Review: Ahh. Now THIS is what I love to read in a well put together regency. Good story, characters, plot...everything worked. It all fit into place, clicked and made me smile, quiver and in the end I was left with a good feeling.
 
Ms Brimble has crafted a tale about a woman who wants independence and is willing to live a sham life to get it. I laughed, I had tummy tugs and flutters, I gasped and almost cried. Together this work was wrapped into a very pleasant package that I will be reading many times over the next several years :)
 
I just love a story that makes me want to come back to it over and over again. *SNAPS* Ms Brimble, wonderful job :)

Review: This was a cute, quick read. While I felt the story was a bit rushed, the premise was good. I was held from the beginning and didn't stop reading until the end. So even though I felt like I'd read a condensed version of a much longer, detailed story, I wasn't left wondering or aggravated. Just wishing that I'd had more time and more story :)

It was clear that Ms Ritch's ability to create a story and weave it into a captivating tale makes her an accomplished writer. I hope to see more from her in the future.

Review: The Cowboys Ride Again has a great premise, a good trio of characters that have a lot of scorching hot sex. And the sex is raw, hot, and totally engaging. Natalie was a character I could relate to and I enjoyed seeing her wrestle with her thoughts, intentions, misgivings and finally taking what she wants and hanging on for one wild ride. I think Levi and Trace had redeeming qualities independent of each other. But together, something for me felt wrong. There was too much manipulation into getting what they wanted out of Natalie and I started feeling that she deserved better than either one of them.

The story takes some twists and turns and Natalie’s father steps in as the villain of this western romance. (For me, all good western have a villain.) Natalie sacrifices her needs to protect her cowboys. But I didn’t think her cowboys gave up anything for her. Maybe after all the manipulation, I would have felt more for Levi and Trace if they had been more heroic. Natalie sacrificed, solved the conflict in their relationship and with her father, then goes and claims her men. For me, she made the story. She has spunk, grit and knows what she wants. I enjoyed her the most in this story.

Ok, so I thought the idea of her getting a guy to hook up with from online...with her high profile position was a bit risky...BUT the story pointed that out and addressed it. High profile case, uber hot stud muffin and the sex? Yes it was hot too. All in all this story was pretty good. Once I got started I just couldn't stop reading it.

These two characters need each other for different reasons but what I liked about it was how the reasons seemed to mesh and make the story work. The ending left me with a satisfied feeling and I am confident that I would read more from this author in the future.

Review: While I thought that the premise for this story, a friends to lovers which I love, was good the execution just wasn't there for me.

The characters lacked anything special that made me WANT to get to know their story. The sex, while hot, didn't scorch. I think that the story had a lot of potential that just wasn't really tapped into. I have read other works by this author, this was just not a great representation of her ability.

Review: Friends to lovers stories work for me. I like them. Hell, I would go as far as to say they are in the top two of my favorites.

This one was cute, predictable but a good read. There are times when I like all the hype, the not knowing what I can expect but there are times when I like a story to be simple. While this one was simple, the sex was pretty hot and bed rocking :)  The story moved fast, the emotions were able to radiate off the page and I felt them in my tummy.

A fast read that I thought was well put together and left me with a good feeling in the end :)

Review: Oh a totally hot voyeur scene :) Sparks fly from the first page and the flames are HOT!! Though I thought the "feelings" came a bit fast for these two, it didn't take from the titillation.

The characters were well written and relatable. The situation believable. The story well put together. It flowed, gave me tugs and though I wish it had been a bit longer, all in all it was well done :) Readers of Ms Holt's work have come to expect certain things from her writing. Even as a writing team, both authors talents are visible in the stories they work together.

Review: Hidden Magic was a dichotomy of reading experiences. There were parts that I loved and could not get enough of and other areas that I nearly put the story aside. And that would have been a shame since I would have missed the best parts of the book. The beginning is slow and most of what was there was a telling of back story and the mundane activities of Alexis’ daily life. But don’t give up, keep reading because when the story kicks in about a third of the way through, it’s exciting. Good vs perceived evil. Only the evil isn’t so evil at all just a difference of viewpoints between two powerful forces. The Fae and Humans are on the brink of war. A woman discovers her destiny and cant help falling in love with an enemy sworn to destroy her brother. Whew, this story has so much to offer if you trudge through the opening and get to the heart of Hidden Magic.

Review: This story was filled with passion and excitement. The hero is quintessential hot! He’s strong, dominant and oh so bad. He’s serious sex appeal with a dangerous edge. Anna was sweet, yet strong and Wolf knows just how to bring out her wild side.

The story starts with a bang. And in such a short story, Ms. Stanton was able to perfectly blend action, suspense and sexual tension. This is sizzling little story to heat up your afternoon. Keep a cool beverage close by because the sex is smoking. But the story is even better. I loved it and it’s definitely a keeper.

Review: Lust and treachery were two powerful forces behind this engaging story. The historical flavor was deliciously naughty and the characters were complex. There were twists and turns that kept me guessing. It was unpredictable and a pleasure to read. The tone and pace of the story is fast and entertaining. All three men in this story are unique and flawed. But there is no sexual contact between the men. The focus is always on Goldie. The cover had me expecting ménage elements. But Goldie isn’t sexually intimate with all three and never at the same time. I liked that. The sex is hot and detailed in description. The ending is so unexpected but was simply “just right”.

Review: From the opening paragraphs, I knew I was reading something special. Vivid descriptions perfectly depicted the life of a Parisian. The scents, sounds and sights. I breathed in France and felt the romance of the city.

But the story was so much more than a great setting. Daniel is a character that will stay with me for some time to come. His life was a struggle to find balance. Work and relationship. Loving someone and being loved. I ached with him. I wanted so much more for him than he was willing to settle for. Even when betrayed, even though in his gut he knew he didn’t have in a partner what he deserved, he still tried to give to others what he wanted for himself. He deserved better men the ones he’d had. He loved completely and the story, The Wine-Dark Sea was his journey to discovering he needed loved with equal ferocity.

After pages of turbulent, gut-wrenching story—good, bad, sexy, emotional, erotic—I was ready to see Daniel risk for what he wanted. The ending is outstanding. Nothing was missing, nothing was left unanswered. The story isn’t just a romance (the romance manifests itself at the end of the story, but you feel it building throughout). At times the story is edgy and erotic, and others sensual and emotional.

The story has depth and layers not typical in erotic romance. The sex wasn’t always long drawn out passages, but more often, it was the desire behind the act that caused the heat in my chest and the flutter in my belly.

Fallen was a great step for this trio of girlfriends out for a special occasion. Hot, sexy, wild, kinky, yummy :) Ms Delany has done a wonderful job. Even though each story can stand alone, I have to say that I have enjoyed them much more because I've read them all. I would TOTALLY like to see Ms Delany write more about this club and the patrons who frequent it. Fallen was a bit different than the others (no complains though) Exhibition rocks :)

Review: This one was just not for me. Generally I love BDSM. Especially a story when one of the main characters is just getting into it. For me there is something super sexy about that mega alpha male. But this story just didn't deliver.

Evie was very wishy-washy and many times there were things she did or said that just didn't fit with her character. Her reluctance for certain things I bought, but then for her to turn around and do or say something that moments before clearly caused her to be uncomfortable baffled me.

While Niko was hot, his abrasiveness and pushiness with a woman he has known hours bothered me. She has never experienced BDSM but he gives her a public punishment even though she is protesting. Yeah she got hers ;) but the entire "I'm the Dom and I know what my sub needs" even though they know nothing about each other, and she's not really his sub (she's only supposed to be observing) didn't work for me.

The sex didn't really rev me either. Kinky and dominant? Yes, but I got no tugs or tummy swoops while reading it. I don't think I will judge this author on this story. Her ability to paint a vivid, vibrant image was great. The ability to tell a story was good, but for me it was the "story" itself that left me wanting.

I would like to read more from her because she is a talented writer this story just didn't work for me.

The opening pages will melt your e-reader. The tone is set and you know the story is going to be a deliciously deviant. And it is. Great sex, engaging dialog, and vivid descriptions. At times the story read like a historical set romance (although this in definitely not a romance) and at other times, it was nothing but modern kink. I thought the blending was perfect. I thought there were a few unanswered questions but rather than irritate me, it left me wanting a sequel. So Ms. Jones, will you take us back to Davenport Street? I for one didn’t want to leave by midnight.

While at times the construction/ developer aspect of the story seemed to drag, once the suspense was unleashed it got good. Not a story you will be able to sit and listen to in one sitting due to the length but a story worth the time, non the less :)

I really liked the plot, the characters and the suspense aspects. It was rolled into a neat package that worked :)

I am always amazed at what I read from this author. She never fails to grab me in her stories :) Full of emotion, plot, great characters and HOT sex :) Is it any wonder she is on my must read list? Not to me :)

This story was no exception. A broody, hot Marine (yummy). A woman who just can't stop her attraction (who would want to). And a gut clenching stalker bit that will keep you wondering who it is. Hell, I finger a few different folks through the story as the stalker. In the end everything smooths out and I was left...*sigh* yeah  it was great.

Ms Keaton? If you have anymore like Pete...Can I have one?

Review: Communion, for me, was confusing from the opening pages. Too many characters without enough distinctness to differentiate who was doing what to whom. Descriptions didn’t set the scene for me and I found the story difficult to follow. There were moments that the words were beautifully strung together, reading like literature or poetry. But sadly not enough to garner a stronger view of the story. This one just didn’t work for me.

Review: It was a fun trip through outer space. The first half of the story is driven completely by Captain Jay Marcos. However, you wouldn’t miss the dialog and cast of characters because the story is well written and entertaining. It wasn’t a big drop of “telling” me a story, but I actually feel as if I’d boarding that ship with Jay for an unknown future. Once he lands on Mars, it’s sexual attraction from the first glance between Raem and Jay. Since Jay understood at the onset of his mission that he’d never return home to earth, finding a Martian to share his life with created a perfect erotic romp. Review: Perfect. From the first words scrawled across the page, I was hooked. I loved the set up. Chris doesn’t come off as charming or even likeable, but damn he’s hot and I melted right along with Leslie. But first impressions aren’t always accurate. Chris is total hero material. He’s solid, sexy and honorable. Leslie is strong and independent and isn’t inclined to ask for help from anyone. I loved her spirit and tenacity. The chemistry between Chris and Leslie is intense and intoxicating. I was just as drunk on lust. The story is engaging from the beginning. The pace is fast and furious and the sex is scorching. Once the final page was turned, I wanted more. The story just continued to develop, more depth and understanding of the characters. The pivotal moment was surprising and the conclusion was touching. This is a story to savor as it’s revealed. Enjoy. I certainly did.

(Although I wish more detail had been given on the characters.) I totally fell for Alec from the moment he’s introduced. The longing he feels for his boss, Nicholas is emotional and deeply felt. I could feel the ache through the pages…and the fear. Ms. Houston has penned a titillating story that while short, delivers on emotion, characters, a plot and a resolution. And some hot male on male sex.

TOTAL PERFECTION!!!!!  I don't hide the fact that I am a huge Teri Wilson fan. I have read EVERYTHING she has written. Loved everything she has written. Have print copies on my bookshelf :) BUT Rodeo Redemption ROCKED!!!
 
Perhaps it was the fact that this award winning author brought together cowboys, rodeo, God, love and animals and wrapped them into a fantastic story. Or maybe it was the fact that she wrote it so well that I was unable to stop reading once I opened the PDF. It could have been that she pens such real-to-life characters that I immediately felt like I knew them. Who cares. All that matters is that Ms Wilson has done it yet again :)
 
It is no wonder this author made it on the Seriously Unforgettable list or that her fans adore her. She is unforgettable and pens stories that are warm, emotional, witty works of art :) Not only for the eyes but also for the heart and soul.

The "story" was all there. Good characters, plot, motivation and it was enough. There were times though when the flow was lacking and the structure of the words I was reading seemed a bit bumpy and choppy. With that said, please don't think that I hated it, because I didn't. I felt that the story could have been a bit more explored, that would have gotten rid of my confusion in a spot or two. It almost seemed as if the first part and the rest were written by two different authors. The flow of the words was different from beginning to end.
 
The "story" was well thought out and I think I could have really LOVED it more if the minor issues hadn't been there. It was sexy, angry, loving. all the emotions and feeling that I love to see :) The ending left me with a smile and a HEA. Nice :)

This is exactly what you want in erotic fiction. The romance was in the sexual acts, in the way Case and Garrett make her feel. She doesn’t know why they are interested in her, but she’s going to enjoy their attention and hot tantalizing affection. There isn’t a promise of forever, but a lesson in enjoying the moment of these three coming together. (oh yeah, there is a double entendre in there. they come together again and again and again.) Well written, entertaining, a perfectly naughty story.

Review: I liked the idea of a perceived player meeting his match. My problem with A Player’s Agenda was believability. I found Damien’s actions too abrasive for someone out to prove he wasn’t just a player. She is supposed to be not only his fantasy, but the story is written to make me think she’s special to him. The one. But he’s crass, aggressive and a bit juvenile. And she made it too easy for him. A quick fuck and then she’s the wounded victim. He behaved as she expected him to and her anger over it seemed a bit much. In fairness to the author, this is a very short story. Not a lot of time for building in the romance. Perhaps if they hadn’t been basically strangers to each other, I would have accepted the encounter a little easier.

However, the sex scene is detailed and hot. I loved the contrasts between Damien and Mariah. There was sassy dialog in places that made me smile. Ms. Kirk is a good writer, this particular story just didn’t work for me because the characters didn’t have time to develop so the romance between them didn’t come together. They just had hot sex.

Lets just say that even with the issues that arise, ones that could create problems, these two move past them for a very nice ending that left me with a good feeling :) Nothing less than what I have come to expect from this author :)

Review: I enjoyed this little story. One of the things I love to see in a romance is when a super hunky man is interested in a woman that most people may not think of as his "type". It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside and his one did a good job.
 
Ms Brown packed a lot of emotion into just a few words and her story really didn't leave me wanting. Sometimes that can be hard to do in such a shorty but this one had just enough to make me like it but not too much to be overkill. Nicely done :)

Riveting, action packed from beginning to end, this one came to the get-together and brought the party :) I was pulled into the story from the start. The world building was FANTASTIC. It is clear the author had everything worked out for the world, characters and the story. Nothing was out of place.

Review: It was Christmas in July as I read The Last Noel. The story is fast and sexy and will make you smile as you read. The characters are charming and the dialog engaging and true to life.

For Me though, OMG, what a trippy, interesting, wickedly wild story :) Somehow I missed the WARNING when I snagged this one so when I first started it, My Mouth Dropped! But oh how I kept going :) And I am so glad I did.
 
Weldon? He sucks. Total grade A butt munch of the highest order, no doubt. I got sucked into his and Annie's story. Then you have Stan and Angela. Oh yeah, that is a story all on it's own, but the way Bodie twined them together....SWEET!
 
Now, if you are a bit faint of heart I must tell you that there is reference to....a woman making it with a dog. Reference hell, Grandma admits it. However, I have to say that the dog...well he used to be a human but is now trapped in his doggie body. Ehh, I could roll with it because of the tone of the entire story and the fact that there was no depiction. :)

Review: Piece of the Universe is a captivating story. I loved Zane and his strong domineering ways and I loved how Tyson instigated the eventual encounter between these two men. The story is packed with realism and blended perfectly what I perceive military life is like now and the Sci-fi elements. There is a lot of information packed into the opening pages and the writing started losing some of the “storytelling” feel and became a bit too technical and mechanical. But as soon as the romance aspect of the story began, Piece of the Universe was hot, sexy and entertaining. This is a wonderful story, worth reading and recommending. A book you don’t want to put down.

Review: The historical setting was vivid and I easily tumbled back in time. From the opening scene, Anthony and Craven come alive as characters. What I loved was that I expected these two to somehow end up together. I was pleasantly surprised by the twist and turns in the story. Magnolia Heat is a story driven by the characters and their emotions and their secret desires. I didn’t really focus on the underling motivation for Craven and Anthony to spy on the goings-on at Chapel Hill. I was complete captivated by the encounters between Dominic and Craven and Anthony’s sweet torture at the hands of Devon and Ryder. A great read for lovers of historical with intrigue and a touch of depravity. And also for those who love male romance because in the end, there is a sweet connection for two of these characters.

Review: From the first page, the story was rife with tension. But I’m not talking about sexual tension, which this story is hot and sexy and all the things a reader hopes for in an erotic romance. What I’m talking about is the tension of a story that grabbed me at the opening pages and kept me scrolling the PDF as fast as my eyes could suck in the words. There is danger, passion, jealousy and fierce need. The kind of connection that made me hold my breath until I was sure that Rojan and Tyion would find away to see past their differences. In perfect sci-fi fantasy fashion, Slave Auction delivers wonderful descriptions of otherworld creatures. The flavor and attention to detail let me lose myself in Rojan’s world. But just when the story could wind down and come to an easy conclusion, Stormy Glenn given enough of a teaser to keep you waiting for the next installment of this wonderfully written series.

Review: You know, I really like stories like this. The plot and story line, while the chances of actually happening in real life are slim, are ones that I dig and enjoy reading.

I am a reader. I love to read. I love stories that go just enough beyond to make me sigh and say "Yeah, that would be so cool if it really happened" :) The author created a tale with super hot sex, brimming emotions and a hero that is totally yummy. A rock star ALPHA and boy do I love those :) All in all this one was a winner for me. A story that I will be reading again and recommending to friends who enjoy a good tale.

The heroine was real enough that I "felt" for her in her moment of panic and anger. I have to say that I would have done the same thing she did. Do I blame either of them? Nope. Made for a damn fine story and I am glad I grabbed it :)

His inexperienced with men adds to his charm. I love how Gary let Raji set the pace of their encounter. I read Indian Giver while sitting in the sun, but the heat had everything to do with the sizzle on the page and not the temperature of the day. From the first flush of lust through the vividly described sex, Kris has a way of putting his readers in the room with his characters. In Indian Giver, Kris gives us a little something more. There is a promise of possibilities between Raji and Gary.

Review: I am a HUGE friends to lovers fan. I snap them up like there is no tomorrow and was uber excited to get my hands on this one. Then I started reading. The plot seemed unable to stick to one goal. While I liked the whole charity gig that Emily got roped into, I think it could have been better with a different hero. 
 
The beginning and the end of this story just didn't feel like, to me, that they were the same story. I think that had they been used in different stories it would have worked much better. I just had a really hard time buying all the things Zach was doing but that's just me. I like my hero's alpha, or not. But I want them one way or the other not bouncing back and forth. 
 
I would like to read another from this author before I make a final decision. Her ability to craft words into vivid images was wonderful, I just don't think this story highlights her talent.

Review: My Sun…Your Shadow is a fresh and interesting spin on vampires. I will say that the beginning is a bit slow. It moves along, but when you don’t have a clue where the story is headed, it’s hard to get excited because you don’t know what is coming. Not that you want a book to be predictable—and this one isn’t—but I wasn’t grounded in the story enough at the onset. However, good writing and interesting characters kept me turning the pages.

But be ready. This tale takes an unexpected turn and then it’s fast paced, rip of the pages reading until the final word is devoured. A dark enigmatic vampire and a woman without a past. Once I understood more of the world, plot and characters, Ms. Safi swept me into the story and kept me entertained in a most dark and mysterious way. The ending was something I hadn’t expected and twisted the story even more. I loved the title and it perfectly fits the story. Read My Sun... Your Shadow to find out why.
