Blurb: In this fourth sexy contemporary romance featuring the personal side of being a Navy SEAL by author Mary Margret Daughtridge, Navy SEAL Garth Vale rescues an abandoned baby while running an undercover mission for the CIA. He desperately needs the help of local MD Bronwyn Whitescarver, who has her own reasons to get involved…

Review: I am hooked! No kidding. I couldn't stop reading once I opened the book :) Fast paced and interesting, with characters who are so life like you can almost imagine them right there with you. A wonderful story line....that makes it an all around great read for me :)

Hot Navy Seal with a little baby? The is just sexy on so many levels. There seemed to be layers in this book but they all fit together so tight that they were hard to pick apart :)

You can bet that I will be keeping my eyes peeled for more from Ms Daughtridge in the future.

Review: WOW! I totally got sucked in from the start! What a great, fast paced, heart warming read.

I have read other work by Ms Brown but at the moment I think that this is one of my favorites :) Hot man, sexy woman and a watermelon farm in Texas. What else in the world could there be? The descriptions were great, the plot was solid and the characters were memorable and relatable. Very well done and all wrapped up in a neat package for this reviewer. *SNAPS* Ms Brown on yet another job well done :)

For the lovely Lady Audris, taking a husband would mean losing her home. She is content to concentrate on her special gift, weaving gorgeous tapestries that often contain hints of the future. But nothing predicts the arrival of Hugh Licorne, confident in his strength and single-minded in his determination—to have her.

A battle-hardened knight who needs a bride

From the moment Hugh sets eyes on Lady Audris, he knows he has found the woman destined to be his wife. She’s courageous and beautiful, delicate yet strong. But winning her trust and defending her from her enemies will be the greatest battle he has ever faced.

Review: I am soooooo glad that I got to review this title. Ms Gellis has BLOWN ME AWAY with this story. A compeling romance that will leave you breathless. A story that you will be sorry to see end. Even for those who are not overly ravenous for historicals this story will strike a cord for you.

THIS is what good romance novels are all about. Leaving the reader so enthralled that they are not totally sure if they just "read" a book or "lived" it :)

Blurb: Adelaide anticipates an uneventful journey—however, the man sharing her stagecoach has other ideas. Will Adelaide acquiesce to the unusual demands placed upon her by the mysterious stranger? She quickly comes to the realization that Mr. Winters wants not only to dominate her time—but her body, as well. Will she have the courage to submit?

Review: The blurb is a tantalizing glimpse into the story, but really doesn’t capture the author’s amazing writing style nor does it embody the full spectrum of the tale. Adelaide appears standoffish, but is completely aware of the other passenger. Mr. Winters is challenged by Adelaide’s attitude and demands complete subservience, as he believes any good woman of the time period is required to deliver. He sets about teaching Adelaide her proper place in oh-so-delicious ways.

This story is obviously not for all, but for readers who like a good spanking and BDSM tale, it’s a definite must. I won’t even mention the hot sex. Let’s just say Mr. Winters know how to put a woman’s whole body to excellent use.

But there is no controlling a creature such as he, no taming the primal fires within him. Michael revels in his superior strength and trains as a fighting machine. But when he encounters scientist Cassandra Powell, he begins to long for a more human connection...

Review: NICE!!! If this is any glimpse into the rest of this series then all I can say is BRING IT ON!!!!

This paranormal really packed a sexy studly punch. Ms Jones has really done a wonderful job not only showcasing the setting but in her ability to keep the reader...me...engaged and interested. I find that with some paranormals they get a little over the top or lack enough description for me to "stay up with the story". Totally not the case with this one. And the story? Yeah BABY!!! Totally rocked! I can't wait to read the next one :)

Blurb: One night of passion with the man you've dreamed about every night for ten years . . . What lady can resist that?

After three months of holding out against her Yorkist besiegers, Lady Eleanor de Woodford finally surrenders her Lancastrian castle to Sir Henry de Tracey, only then realising he's the man she fell in love with ten years ago. However the once boyish Hal has grown into a powerful, impressive knight, a man used to being obeyed, who's not going to let their past change the fact that he wants her castle, and he wants it now!

Although she knows she should hate Henry for betraying the real king and killing her husband, having suffered seven years of marriage to a selfish, sometimes cruel man, Eleanor is desperate for a night of freedom before she's married off again to some old knight in a faraway land. She asks Henry for one night of passion and he, still finding her the most beautiful woman he's ever seen, is happy to oblige. Eleanor has already surrendered her castle. She doesn't realise she's about to surrender her heart as well . . . .

Review: The history between Lady Eleanor and Sir Henry is heart wrenching. Ten years and neither have been able to forget the other. It’s understandable they each take advantage of the one night of opportunity they have to explore what might have been. The sexual tension is great and the author does a beautiful job of drawing the reader along the sexual journey of the characters. The only complaint, the reader is jarred out of various scenes by the use of words not belonging to the time period as well as some minor period details. Overall an enjoyable read.

Blurb:  Tristan Greene, Viscount Ramsbury, might be a rake-on-the-run from a husband-hunting debutant, but he also has seduction firmly in mind when he begs protection from Winifred Moore. The elusive widow's surrender to desire is sweet, but she resists his suggestions to continue their affair. Challenged by her refusal, Tristan sets out to capture the widow's eager passion for his own and make her his country mistress.

When fate—and the wicked Lord Ramsbury—hands newly widowed Winifred Moore the chance to find out if a rake's reputation could be worth all the fuss, she grabs the opportunity with great enthusiasm. But while the pleasures of the night might have been more than she expected, Winifred is conscious that any scandal would crush her father's reputation. Although she turns down the offer to become his mistress, Winifred cannot ignore the passion between them.

Review: The amusing opening transitions into an enjoyable steamy scene, and Winifred’s decision to resist Tristan’s future advances is believable given the distance in their social stations. However, the introduction of Winifred’s attendance at past events hosted by Tristan’s mother introduces discord. I read on trying to determine if the author was ignorant of the social customs of the time, or if there was some other explanation. As it turns out, there is indeed a quite plausible reason, and while I understand how the revelation adds to the climax, I still feel some sort of other plausible explanation needed to be worked in earlier. Barring the previous, Tristan is an engaging character and the story is well-written with moments of tenderness and humor.

Cal has hidden his true feelings from Waylon for years, not willing to jeopardize their friendship. After a night of drunken passion, the truth finally comes out. While Cal learns to accept his true nature, Waylon is afraid to risk alienating his family. Will he live in denial or choose love?

With the help of their sexy history teacher, Evan, the three men learn that love has no boundaries. But are evenings filled with hot sex enough to forge a lasting ménage?

Note: This book contains physical abuse of the hero.

Review: I have mixed feelings when it comes to this story. I loved Waylon and Cal. The dance around attraction and then finally opening up to more. But the middle of the book was a quandary of emotions for me. I found the path to incorporating Evan into their relationship odd. I found Evan’s behavior creepy and not at all believable. I didn’t enjoy the sexual journey between Cal and Waylon with Evan. The way Evan inserts himself between Cal and Waylon was too much of a stretch for me. There are some really hot sex scenes that titillate and tease. But I actually felt bad for Cal and lost some of my love for Waylon when Waylon and Evan have a good time without Cal. Throughout the story, I’d seen Cal as the link between all three and when Waylon and Evan screw without him, it felt like a betrayal. I suppose there are narrow minded bigots in every community, including university, but the immaturity of a minor secondary character and the blockheads on Waylon’s team almost pushed out of the realm of believability. All that said, the ending made up for the shortcomings. In the last pages of the book, my heart ached in wondrous ways. Even though I had issues with the story along the way, in the end Ms. Wilder made me a believer. I could see a future with Evan, Cal and Waylon. I loved the angst of coming out to family, of not hiding from love and taking what is needed in life to be happy.

So when the Gregorson pack tests its boundaries, leaving Evin to find his home ransacked and his mate nowhere to be found, the rival shifters learn what it's like to gain the KinKaid's alpha's full attention.

Review: This short story has sex, danger, mystery, shifters, and enough plot to keep the reader interested. I liked the way the story was written. Ms. Lee has a nice style to her words. However, the story is lacking a bit when it comes to the characters. I believe Ms. Lee is depending too much on readers having read Bloodlines before picking up Make Me. That said, their story is still good and the book is still worth reading, I would just suggest picking up the first book in the series to give the characters more depth before picking up this short story. There are also plot lines left open, but nothing that will detract from the enjoyment of the story, only whet your appetite for the next in the series.

Blurb: While at the rodeo with her best friend, Brianna Donovan loses her balance and stumbles backward. Momentum carries her over the railing and into the well-lit arena floor below. But when she comes to, Brianna isn't at the rodeo. She's in the arms of a sexier than sin ex-Texas Ranger, Jake Dawson, and the year is 1868.

Jake learned the hard way that beauty can be a deadly distraction. Trusting a woman's honeyed lies had nearly cost him his life a year earlier. So he ties Brianna to his bed, determined to seduce her into telling him the truth about who sent her there. Only the more he touches her, the more he wants to keep her there as his prisoner of passion forever.

Brianna finds herself falling for her handsome captor with his heated kisses and seductive caresses. He is everything she could ever want in a lover. Bold. Rugged. Masterful. Temptation at its finest.

By the time Jake accepts the truth - that Brianna is from the future - it's too late. He's fallen for her. He's also aware that fate brought her to him and fate could take her away just as suddenly. Will they have a chance to follow the passion in their hearts? Or will all they have be nothing more than a touch in time?

Review:  The story is a fun read with engaging characters, a good flow to the action and plenty of steam between the pages. I loved how she fell back through time and I liked how she didn’t hide that she was from a different time. But there are places that felt as if I missed something, like there were gaps in the story. The timing was off and the rapid scene shifts were at times jarring. But the writing is good and so it was easy to find my way back into their story and once again enjoy what I was reading. A Touch In Time is a good story and worth reading. A book you don’t want to put down.

Blurb:  Derek Thompson is a senior, a wrestler, and has a secret. He's gay. Scott Thayer is a new student who has just moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts from Iowa. On the first day of school Derek and Scott meet and their lives change in an instant. As Derek and Scott discover the things they have in common, they enter into one of the closest and most loving relationships either of them has ever experienced. When unexpected circumstances threaten their relationship, they both have to make a decision. Do they protect their secret and separate? Or fight for what they want...each other?

Review: I admit, I’m not a reader of young adult books. I prefer to read about adults with lots of sex to titillate. I’m a changed reader. Wrestling With Desire has angst, grit, tenderness, and emotion. And it has sexual tension between two young men that melts smoothly into your mind as you read. Derek and Scott deal with typical high school situations. Fear of failure, fear of disappointing their parents, fear of the unknown. But together they have found more than a deep friendship. Together they have the strength to face any challenges from wrestling to their sexuality.

I think some of my favorite parts of the story were when Derek and Scott went running. The easiness of being together was clear long before any declarations were made of the attraction they had for each other. The story is told through Derek, but DH Starr does such an excellent job of revealing Scott and the secondary characters, that nothing was lacking by not knowing their inner thoughts. The vividly described actions and poignant dialog revealed everything I needed as a reader to get the full development of all the characters. The story was brilliantly told. I’m a fan and look forward to reading more from DH Starr.

The Recruits: Book One

When Faye wakes up after a lust-filled night and finds herself tied to a man she thought belonged to someone else, she realizes there’s a lot more to her friends than she could have ever imagined.

Being Mated to an Immortal isn’t all it’s cracked up to be however. Of course, the sex is hot and just plain amazing, but she needs more from Jake. She just hopes he’ll come to realize this before it’s too late…

Review: Marked was a mixed bag of emotions for me. There were times I was reading that I just loved the places Ms. Hillman was taking me with the story. It’s one of those stories where you sort of feel like a voyeur looking in on someone’s secrets. I could feel the tension, the want to trust, knowing that if Faye made one choice it would surely come with a cost. But then you’re feeling naughty, you want to experience Jake just the way she is because there is something dark, dangerous…and delicious about him. In the beginning of the story, you don’t know that there is anything special about Jake, Chris and Sophia. You know something is brewing, but when the truths about Marked are revealed, you’ll feel much the way Faye does. Confused at first, but then curious and finally to realize, hey, this is a pretty cool situation. But there were moments when the story broke down for me. Faye didn’t seem…well, dumb throughout most of the story. But she has a few less than brilliant moments toward the end that seemed to tackle a plot point without the level of success I usually am blown away by with Emma’s books. The ending made me smile and want to spend a few more pages with them. And finally, the reason we love erotic stories. There is so much sex in this story, so plan to spend your moments with Faye and Jake turned on because the sex—all of the sex—is the yummy, naughty make you sweat kind.

Corey isn't one to give up, which is good since Diego discovers something about Juan that upsets him so much that Corey seems to be the answer to his pain.

Can a guy on the rebound find love with a younger man?

Review: It’s hot and raunchy. I love Kris Klein’s style. The humor, the naughty situations, and the characters that stumble into the best erotic encounters. Along with the men, the writing is tight. The flavor is unique to Kris.

In Someone Else's Man, Diego is charming from the opening. And I liked Corey. Right away I wanted them to be together. However, I would have liked the catalyst for Diego going after Corey to have been more motivated by his want of Corey rather than Juan’s betrayal. But that doesn’t change my opinion on the story, because it’s clear by the end, that Diego is just where he belongs. Along the way, there is hot man on man sex that’ll make your toes curl in the most erotic ways.

Expecting Paul to trust him implicitly, Nash's world falls apart when he finds his confused, innocent sub in the arms of his nemesis, Frank. Teetering on the edge of sanity and out of control, Nash is looking for revenge.

Review: It’s love revisited, but it can be read without having ever met Nash and Paul before. Misunderstanding is at the heart of this story. A few times Nash comes off as a bit of a narcissist, worrying more about image than the responsibility of being a Dom. Paul is genuinely likeable but there is still some uncertainty in his position with his Dom. For BDSM lovers, this has just enough wicked kink. The “romance” of the story is edgy and believable. I liked the book and recommend it for an entertaining read.

Review: Words are a gift Andrew Grey has and my review, regardless of what I say, won’t do this story justice. From the opening pages I knew the story was going to rip out my heart. It pulls you in and holds you tight. The words unfold in a tapestry of colorful characters, vivid descriptions and emotionally wrought storytelling. I forgot I was reading. Review: Naughty, flirty, teasing, erotic fun.

The story begins with, “Are you alone?”

This short story is a fast read. It’s deliciously naughty and yet emotionally driven. It’s a feel good read that shows why Ms. Lace is a titillating voice in erotic romance.

Is he a Christmas miracle, or some figment of her imagination? When he tries to leave, she follows him, eager to learn his identity.

Zach can't stop thinking about Chloe, or their reunion on the roof. His wolf-half urges him to reveal his identity and claim her, but he doesn't dare. For both their sakes, he must remain in the shadows until he can control his inner beast's bursts of rage. After a decade of struggle he thought he could handle his curse, but Chloe's presence causes his control to slip. As the moon-rages become more frequent, he knows he's slipping toward the insanity that claims many of his kind. Only Chloe can save him, but he broke her heart over a decade ago. Her forgiveness would be the real Christmas miracle.

Review:
Top quality writer with a mediocre delivery on an intriguing idea. The premise if phenomenal, the writing descriptive, the characters and plot are ripe for exploration. The story is ready to be told. The problem is that it really isn’t told in this book. I get a small glimpse of Chloe and that she’s unhappy in the life wanted for her by her family. Zach had the life he wanted until it was ripped away on a night that changed everyone’s futures. Most of the threads in this plot line are unanswered. All we really know at the end is that Chloe and Zach want to be together and I was left with the impression they were ready to fight for each other…and whatever is out there…waiting in the next book to be told to the reader.

Blurb: It's been five years since Lily Ellis and Travis Carson got married and fell in love in TAKE ME....now it's finally time for Janica Ellis and Luke Carson to get their very own happy ending.

If there's one thing that Janica Ellis is absolutely certain of, it's that she and Luke Carson are totally wrong for each other. She's a wild, artistic and outspoken fashion designer. He's a type A, workaholic trauma surgeon (who just happens to be sizzling hot and her brother-in-law!). But Janica is about to be proven wrong when opposites attract...in the sexiest possible way.

After a life-changing night in the ER, Luke is desperate for escape - and relief from his personal demons. For five years he has fought his attraction to his sister-in-law, but when he's pushed too far, he can't fight it another second. He needs her. Desperately. He's spent his whole life doing the right thing. For one night, he's going to follow desire instead. Straight into Janica's arms.

Janica can't believe Luke is finally at her front door...and that he's kissing her like he's been waiting his whole life to touch her. But even as their sensual connection deepens with every touch of skin on skin - and the man she always thought was such a good boy turns out to be sinfully, toe-curlingly bad between the sheets - Janica soon realizes she wants more than Luke's body. She wants his heart too. But what will Luke do when one night of extreme passion turns into an all or nothing proposition?

Review: There are so many things to love about this story. The way Bella weaved the internal emotions with the actions of the characters was brilliant. Not only did I feel as if I experienced their every emotion, but I felt the gut-wrenching after affect. The desperation in their first encounter set the story for me. This was a hard journey of learning to admit need and let go of control. There were times that Luke is a complete selfish ass and Janica was perfectly willing to be his doormat. But each step they took, led them on an erotic journey to a place where they had in each other just what they needed. The writing was a pleasure to read, beautiful flow to the words and deep understanding of the characters. The story is built on sex. Sometimes rough and dirty, some times aggressive and other times desperate and emotional. But always hot and described in ways to make you feel every sensation. LOVE ME was excellent, solid storytelling. A book you can’t put down.

Blurb: Pride and ego make a very unlikely combination for finding true love. Unless you discover another who is your mirror image.

Twenty-five year old Phil Andrews left his family in Eastern Washington to escape the small town attitudes of his siblings and the locals to be free to be himself in the liberal area of West Hollywood. But without an education or work experience to fall back on, Phil uses his good looks and physique to make ends meet, working as a go-go boy at night, and a gay porn star on the weekends.

Intelligent, out of the closet, Dr. Christopher Love was thirty-three years old and a success in everything but his relationships. He knew his life was lacking something, a partner to share it with. Trying to find the kind of man he found attractive sexually and one who was also was willing to bend to his demands was an impossible task. Until he met Phil Andrews.

Two men, two opposite worlds. One educated at the finest schools, an asset to the community, a philanthropist and a surgeon, the other, a high-school drop-out, former drug addict with a criminal record, meet during a stormy night while the lights are blacked out. The physical attraction bonds them instantly, but soon their differences bring to the surface that deadly pride.

Review: GA Hauser writes characters with depth, emotions, flaws, and courage. I could picture the opening scene so clearly in my mind. It was as comical as it was hot. Throughout the story, I sympathized more with Chris and didn’t always understand where Phil was coming from. He makes such horrible decisions in his life. But although he’s frustrating and you’ll want to slam the book on him because he can’t see a good thing standing right in front of him, that’s what makes this book such an enjoyable read. I don’t want to read easy. He was conflicted, and knows he’s screwed up his life. He tries for easy fixes but nothing comes without consequence. The ending leaves you as conflicted as you’ll feel reading the whole book. There is just enough left up to me, the reader, to surmise what the future held for Phil and Chris. This is a good story, worth reading. A book you don’t want to put down.
