Blurb: IN A WORLD OF SHADOWS AND DARK, CONSUMING HUNGERS, DESIRE IS THE DEADLIEST WEAPON. . . .

Fueled by pain and rage over a shattering betrayal, the warrior Rio has pledged his life to the war against the Rogues. He will let nothing stand in his way--least of all a mortal woman with the power to expose the entire vampire race. But now an ancient evil has been awakened, and a stunning darkness is on the rise.
For journalist Dylan Alexander, it began with the discovery of a hidden tomb. Suddenly she is at the center of a gathering storm of violence and secrets. But nothing is as dangerous as the scarred, lethally seductive man who rises from the shadows to plunge her into his world of dark desire and endless night. Here she is powerless to resist Rio's touch, even as she uncovers a shocking link to her own past. Now Dylan must choose: Leave Rio's midnight realm, or risk it all for the man who has shown her true passion and the infinite pleasures of the heart .

Review: Bite me too, Rio!
Betrayal and guilt shred the soul of Rio, a tortured hero unwilling to let anyone close again. Dylan Alexander is the journalist who forces him to think of his Breed, rather than himself when she poses a threat of exposure of his kind. Only Dylan carries the mark—she’s a breedmate and must be protected. However, whenever she’s close, his marking glow and his thirst drives him into a rage. Rio wants Dylan for himself. Impossible since he’s condemned himself to death for his mistakes.

Can Dylan help Rio heal both his physical and emotional scars? In a remote burial chamber, she discovers a feral vampire maimed from an explosion planned by his former breedmate. He suffers from a head injury that causes bouts of rage. She’s vulnerable to him, drawn by hidden forces—and dead people. (you have to read the book!) Rogue vampires, erotic bite scenes and a well-crafted plot. I found this story to have believable characters and a host of supporting cast.

This is the 4th book in the series and the only one I’ve read. It stands alone and makes me hunger for the others. I can happily recommend this book. Paperback $6.99

Blurb: Daphne Charissa isn't a chubby little guy with wings and a quiver of arrows. But she does belong to the Cupid race — a race of devastatingly beautiful creatures who excel at helping others find love, while remaining loveless themselves throughout their long lives. When Daphne falls in love with Bion Chronos, she launches the two of them into a direct confrontation with the Furies as they fight to protect their own love and win release from the curse of lovelessness for the whole Cupid race. The problem is, the Furies have no intention of letting them win, and the lovers can't seem to keep their hands off each other long enough to form a coherent plan. It's gonna be an interesting battle.

Review: There is only one thing I can say about this book.........FANTABULOSO!!!!!!!! I just couldn't put it down :) A very neat spin on the cute little chubby babies we all think of when we think of Cupid and when you couple the sexy Daphne with the super hot Bion.......SMOKE and FIRE is what you end up with! Who would have thought of Cupids running a dating service? GREAT IDEA!!!!

The story was full of great plot, wonderful conflict and smokin' love! The cover.......well, it speaks for its self. I can't wait to read it again.....and again....and again....and..yeah okay, you get the idea :) A definite keeper that no doubt they rest of you will enjoy as much as I did.

Sam Cheever, you have done a terrific job and I give you major *SNAPS* I can't wait to read your next story, but while I wait, I will be searching out the EC web site for other works you have written. Gracias for letting us have the pleasure of reading your work :)

Blurb: A futuristic tale of desperation, lust and greed, with a conclusion that will keep you thinking long after the story ends.By 2098, the rise in sea level has flooded low-lying areas along the Southern California coast. The flooding has created a patchwork of marsh islands where the displaced “dung people” live – subsistence fishermen and farmers…the future’s untouchables. The affluent live high above the marshland, in condominiums bolted to the underside of old freeway flyovers. Jacque lives in a posh end unit and is the CEO of an international trading company. She discovers Desmond, a handsome dark-skinned “dungee,” trying to steal crops grown on her balcony. She helps him escape from the murderous Security Forces. When they meet again on a moonlit night, their attraction leads to passionate lovemaking. But can love and lust overcome their differences? Create a lasting bond? Don’t assume anything about this story, because the ending may surprise you.

Review: With out a doubt the blurb doesn't lie.....the ending is a whopper! Not sure that I would classify this as a happy ever after......well I guess it depends on what character I am referring to :) Jacque is happy at the end....What? Did you really expect me to tell you the ending? Nope, I can't do that, it has to hit you just as hard as it did me.

Even though the ending wasn't what I expected, and I really don't think that it qualifies as a romance (IMHO) it was still a good story, one that will definitely make you think about the what if's in life and the future.

The story is full of imagination and even though there are some "futuristic gadgets" the author did a good job making sure you aren't stuck wondering what in the hell she is talking about, and for that I have to give major props. I usually find myself scrambling trying to figure out what the author is trying to portray. Not an issue in this one.

A cute, short read, go check it out :)

Blurb: Patience Winters’ world is about to turn upside down. After two years as personal assistant to the stern and striking Professor Richmond at the Women’s Academy, her term is about to end. Achingly in love with him, Patience longs for the professor to give her a reason to stay. Desperate for some hint he might feel the same way, Patience steals a peek at her mentor’s secret journal and discovers his scandalous fantasies. But how can she let the professor know she’s in on his secret? Her typical breathless "yes, Professor" has never meant so much.

Review: Yes, Professor. Oh yes, Professor! Oh Yes! YES! YES!!!
Okay, so you can see Yes, Professor is a titillating short story. This book comes with a hot rating—as it should.

Patience is instantly attracted to the handsome Professor Richmond. He presents her with an opportunity to work at a new school for girls, she embraces the chance and spends the next two years fantasizing about him. When she discovers his naughty tastes run similar to hers, she decides to take matters into her own hands (or fingers as she’d been apt to do in the story in a very erotic way).

I loved this story. I loved that Patience is curious but also adventurous. Professor Richmond has met his match; he just doesn’t know it yet. A naughty nibble to satisfy your craving for something forbidden.

So it is with Damon Serif, who’s just landed the most difficult assignment possible—protecting his sexy neighbor, Ivy Hawthorne, from a hoard of water demons bent on making her their queen. After years of designing costumes for off-Broadway plays, she’s finally got a shot at the brass ring. But now, her sizzling neighbor is following her around the city, insisting she’s the target of a demonic conspiracy. What’s more, his mere touch causes her body to climax with an intensity of which she’d only dreamed. When Damon and Ivy connect, even the demons feel the heat, because together they are...Hotter Than Hell.

Review: SWEET! A great little read that has a wonderful dose of demons, angels and hot steamy sex. What woman doesn't want a super sexy stud to swoop in, make her feel sexy and wanted, and keep her safe when the nasties of the world come knocking on her door? This story definitly delivered on all aspects! A nifty spin on the traditional demons that gave this story it's own flare.

And did you take a look at that cover? Holy Smokin Stud Muffin, Gina! What I wouldn't give to have THAT in my house......or bed :) either one would do nicely.

At $4.50 the story is well worth the money. I certainly hope Ms Scott continues to allow us glimpses into her paranormal world, and if they all contain the heat like this one, I am sure they will all be as well received :)

Blurb: Julie Snyder was born into the thirteenth generation of the United States. The generation that probably wouldn't do as well as their parents. Just two generations past the greatest generation, Julie represents a new and different outlook for our society. A society without defined borders or morals. She discovers when she attends college just exactly what Love American Style means in the twenty first century. Her grandparents were part of the Greatest Generation and she is fighting like to hell not to become part of America's Last Generation.
Review: Oy Vey! I am just not sure where to begin. The story starts with a typical family going on summer vacation. Low and behold the parents tell the kids during the car ride that they are getting divorced and will be spending their vacation separately. Mom with daughter and father with son. That in itself is not bad, but when mom starts telling daughter she should start wearing skimpier clothes and she might get lucky.......well, not my idea of a "mom". Here is one of the quotas from mom to daughter.......
"Why not, if you dress the part, you may get lucky. Besides you have been so tense lately I figure a good fucking would really help you out." This is from a mother to her college age daughter. and by college I gather that the girl is a freshman in college so we are talking about 18 maybe 19.
At one point mom and daughter go on a double date together. Mom takes her date into the bushes for a quickie while daughter finds out that her date is just with her so he can screw the mom. Suddenly mom rushes out of the woods alone, her boyfriend has croaked. Daughter goes to the body to take care of it because mom doesn't want anyone to know she fucked him to death. It would ruin her sex life.
While daughter is taking care of the body, mom gives the daughters date a BJ so he won't say anything about what happened.
Then daughter goes over seas, bangs a Count. Mom lets her know she is getting married to a man daughter assumes is her dad. She goes to the wedding only to find out the man her mom is marrying is the Count she was banging, while he dad is marrying the daughters roommate!
HOLY CRAP! I know, I know, I just ruined the story for you. :) But tell me, do you still want to read it?

Her drenched panties couldn't take another orgasm — real or imagined. However, she's also remembered her death. How is that possible? And will discovering the truth once again put her life in danger?

Review: Turn down the A/C ladies, this story is a scorcher! WOW, who would have thought that a bunch of dusty old emeralds could crank up the heat? Well, when one of them is a hand crafted emerald dildo made for Cleopatra.......well, you get the idea :) Ms Waters really knows how to lite a fire and make it burn, Burn, BURN! Filled with totally rocking sex, and characters that really reach out grab you, this is another winner from an author who is fast becoming one of this reviewers favs.

I was a little confused during the first "memory" but found out really quick what it was all about and the rest just added to the erotic twist in the story. My favorite is when he....oh I can't tell you that! But let me just say I will NEVER look at my dining room table the same :)

Review: YOWZA! If there is one thing that I have discovered as a reader, when I fall in love with a book by a certain author I tend to search out more of their stuff. Review: Let me start by saying that the story idea was solid. I feel this would have made a much better story if it had been longer. There was a lot of details I felt the author left out. Sometimes I found myself re-reading sections to make sure I understood what was going on, and questioning things that happened in other places because they seemed to just happen and there was no explanation as to why. I think there were twists with some of the characters, but they are never really revealed. It left me feeling a little like I was only getting to see part of the story and there was much that was being held back.

That being said, I still feel the story was a worth while read. It was intereasting and makes you wonder how things could be different with just a simple change. One small change can affect not only you, but many other lives.

At $3.95 I felt the book was worth it. Not one I will reread very often, if ever again, but definitly worth the time I spent with it.

Review: Holy Guacamole! Hotter than Hell is just the tip of the iceberg for this one! But, if you are familiar with Ms. Waters writing, you already know she pens a show stopping story with scene stealing sex! I would buy her books just for the sex alone..........if the plots weren't so damn good! This story is NO exception to the fine work her fans have come to expect when they grab one of her books.

It is written in a little different fashion than I have ever seen before, but it only adds to the impact the story has on the reader. The only thing I can compare it to is......well.........humm......sex in a tornado? Fast, mind blowing, takes your breath away, leaves your knees weak when it's over and makes you want the thrill again? Yep it does all those things and more! Your colection, either paranormal or erotic, just isn't complete without this one.

Blurb: “Even now in your flush of victory, we have sown the seeds of your defeat.”Hanitz, Commander Zyptz Warrior Birds –Message to BrightstarThe Sarran Warriors came home from victory to genocide. The enemy had unleashed a virus fatal to all fertile fems on the Home Planet. The Sarrans mated in Triad, without fems, civilization ended. For two cycles they searched the Galaxy for a genetically compatible vessel. They found Earth. The WarriorPairs left Sarran with heavy hearts. They were told the Earthen fems were an inferior species, unable to establish the psychic bond that was essential to the triad bond.Yet from as far out as the asteroid belt, fem voices called to the mates. They were in pain, they were dying, they had met the enemy. Admirals Jonal and Tonas were determined to obtain their fem at almost any cost; because they had already mated in her mind.

Review: What an amazing roller coaster ride!At first it’s a torturous journey to the apex, but you can feel the anticipation and you expectantly wait for the first big drop. Then it happens, but it’s a bit overwhelming. Sometimes there is so much going on within this story, you almost don’t know what’s actually going on. But then the roller coaster hits the high speed turns, and like this story, it’s a wild, exciting ride. And just like when a high speed coaster comes to a stop, when this story comes to an end, you want to pick it up and read it again.

The Sarran people are in danger of extinction because their females have been destroyed by the Zyptz. Thankfully human females are compatible and bonded males can find their BondMate. When the Sarran’s reach Earth the Zyptz have already infected the planet. The Sarran’s have an antidote for the highbred disease that affects women of childbearing age, but some of the human females are more severely infected. Anya Forrest is one of these females. She is also dreaming of two warriors.

Sarran Warriors, Tonas and Jonal have been bonded for ten cycles. And they have found their fem on planet Earth. With Anya, they can form their Triad and finally become complete. First, they must struggle to save their people, defeat the Zyptz and rout the hidden enemies among them.

This story has a brilliant concept. However, there were times during this story that there were so many names and so much going on, it was difficult to follow. There were times when the author gave me information that I felt, added little to the plot, and there were times when important plot points were given as backstory. Because there was telecommunication between the characters, I wasn’t bothered by numerous point-of-view switches and because the world building was so well crafted, the omniscient narrative isn’t intrusive. For Sci-fi fans this is a must read. I do feel it’s important to point out that most of the sexual contact happens between the two male characters. I’d say Anya got the shaft in this story…except well, she didn’t get it very often. LOL. The biggest surprise - there is a psychic pussy (cat) to help save the day. This story, is most definitely worth reading and worth the $6.95.

Very little evidence and too many questions provide her with a conundrum that leads her straight to Inspector Chet Gavin, who relies heavily on Olivia's powers of observation to notice things he might miss. Chasing down dead-end leads leaves the pair questioning whether the homicide of this popular schoolteacher is the work of a serial killer they thought was behind bars. Or is the murderer someone else so precise he or she leaves behind no forensic evidence? Will the killer strike again? Can Olivia and Inspector Gavin solve the case before there's another victim? Follow the trail and see if you can solve the case.

Review: This was a wonderful little "who done it". I got a little lost with all the technical verbage from Olivia, but I do the same thing watching CSI, too. Still I love the fact that the author took so much time to get all the wording right (as far as I know :) )
Complete with a good SNAP ending when you finally realize who did it, I don't think Ms Patterson could have done a better job if she'd tried.

Review: All I can really say is that Ms Shay has done it again! Crafting a spell-binding #3 to follow Witch's Heart #2, and Witch's Brew-the first in the series. Kali and Koran T are a fantastic couple who have denied the sexual attraction for about as long as they can. With to many laugh out loud scenes to name, and some really steamy, squirm in your seat scenes it is a great story I have no doubt will leave you wanting more.

With the series still going and the tale becoming more intoxicating as you go through it, I am sure you won't be able to stop at just one. Ms. Shay continues to stagger me with her ability to craft a story that ALWAYS delivers and leaves me giddy for the next.

Blurb: Your secrets aren't as bad as you think.Selene believes Ferdinand would abandon her if he knew she was a werewolf, something that isn't supposed to exist. Ferdinand hides his vampirism from her for the same reasons, and must also hide from a world that thinks he's evil. He's just a melancholy English major who had a serious misadventure last summer. She's just a college student with a bizarre family history. A comedy of secrets and a romance of accepting what makes us different.

Review: When I first read the blurb for this one I was intrigued. Who wouldn’t be by a vampire and a werewolf falling in love. It definitely makes for some interesting situations, especially since they are trying to keep secret what they really are at the beginning. “Andy” is not your typical smoking hot vamp. He appears gaunt and stickly as a result of consuming animal blood instead of human. Not really a big issue, different but not bad. Selene is said to be some-what geeky herself, not the typical drop dead sexy heroine one might expect in a romance. The fact that the hero and heroine are basically “normal” in the looks department I found to be a bit refreshing. Hey we all want the big sexy hunk, but in reality, most of us fall into the normal range.

The story itself sometimes felt like words were there for the sake of putting in words. Some of the scenes simply didn’t seem to fit into the story plot at all. The plot itself was good, the bad guy predictable and the ending happy……enough.

The loving was sparse and not depicted (no problems there), the characters were relatable and the friendships meaningful. I wondered a couple times about the number of people who knew about the afflictions of the two main characters and how easily they seemed to have accepted it. All in all it was enjoyable.

Review: Oy Vey! Were to start? The story itself was cute. It had a good idea but the editing was almost non existant! When the same word changes spelling a couple times through the story there are issues. Is it Carney...or Carnie? The flip flop back and forth with that really irked me.

The steamy vouyer scene was nice, the hot sex with Edward was great. The characters really pulled me in and made me smile. The author did a great job that could have been made much better with decent editing. The editing was the main issue with me. It read as if it was the first round draft, though that did not take away from the story, only made it a little less appealing.

At $1.29 I have to say that it was worth the cash even with the poor editing

In the story, the sex is hot and guess what, yes, this erotic story has a plot. But even a masterpiece can have flaws. In Show Off, Ms. Jay gives us two great characters, but she fails to deliver on the details. For instance, Vicente is very familiar with all the remote places to have public sex for someone who has been in the country for four months, but she doesn’t tell us how he knows. Either it’s not his first time to these places, or he is lucky every time he wants to do Veronica. The other issue I have is with the crisis moment. I liked the way it ended. I just didn’t like the character chosen to be the villain in the end. Believe me, you’ll never guess who it is because their name isn’t mentioned until a few paragraphs before. The villain has no dialog, no action, no part in the story what-so-ever. So when it’s revealed, it’s a what the #*@& moment? Who is this? And a small issue, I hate a double standard. Condom use comes into question. At that point in the story, I wasn’t bothered when Veronica states she’s on the pill and “clean”. She knows this because she had a cheating boyfriend and was checked. So Vicente gives her a hot wet and wild ride (and this scene has a funny conclusion but it happens off page. You get it in backstory the next day). However in the end of the story, the assumption is given that Vicente has also been sleeping with other people. Where was his concern for Veronica’s health?

I know I’ve only really pointed out the issues I had with the story. Did it deter from my enjoyment? Absolutely not. I squirmed on my chair with the sizzling sex. I cheered for them in the end because they got what they deserved. If only we could all deserve as much. At $3.50 I think it was well worth the money.

Blurb: Thrust together by her dying father, Sara McGuiness must face the treacherous Yukon Territory with "Bear", a quiet giant of a man. Will they survive and learn to share a burning love born during the chill of a Northern winter?

Review: Every so often I decide to take a chance on a book even if the blurb doesn't really win me over. I mean really, how many times have you picked up a book, read the blurb and said to yourself "This sounds great" only to toss it into the "I'll read it later" pile or the famouse "Give it away" pile after only being able to endure a few short pages? I have done it many times, but fortunatly this is not one of those titles. I have long been a fan of a good historical. There is something romantic about them, aside from the fact they are romance novels :) And this is one that really ranked up there for me.

A wonderful story about a girl who goes to Alaska to be with her father to share in the "treasure" he found, only to find out once she is there that he is dieing. After the funeral, his partner wants to send her home, but she has no desire to leave. There is nothing to go home to and against his wishes, she stays.

I found myself completly pulled in and loving every minute I spent with the characters. It is one I would read again. And a $6 for the .pdf I felt it was worth while.

Review: Well, well, well. This is another one that I have to give snaps to. A Hot, Sexy, romantic story that will weave it's way into your heart and soul. With characters who are very easy to relate to and fall in love with, it makes this story very well rounded. Very imaginative and well thought out, I had no trouble following along and laughing at a few of the funny things that happen along the way. I really got pulled in by both hero and heroine. I could easily feel the emotions driving them both.

This is a great read that I will read again. and again. and.........well you get the idea :) Who would have thought that a therapist could be as sexy as Ms. Campbell has made Jordon? And Brock? Well he is just a stud all the way around, no doubt about it. Congrats, Ms. Campbell, I look forward to reading more from you in the future.

At a reasonable $4.50 for 220 pages of total hotness, I found it totally worth every penny

On All Hallows Eve, her final test will open the gates of hell. Or is it heaven?

Review: Well here we go. The idea for the story I have to say really pulled me in. I love to read things that are new and fresh. A good paranormal is up there on the top of my list of the ones I would rather read. My biggest irk with this story was the fact that it was written in third person present. This was the first time I had ever read a book that was written like this. Don't misunderstand me, I read a lot of scripts while I was involved in one-act plays in high school, but never a book. It felt a little funny to me.

The story line was good and I really enjoyed it. A very good push and pull of good and evil. Inventive and engaging. I would have enjoyed it more if it had not been written in present tense, but hey, that's just me, and as I have said many times before, a review is only ONE persons opinion.

All in all I liked the story, though it was not really a romance. Still a good captivating read. $4.50 for a pdf of a 20k word is not to bad.

He is given a choice by the powerful Waken Guild: Handfast with the trouble making witch to keep her in line or they will send Drayke, the most ruthless waken assassin, to hunt her down.Sparks fly in this bewitching, sexy battle of the sexes-witch-style.

Review: Brisk, sexy and laugh till you pee! I found the hero, Talon to be super sexy. The heroine, Saylym to be feisty and funny. And the entire realm of Ru-Noc to be a captivating delight for the senses and the imagination. I have not laughed this hard in a long time. The bed in the story is a perfect example of some of the most creative imagination I have seem in a long time.

The bad guys in the story make it all the better. They are the kind you LOVE to hate. It thrills me to no end this series will continue. I have the first three, so you can expect to see the reviews for the other two very soon, but I have to say, Ms Shay has gotten a new fan just off the first one. I can't wait to see what happens in the next story.

The cover was very nice, no major editing issues. At $6.95 US for the pdf I think it is very well worth it. I have no doubt if you like love, magic and laughter, you will find this story a total delight.

Congrats, Ms Shay. Here is to many wonderful stories ahead!
