Blurb: When Adam happens into a new bar, he's immediately taken with the young, male bartender.

Hayden is cheerful and flirtatious but his personal life is not so simple. Adam is in an unhappy marriage. Hayden's boyfriend is possessive and controlling.

Can Adam save him? Or does Hayden want to be saved?

Review: I loved so much about this story. For a short novella, there is an amazing amount of character development. I liked the instant attraction and the slow acceptance. The sexual tension was so thick between Adam and Hayden, it was palpable. So for three quarters of the story, I was in lust right along with them. But then the story lost its edge. Once the pivotal moment occurred, the story lost its fire. The sex was well written but occurred after the story was done so there wasn’t any emotional risk to it. I also want to say that the dialog between the characters in the beginning was great. It flowed and I could hear the words coming out of their mouths, but toward the end, the terms and endearments became a bit redundant. Hayden sort of lost some of his appeal because he became sappy and a bit needy.

Jack, I’m still a rabid fan, just this one wasn’t one of my favorites.
