Blurb: She Means business…
Sharlene Waverly is determined to have the “new and improved” Honky Tonk up and running before the holiday. For that, she’ll need Holt Jackson, the best darn carpenter in the state. But his warm, whisky-colored eyes make her insides melt, and before she knows it, she’s sharing her darkest secrets and talking about the nightmares…
He’s determined to keep things professional…
Holt Jackson needs the job at the Honky Tonk, but is completely unprepared to handle the beautiful new bar owner he’s working for.
Sharlene and Holt try like crazy to deny the sparks flying between them, but their love may just be the best Christmas present either one of them ever got.
Review: Hot, funny and a good old fashioned knee slappin good time :) I am not sure when I have enjoyed a story quite as much as I did this one. I found all the characters totally captivating. The Tonk seemed to have a life of its own and so did all the people who walked through it's doors.
A colorful read that didn't want to let me go. The story had some major heart stoppping moments that just amped everything up a bit more and made it all the better. :) Total winner for me :) Between the past, the present, a mom back home, a sexy contractor and two cute kids? Lets not forget the Bahama house :) there were times when I laughed so hard my sides hurt :) I love it when a story does that :)

I'm so glad that you enjoyed getting to know Sharlene and Holt. They were a hoot to write about. They sat on the futon behind me and fussed at me constantly to get the story right! LOL
Thank you for a truly awesome review!
