masks his pain with alcohol. He’s abrasive and inconsiderate but Josh sees beneath the gruff exterior to the man. Josh has endured some of the same war stress as Mark. Only he’s been able to laugh through his pain. He’s charming and sexy and he desperately wants to get through to Mark. Maybe there could be something special between them.

From the opening pages, the sexual tension simmers on the page. However, this story, while erotic in tone, isn’t overly graphic. There are moments where the writing is poignant and emotional. My heart would break and then I’d hope that either Mark or Josh would make a move only to watch Mark pull away. It’s crushing. By the end of the story, I was in tears. I felt every gut-wrenching emotion.

However, there were a few bumps along the way for me which is why the score is slightly lower. In the opening scene together, Josh declares his status and Mark begins to call him cupcake in a derogatory type of way. They don’t know each other enough for it to be friendly bantering. I thought this was over the top for two people who just met. Immediately the “endearments” are used repeatedly in dialog and they became distracting. Dogface, Jarhead, cupcake became like reading speed bumps. I understood that Mark was an alcoholic, however with the copious amounts of beer consumed, I don’t see how he could be functioning. He’s taken on a huge project of remodeling a home, yet, he’s destructive to the home. Also Mark has been celibate for almost 40 years and that seems a bit over the top as well. Even with these minor blips, the story is still solid. The writing is good and I would have loved the story to continue. This is one worth reading and reading again.

Blurb: Tony never expected Halloween to turn out like this.

Tony, a former football jock--married to his high school cheerleader sweetheart for almost ten years--is spending Halloween with his best friend Scott while his wife is out of town in Seattle. The two buddies--best friends since the fourth grade--plan to spend the night eating pizza, drinking beer, and watching Scottie's bootleg DVD horror films. But when Tony borrows a handful of films from Scott's apartment and finds a hardcore gay porn flick in one of the Freddy Krueger cases, it's all he can do to contain his anger, his sense of betrayal, his shattered trust in his best friend... Or the hard-on that the film is giving him. His attraction to male-male sex sends him overboard with guilt and anger. But that's nothing compared to his growing realization that he might also be sexually attracted to his best friend and that maybe he married the wrong sweetheart from high school.

Review: I was shocked, aroused, concerned, and breathless. There were no peaks and valleys for me. The emotional journey just intensified. I was pulled deeper and deeper into the story until I was freefalling with Tony and Scott. Their tumble into love wasn’t easy. I felt Tony’s fear as he slowly accepted his desire for Scott. I didn’t have to imagine anything. Each heart-pounding moment was on the page for me to devour. Because Tony tells the story, I ached with him, then cried and finally cheered. Oh this is one of those stories that makes you hold your breath while reading. Hard, male sex leaves you wet and conflicted emotions unsettle your gut. The passion between Tony and Scott is palpable. A Wet Dream on Elm Street is unpredictable and impossible to put down. I had to keep scrolling the pages because the characters had depth and emotions. Kris Klein tackled a sensitive subject with a married man coming to terms with his desires and decisions of the past. The ending is perfect…but you know I can’t give it away. Blurb: When a novice Fairy Godmother accidentally drops some sexed-up Happily Ever After Fairy Dust on Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Marvin—second-in-command in Fairy Tale Land—jumps in to save the tale.

Taking over for Goldilocks should be simple, right? All he has to do is eat the porridge, sit on the chair and sleep in the bed. And when the Three Bears return home, run screaming from the house.

But the Fairy Dust has changed things…including the Three Bears. They’ve turned human. Baby Bear is no baby. Mama Bear wears black leather and wields a wicked paddle. And Papa Bear? Oh my…he’s going to make sure Marvin pays for the damage he’s done, inch by luscious inch.

Review: A fairy tale for adults. Marvin and the Three Bears was a delightful read. I think what I liked the best was the distinctness of each character. The story could have been written without names and you’d still know who was speaking because their personalities were so unique. I though Lissa (mama bear) was hilarious. She was the disciplinarian and wielded her paddle with power and determination. Jeremy (baby bear) oozed mischief. There was a naughty innocence to his character. In a word charming. And Alex was the brooding papa bear. Strong, powerful, dominant. He’s hot and the romance elements of the story revolve around him and Goldilocks--Marvin. Marvin is quirky and yet understands the power of a fairy tale. Imagine his delight when he becomes the star. Marvin as Goldilocks, trying to rescue the story from an accidental dousing of sex was a clever twist to the classic tale. I also loved the m/m action. The sex scenes are hot and it was nice to see each encounter have a new spin. This is a story that I’ll tuck away on my keeper shelf to read again when I’m in the mood for a fun yet feisty tale.

Sometimes it takes every ounce of strength you possess to convince the one you love that no matter what, you are still the man you were, all man, and nothing less.

Review: What I loved – the attention to detail, the vivid descriptions, the wonderful characters and the highs and lows of the story. There wasn’t a slow point or a boring moment. Fresh dialog and great action. The story in engrossing and each chapter adds another layer to this complicated…yet at the core of who they are, a simple couple.

What could be hard about meeting a man you’re attracted to and acting on those desires? (okay there are several hot hard scenes. The sex was smoking’) In the case of Chase and Gary, plenty of hurdles lie in the path to their happily ever after. Job, family, friends, a past for each of them, and personal fears. All these elements are present but blend perfectly for a story rife with tension, both sexual and in regards to the plot and the development of their relationship.

There were aspects that were drawn out perfectly, like while Chase is waiting for word from Gary in Iraq and issues surrounding Gary’s family and his fear of living openly. Love for Gary and Chase is practically instantaneous. And they profess their love for each other from the beginning. This lessens some of the anticipation for those stirrings, but the story is still strong with outside forces working to wedge into their relationship.

I do have a couple of slight issues. We’re introduced to many characters in the beginning of the book. With a Gary, Barry, Jerry all in a scene, it was a bit confusing because the names sound so similar. Most of the early characters have little play in the story by the end as the story shifts from interaction and focusing on friends to being about family.

Encapsulating the story on a whole, All Man is a great book that you can’t put down once you start reading.

Blurb: After intensive studying of Quantum jumping, Jayden White embarks on a journey one hundred and twenty years in the past for two reasons—to aid her sister’s financial crisis and to meet the man she’s come to know through an old family diary. The night Levi Grimshaw asks his long time sweetheart to marry him he arrives home to discover a strange young woman sleeping in front of his fireplace—trouble is she’s not a stranger to his heart.

Review: Yeah BABY!! Normally I am not super big on time travel stories. Don't know why. Though over the years, as many books as I have devoured, there have been a few in this genre that sang for me and for some reason just rocked me. This is one of them.

I am not usually one to dig the "we just met but there is something about you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you" but it worked in this one. Perhaps it was the combination of this with the time travel. I don't know but I loved it. The author did a great job establishing the "reality" of the story and the probability that this phenomenon could be real. GREAT JOB Ms Robinson. :)

But after he returns home to London from the horrors of war to find his fiancée married to someone else, he decides he’s played by the rules long enough. Genevieve Bell is anything but proper. She struggles to be taken seriously as a female artist, and when very young, a brief affair ruined her chances for a good marriage. Now painting is her only passion--until she meets Will.

When Will mistakes Genevieve for an experienced mistress, Genevieve finds herself unable to resist playing along. But will he discover she’s far from an expert in the art of love?

Review: I laughed, I cried, I felt it all.

I just adore when I read a book, get so over the top sucked in that before I know it....it's over :(  Sooooo, then I have to read it again :) because I just couldn't get enough the first time. Oh yeah, this story was a total winner for me. Every word just jumped of the page and the vivid imagery and emotions did me in. Couldn't help it. I was right there with the characters and LOVED every second.

I would TOTALLY read more from Bryn Donovan. In fact, I hope you will excuse me while I jet over to her website and poke around :)

Review: Supreme HOTNESS!!!! I read the first in this series and thought it was good, but the second, for me, was even better.

Totally smokin' and the BDSM that was there rocked. A well written shorty that delivered a punch and left me feeling satisfied all the way around. From the loving to the relationship, a well rounded number that has me anxious for the next installment :)

Review: Normally I am not big on children in erotic books, however this story runs middle of the road on the Phaze heat meter. 3 Novas so even though the sex was hot and heavy, fully depicted and well done, the addition of a child at the end really didn't bother me. The baby played a very small part.

With that said are you ready for the review?

NICE!!!!!!! This well written story really tugged on my emotions and more than once I felt my stomach drop or swoop when the heroine was facing something difficult. *clapping* GREAT JOB!!!!

Bound by a secret mutual desire, Sunny and Ryan waste no time getting to know each other again, and again, and again one hot, steamy, Southern night.

Review: This hot little number is sure to have you thinking about that guy...you know the one. The sexy, handsome hunk who filled your dreams and fantasies but was in a relationship. Oh the heartache...that is until you find out he is now free :)

WOO HOO!!! Sexy, hot, carnal, hot, well written, hot. Yeah you get the idea :)  Ms Colbert did a really good job with this little number. I could almost feel the sensations right along with Sunny and Chance. Made for a really good read.

Blurb: One hot night, one freeze frame…and one shocking surprise.

As a bartender at the Lucky Seven club, Josh Bauer could take a different guy home every night…if he wanted to. Working three jobs, however, makes it hard to connect with anyone. One man, though, is too much temptation to resist. A steamy encounter in a back alley leads to an explosive night of sex in Josh’s bed—a bed he isn’t surprised to find empty the next morning.

What does surprise him, though, is the front page of a tabloid. Apparently his one-night stand isn’t as anonymous as he thought it was.

Ryan Kellar’s career is taking off. Advance buzz about his movie says it’s a blockbuster, and going home with the gorgeous bartender is the perfect way to celebrate. And he thought he’d gotten away clean—until the picture in the paper shocks him into reality. Was Josh really just playing…or playing him for a fool?

Trust isn’t big on their list right now, but as their worlds fall apart, it’s all they have. At least until they figure out who took the picture. And why…

Warning: Hot manlove, gratuitous licking of tattoos and dealing with stalking paparazzi.

Review: Wow, this story is amazing. From the first page, I was hooked. The writing is smooth and the sex is scorching. I couldn’t get enough of Josh and Ryan. I felt every tension filled breath from Ryan and the simmering heat and strength in Josh. Josh is the type of man anyone would hope to find. He’s considerate to others, passionate to his lover, and stubborn only to the point of sexy. He knows what he wants and he takes it. And because of who he is, it’s so easy to see why Ryan is willing to risk so much to have a chance at something bigger than either has ever experienced.

Blurb: A Naughty Nibbles Story…

All work and no play makes Martin a dull boy indeed. Long hours at the office and a recent split with his ex have more than taken their toll on his love life. Perving on the pool boy seems like a relatively safe way to let off some steam until the barely legal lad makes a move of his own. Surprised at the young man’s advances, Martin does what any hot-blooded man would. He offers his body up to the pool boy’s seduction.

Review: Short…but not so sweet. This super short story packs a lot of heat. It’s titillation from the first touch to the final climax. There wasn’t a need for more story. Instant attraction and instant gratification. This was a tasty treat that I’m happy I picked up.

Blurb: Charles Larkin is finally happy with his life…for the most part. He’s happy with his new summer getaway—a rustic cottage he just bought on a small Wisconsin lake. He’s happy that his ex-wife, whom he divorced because he couldn’t play straight anymore, has become one of his best friends. He’s happy he can breathe again.

It’s only Kenneth, Charlie’s boyfriend of five months, who makes this new life less than completely satisfying. Charlie feels they’ve never been quite right for each other, and Kenneth cements that conviction when he makes a disturbing confession. Charlie knows their time together is quickly coming to an end. Problem is, Kenneth doesn’t know it. And he tends to be rather possessive.

Planning to spend a quiet, relaxing two or three weeks at Cloud Lake—fixing up his place, reading, even attempting to overcome his fear of water—Charlie is less than thrilled to discover his next-door neighbor is one hell of a looker. He doesn’t need that kind of distraction, especially since his issues with Kenneth haven’t yet been resolved. But there’s a ninety percent chance the neighbor is straight, has a wife or girlfriend, and could be leaving the next day. Charlie clings to those probabilities.

Only, Booker isn’t going anywhere, and he isn’t that easily ignored. And neither is his unexpected, none-too-savory baggage. And neither, for that matter, is Charlie's. But when two people care enough about each other, they figure out how to help carry each other's baggage…or cast it aside.

This novella explores good and bad relationships. It just happens to feature men who enjoy having sex with each other.

Review: Emotional, sexy, suspenseful, erotic, sexy…well, you get the idea. This story has it all. Twists and turns to make your heart pound, emotional baggage to make your heart ache, and fierce attraction to make you hope for something magical to happen between Booker and Charlie. When Booker and Charlie come together, it’s beautiful. K.Z Snow shows us that even with our flaws, histories, and uncertain futures, love is worth fighting for. Once I savored the last word on the page, I was ready to read it again.

Upon returning to the village, he discovers the truth of his experience and its implications for himself and the encounter's younger brother.

Warnings: This title contains m/m sex.

Review: A little adventure in paradise. I found this to be a fun little tease. I groaned along with Mike and smiled as he slipped away for a private moment—taking his pleasure in hand--literally. However, his private moment soon becomes a hot encounter with an island dream.

There is a lot of action packed into this little story. The sex was crass yet gritty. The descriptions are graphic and hot, but not at all flowery. So this story is for those who like getting down and dirty. Hot man on man sex with a bit of story sprinkled in and an ending to leave you with a smile.

Miraculously, she regains her senses and is shocked to discover a long, cool finger toying with her plump nipple; another creature watching from the shadows waiting to join in, as well as an overwhelming urge to fuck.

Fortunately for her, a mysterious vampire with ethereal turquoise eyes and a huge cock is eager to explore her sexual impulses. He knows her blood and cum will be an elixir, an orgiastic feast for the senses.

However, the Beast lurking within Viggo is plotting to initiate Dayna into Its violent, sexual web. Will Dayna be able to contain the Beast lurking within Viggo, or will she become yet another victim of his savage cravings.

Warnings: This title contains anal sex, m/m, threesome, bisexual, explicit language and situations.

Review: I liked it, but I didn’t love it. Although I think I could have had the author spent more time with the story. I love short stories but not at the sacrifice of good storytelling. The story starts with a great premise. I loved how Viggo stumbles upon Dayna and instantly knows what she is and that she’s his. I love the inner beast and the feeding. The blood. The sex. All edgy, graphic and different. But then the story took a hard turn that just didn’t work for me. I wish the story had ended after the resolution between Viggo and Dayna. With the addition of the m/m element, the story “jumped the shark”.

Jasper Collins and Gregorio Valdes see right through her deception but are willing to protect her secret…if she’ll keep theirs.

The two men are lovers, but that’s not all. Jasper mourns the murder of his wife and children, while Goyo hides his true heritage. Callie can’t help but fall in love with them both. When the men make their intentions known, she doesn’t hesitate to become Mrs. Jasper Collins to protect all of them from flying rumors and meddling single women.

Callie can almost forget her past and her vengeful step-father. That’s when a brutal attack forces Jasper to face demons from his past as he sets out to protect their steamy little slice of heaven.

A Siren Erotic Romance

Review: Another fabulous addition to the Lost Collection. Callie is a great character. She’s strong determined and when she loves, it’s with her whole heart. In the beginning, she’s full of trepidation, but knows she has to find her own way in the world, whatever the costs.

Jasper and Goyo have turned to each other when it seemed the world had turned away from them. They are both tortured souls that found sanctuary in each other. Only their type of love isn’t understood and they live in secret.

Opening up their homes—and hearts—to Callie is as natural as breathing. They recognize in her a kindred spirit. She needs them as much as they need her. But loving each other is risky, for all three of them. The tumble into love was erotic and poignant. Ms. Monroe weaves magic between Cassie and her men. The sex was hot, the story gripping and the characters memorable. I thought toward the end, there was a little rush on the timeline. But nothing I couldn’t overlook.

Sarasota Steam was an excellent story. A book you can’t put down.

This sexy super shorty was hot enough to curl my toes and make me wish I worked in a zoo :) But only if I could have an 'O' like that one :)  Sexy, steamy and right out in the open, these two just go for it and get it done.

Ms Hepner did a good job putting major heat into so few words and still was able to deliver a worthwhile story that didn't seem to be missing anything. I am looking forward to reading more f/f from this author. Or anything else she decides to put out ;)

Landau is fascinated by the elf stalking him and baffled by the erotic hunger she elicits in him. After all, he’s been impotent for ten thousand years. Soon he discovers the lovely sprite is a pawn in a dangerous game—orchestrated by none other than a reviled enemy from his past. She blind-sides him with her beauty and her magical powers, the least of which is the spell she casts on his heart, as the sinister plot unfolds. What started out as folly to catch a thief, blossoms into a love that casts aside bloodlines and erases all boundaries.

Review: SWEET! Are you a vampire lover? Do you like Lord of the Rings?  I love both and really dug this book :)

Hot, action packed and filled with great characters. Gracen Miller has done a really good job in telling a fantasy story that, even though was fiction and far fetched, still kept me pulled in and reading until the last page. Oh so hot and rocking :)

The action didn't stop and just when you thought it might....yep it didn't. Kicken story that I will be reading again soon :)

And as her uncle struggles with the thoughts of wanting and having his niece in so many ways, Fiona struggles to show him that it's all okay. That she's not a little girl any more.

Warnings: This title contains explicit sex and language, incest, spanking, shades of erotic asphyxiation, bondage, elements of non-consent.

Review: OMG, my toes wanted to curl from the title alone and I wasn’t sure they were curling for the right reason, but I admit, I’m a little twisted and I like my stories a little twisted. I can get every day average at home in my real life. I’d rather have my accepted thinking altered by a book that makes me reevaluate life and love.

This book taps into the dark and dirty little place we all keep a forbidden fantasy locked away. Yes, there were elements in the story that made me squirm, and yes for both the hot sexual tension, erotic scenes and the hot uncle, but also because the story doesn’t shy away from the awkwardness that comes from becoming involved with a person always considered family.

The writing is smooth and titillating. The sex is sometimes passionate, but also rife with anger and guilt. Parker did a wonderful job incorporating a taboo subject with arousing sexual content with the sometimes-unexpected places a person can find love and comfort.

Don’t shy away from Uncle Ed’s Lap because of the content warning or you will miss out on a wonderful story that will have you sweating with the steamy love scenes and emotionally poignant moments between Fiona and Ed

Blurb: After more than a decade of marriage it comes down to honest exploration. Two of his fantasies, two of hers. Four games total before they're all done. What starts as common fodder for sexual fantasy escalates with each scenario as Brett and Alexandra delve deeper into their urges. Each game grows more intense until they wonder if they are pushing the limits of their marriage.

Ultimately, the question for Brett and Alexandra is this: Will their games put a wedge between them forever or bring them even closer together?

Warning: This work contains public sex, non-consent, f/f sex, m/m/f sex, abduction scenarios, corporal punishment and explicit sex and language.

Review: OMG, She was played, teased, schooled and abused. He was strong, weak, jealous and secure. I’ve never been tugged in so many directions in one story. It was scary, thrilling, disturbing and holy shit, stimulating. Provocative, dangerous, exhilarating, and risky. Let me see how many other conflicting words I can use to describe GAMES. I read the pages of the PDF, wondering how far the author could push my personal envelope. I admit to loving the kink, the disturbing, and even the bizarre. But what I read in GAMES challenged my concept of arousing. There were sections where I was bothered more by my responses than the actual acts committed by Brett and Alex.

I loved it! And when I was supposed to, I hated it. (yes, this is a good thing.) There are aspects of the story that are supposed to bother the reader, it they don’t, the story wouldn’t challenge my perceptions of fantasy and reality. The sex was titillating when it should be…and when it shouldn’t. Oh, I can’t tell you more because the pleasure was in the unfurling of both lust and regrets. The characters come to life within the pages. In the end, Brett and Alex realize there are images that will never leave their minds, memories that won’t fade. But will those memories make them stronger or tear them apart. You’ll have to read GAMES to discover what I have.
