Review: O...M...G! Talk about action packed, edge of your seat thrill ride!

Fast paced and bursting at the seams with action, drama, passion and hate this book was a dream come true for me. As some one who is a devoted Kenyon fan I often find myself disappointed with other paranormal s\action romances....NOT the case here :)

From page 1 I was sucked in and found it nearly impossible to put down. Ups and downs, twist and turns My heart was in my throat almost the entire time. A total adrenaline rush that I will be mulling over for years :)

Blurb: The Devil Went Down to Texas...

Sexy wannabe demon Destiny Carter has pissed off the people downstairs and has been kicked out of hell.

Now she's in Ft. Worth, Texas with one week to corrupt a soul. Or else.

Lookin' For Just One Soul to Steal...

When smokin' hot Destiny strolls into the Stompin' Ground bar in a slinky red dress, she has a feeling her assignment might not be so bad. The cowboy at the bar looks pretty darn delciious and oh–so–corruptible.

But Chance Bellew is no ordinary cowboy, and Destiny gets away more than she bargained for when she rubs up against the sexy dark angel perched on a barstool like sin just waiting to happen...

Review: Super sexy, hotter than Hell and oh so naughty :)

When a super cover is placed on the front of a book it draws the eye...and this one did. But DAMN, when the story between the pages lites you up? Well, that's like a present that just keeps on giving.

I love a great paranormal with strong, sexy characters and a storyline that can make my knees weak...and that is just what I got. :) Great job Ms Kelly!

Blurb: Orpheus—To most he's an enigma, a devil-may-care rogue who does whatever he pleases whenever he wants. Now this loose cannon is part of the Eternal Guardians—elite warriors assigned to protect the human realm—whether he likes it or not.

Orpheus has just one goal: to rescue his brother from the Underworld. He's not expecting a woman to get in the way. Especially not a Siren as gorgeous as Skyla. He has no idea she's an assassin sent by Zeus to seduce, entrap, and ultimately destroy him.

Yet Skyla herself might have the most to lose. There's a reason Orpheus feels so familiar to her, a reason her body seems to crave him. Perhaps he's not the man everyone thinks... The truth could reveal a deadly secret as old as the Eternal Guardians themselves.

Review: Totally sexy. Totally Hot!

Ms Naughton rocked it hard with this edgy paranormal. kick-ass now maybe ask question later hero left me breathless. To top off the action packed ride the tangible passion lit the screen on fire and let me wishing I was Skyla :)

Awesome world building topped it off and really made this story sing. No doubt this story will rock it for paranormal lovers everywhere :)

very well together. Gave me a bit of old school feel with just enough "bite" to really sing :) a big kick out of this one and it has really just clenched the fact that Ms Dare has to be on my must read list from now on :)

Blurb: How far would you go to save the ones you love?

Having successfully hidden her abilities from humans for two hundred years, Briet applies her Guardian gifts to help patients in need. Until she meets her human soul mate, Jason Ballard, who holds the reins to the Briet’s patients’ cancer protocol. Can she trust a man all too human and grounded in his world to understand hers? Yet, when a deadly threat targets her patients, he is the only one she trusts to help stop an evil that only the Guardians can fight.

Rules delineate every facet of Jason’s professional and personal life. The last thing he expects is to find temptation in the new spitfire doctor on his latest test team. Especially as she starts stirring up issues. Dangerous issues. Issues flagging jeopardy for the lives of the children in the test. Issues his employer, would prefer be ignored. Honor forces Jason to walk a dangerous line between job and conscience as he joins with Briet to ferret out the twisted scheme in time to save her patients. In a final life-altering decision, he will risk every careful plan he’s ever made for the woman he values more than life.

Review: Briet is a guardian, interacting with the humans in hopes of finding her mate. She finds him, but he's not exactly what she was hoping for. Jason doesn't want attachments in his life. Slowly, he comes to terms with the fact that Briet isn't like his usual women, she's somehow gotten under his skin. When Briet almost dies and Jason finds out what Briet is, he doesn't hesitate to do everything he can to make sure she lives. Briet is astounded at the turn of events, when she awakens from the dream sleep she was put in to help heal her. I hope there are more books in this series. There are so many things I want to know. I love the concept of the guardians, and would love for K. H. LeMoyne to fill in the rest of the story. She's a fantastic story teller. I will definitely be on the look out for more of her books.

Blurb: Liz Triest just moved into a row house in an historic neighborhood of Albany, New York. But even Liz’s self-protecting walls built from a broken heart are not strong enough to withstand the unrelenting force of the beautiful, mysterious, and supernatural Isaac Ainsley.

Review: I would recommend this book, because after I read it the characters stayed with me. I actually thought about this book last night and re-read it because I enjoyed it the first time. I'm sad that is was a novella, but none the less the story was cool. I loved how she had Issac come in and our of Elizabeth, even though only her family called her that, he addressed her in that way. I love how the Author keep the mystery, yet wrote a compelling story.

Blurb: Hell never looked so good.

Reality television is the newest battleground for God and Satan. Caught in the middle is Kate Thomas, an ordinary woman stuck between flaming Archangels and scorching hot War demons. When her heart is captured by Demon Michael, Kate has to face the hardest choice any woman can make: the fate of her soul versus the future of her heart.

Review: As a professional reader, in my dream world at least) and a writer I have to say 666 Angel Lane was a great story. It revolves around Kate, a human who finds herself trapped in a reality show with demons and angels as they vie for ownership of Limbo. The characters were engaging and likable. I could really visualize the heroine, Kate. The story is fast paced and although it ended clean I would love to see a sequel. Maybe Ms. Green could expand on Kate 's relationship with her demon lover and even throw in a few "heavenly" glitches. The only thing I would have liked to see added to the story, and again the plot is solid enough as it stands, is this; I would have liked the hot angel to have made an obvious play for Kate so that maybe there was a little, "who will she chose" going on. The book eludes to the TV audience feeling this way but as I reader I didn't see it. Again this is just my opinion. The story works as it stands.

Jamie Dexson is like any other twenty year old boy--with one exception. He's been passing himself off as a girl for four years.

Fleeing from a dangerous situation, the ruse is necessary. Jamie and his mother have been on the run, but when Jamie's disguise becomes more trouble than it's worth, he has to decide if leaving it behind will free him from the arms of a predator seeking to make Jamie his.

From a life of deciding which heels to wear with what outfit, Jamie falls into a world of dragons, vampires, werewolves, and shapeshifters. And he discovers he's one of them... but doesn't know which one.

CONTENT ADVISORIES: This title contains scenes of rape or near rape and a "to be continued" ending.

Review: A very original story. I will admit to saying “OMG—354 pages!” upon opening the book. However, by the time I reached the end, I was saying “354 pages weren’t long enough! More!” So this is a series that I will definitely be following.

It starts with Jamie Dexson-who is a boy that has to pretend to be a girl to stay alive-writing in his journal, about the events in his life. We not only learn of what happened in the past from his journal entries, but what’s happening now, as he’s living it. The journal reveals that Jamie, his mom and his mom’s partner Catherine are on the run from Jamie’s father, who wants Jamie dead. By the end, you’re not sure who’s who anymore, as the plot twists and turn. Is Jamie hiding because his dad really wants him dead, or does his father have ulterior motives, and just wants Jamie to think that?

Blurb: Lord Devlin White, Duke of Winterbourne, is the last in a long line of powerful witches who assist the Demon Lord of London in keeping control of the Nightwalkers living amongst normal men. With all but one of his siblings gone to the new American colonies, his proud family line all but ended, Devlin is kept from gloom and despair only by unusual ward, Midnight.

Neither alive nor dead, sustained by magic and a bond to Devlin, and confined to the night, Midnight is happy to spend his life by Devlin’s side—though he longs for the day that Devlin sees him as more than a ward. But the powerful magic that raised him from the dead is desperately sought by someone who will stop at nothing to obtain the secret of Midnight that Devlin would die to protect...

Review: Megan Derr has taken a common theme-zombies-and made it something extraordinary. Rather than call the walking dead zombies, she's called them 'daugrs'. I've read a few of Megan's short stories, but Midnight is my first taste of her longer works. All I can say is...MORE! Midnight is bursting at the seams with paranormal creatures. Not only does it feature daugrs, but demons, dragons (and their companion knights), shifters, angels, imps, witches and vampires, as well as a ghost and a wolf, elf, human combination of Devlin's assistant Barra. The result is a highly entertaining and original romance story. Don't let the fact that it's listed as a m/m story stop you from reading this, because if you do, you'll be missing out on a fantastic story! The basic premises about Midnight and Devlin White, 11th Duke of Winterbourne and a black witch. When Midnight is turned into a daugr as a child, Devlin devises a series of spells, to give Midnight some sort of life, that was taken from him far too soon. However, the spells actually work to bind the two together, as long as Devlin's heart beats, so does Midnight's, allowing him to grow up and preventing him from rotting, like a normal daugr. When Midnight is about 15, he realizes that he loves Devlin, as a man, not as his guardian. He fears that Devlin will never see him as anything except a child. However, Devlin does see Midnight as more than a child, but fears that he's taken away Midnights free will because of the way they are bound together. Fortunately for them, they do get a happily-ever-after ending.

Blurb: Ava Lesarris has her life figured out. She has a great job, has accepted her latent wolf shifter identity and is looking forward to climbing the corporate ladder. When a faulty GPS unit leads her to a town called Strange Hollow, she’s in a quandary, even more so when she’s suddenly transported back to the year 1900.

Sam Tremaine is the last of his kind. He’s a phoenix, living in Strange Hollow during what should have been its greatest time—the founding year, but he can’t enjoy it. He’s dying which leaves him with one regret. He’s never found a woman whose spirit is as strong as his own. He wants be remembered but time is running out, not to mention he hasn’t been able to get “it” up for months.

Worlds collide as the past and present come together in Strange Hollow. Ava will need to figure out her purpose while Sam struggles to come to terms with his fate. If they’re lucky, the special town will offer the answers they’re both seeking before the next phase of life begins

Review: Ava is a self assured latent shifter who knows what she wants and what she doesn't. She is happy with her job, boyfriend and life. Or so she tells herself. On a road trip, she suddenly finds herself in Strange Hollow. A town that didn't exist on her GPS up until right before she ended up there. The woman she meets when she arrives assures her she is supposed to be in Strange Hollow. Maybe she will find "that which she doesn't think she needs", according to the woman who welcomed her. After a strange gust of wind, Ava finds herself in a different time, same place. Women wear corsets and layers of clothing. No high heels and certainly no cars.

Left to stand on the sidewalk talking to her Wolf, she attracts the attention of a banker named Simon. He has no idea why this woman is in his town wearing strange clothing, but he knows he needs her. The two of them are unquestionably drawn together. Sadly, their time is limited. Ava and Simon find themselves in a whirlwind romance full of heat and passion. A relationship Ava tries very hard to fight. She doesn't want to fall in love with someone she cannot spend eternity with. She may be whisked back in time any moment. Useless to fight it, she surrenders and opens her soul to him.

I was on the edge of my seat through every page turning moment. The characters and secondary characters in this book need their own stories. I wanted to know more about them and I hope there will be more about this town called Strange Hollow. Sandra Sookoo describes the townspeople and the place so vividly. It's a place you are certainly sucked into. After I finished the book, I had a hard time remembering I wasn't 'actually' there.

It has a 'not so typical" ending and you will not forget it. It was a refreshing twist on the happily ever after. The sassyness of Ava and her wolf combined with the charm and desperation of SImon are a wonderful combination. I laughed, I cried and a few hours after reading this--I still teared up thinking about it.

Definitely a great read!!

Blurb: The Man of Her Dreams

He is like a prince in a fairy tale: tall, outrageously handsome, and way too dark for her own good. Amanda has been hurt before, though. And with her daughter's illness, the last thing she needs right now is a man. But the power of Dai King is hard to resist. And when he threads his hands through her hair and pulls her in for a kiss, there is no denying it feels achingly right.

In a Land of Nightmares

After being trapped in the Shadowlands for centuries with the goblin horde a constant threat, Dai revels in his newfound freedom back in the human realm. But even with the centuries of magic he's accumulated, he still doesn't know how to heal Amanda's daughter—and it breaks his heart. Yet for the woman he loves, he'd risk anything...including a retun to the Shadowlands.
Review: This story was great. I loved the way Ms Husk portrayed Dai, brother to Roan, the Goblin King. You can feel his pain and loneliness as he struggles to adjust to the fixed realm again. Nightmares of the Shadowlands as well as his captivity as a Roman slave haunt him still. He also finds himself drawn towards Amanda, but thinks that due to his past, he’s not worthy of her. Amanda has trouble letting go of her late husband, and the feelings she’s having towards Dai confuse her. She also has a seven year old daughter who is very ill, and only wants the best for her.

Review: As always Ms Meyers bowled me over :)

There is a "way" with her writing that just gets me all wrapped up and won't let me go. Amazing world building. Sexy attractions. Passion that will light your reader on fire. Fabian Sterling likes money, he likes power, and he likes Phoebe. He's also the ancestor of the man who burned Phoebe's witch ancestor at the stake. Can passion overcome a centuries old grudge? When he looks at Phoebe he doesn’t see a witch, only an angel. How can anyone so beautiful be reviled by an entire town? Fabian vows to protect her, whatever the cost.

Review: Ashlynn Monroe has written an adorable story about one of my favorite paranormals. A witch named Phoebe who has the ability to ease pain and heal people. Phoebe is a descendant of the Penn witches, who lost her parents too soon. She works hard all day to pay the bills and support her three year old son and herself. Phoebe doesn't spout off spells or hexes to the people who won't accept her. She isn't bitter about her life or her gift. The only thing thta matters to her is her son.

Ashlynn conveys the daily struggle this single mother goes through trying to make ends meet. At the same time, she never makes Phoebe look week or pitiful. There is a fire inside Phoebe that pushes her on. Even when she has exhausts herself to the point of unconsciousness saving the life of a little girl, Phoebe still pushes on. She visits the nursing home bringing healing and pain easing love to the residents, even if only for a little while. She uses her abilities for the greater good. Phoebe doesn't save the world and that's refreshing. She simply wants to help people.

However, when Fabian shows up to help her repeatedly, it is hard for her to let down her walls. She's guarded and doesn't trust people easily. Who could blame her? Especially when residents of Willow Lake "out" her on cable TV. She witnesses just how cruel and ignorant the townspeople can be. Even in the twenty-first century. Phoebe soon learns she cannot protect her son and herself from everything. Will she open herself up to Fabian and allow him inside her heart and life? Or will she lose the one man she has ever loved because of her pride?

A great read that this paranormal romance lover really enjoyed. No doubt that the creativity and imagination of the author shined in her ability to craft a world that stood out from others. Review:   Although some of the content in this book was heartbreaking to read, the story itself was a great read.

Ms. O’Neal’s heroes and heroines are likeable and feel real. I found myself quickly turning the pages as I followed them on their journey to happiness and safety.

The author’s villains are so vile, you find yourself plotting along with the good guys and wishing you could have a hand in their demise. I for one, plan to buy the first book in the series, Blood Fest – Chasing Destiny and am eager for the next one be released.

This book is not for the faint of heart. The abusive situations referred to involve children and although each one is handled with sensitivity and all are inferred, the content is disturbing. Without giving too much away, let me just say the book concludes with a HEA or at least a HFN ending.

Serena hails from a long line of able and powerful women who will aide in the battle and perhaps settle a score of their own. The strength of the coven and Serena's love will be behind him, but ultimately this is Logan’s fight to win. But, will he?

Review:  There is a boy name Logan whose dad died when he was younger so its just his mom, Lilly and his sister Jade all who has normal lives then there is Serena who one day just appears at Logan's school. Logan is very interested in finding out everything he can about Serena from the moment he saw her. He feels drawn to her somehow he doesn't know why, but when some stuff starts happening like magic. So Serena is a witch who tell Logan what she is and he doesn't care that she is a witch, he actually takes it very well. But soon someone is after Serena, they are not sure why until a bigger secret if uncovered about Logan's family.

When that secret is uncovered, Jade (Logan's sister) and Sully (Jade's boyfriend and Logan's best friend) are kidnapped by the people who want Serena. Everyone must battle this evil if they are to survive and get everyone home safely. Makes you wonder if Logan and Serena's love can survive and can they come out of this battle alive. This battle will determine their lives and everyone elses.

I absolutely loved this book, it has so much going on not one boring part, it kept you interested in it til the very end. You never knew what was going to happen. I would re-read this book over and over and still wouldn't believe that some of the stuff happened. Amazing writing too everything was in detail that you could understand, you could actually feel the love that Logan and Serena had for each other. Amazing!

Blurb: I didn’t ordinarily break the rules, but everyone has bad days, right? I mean, as an Angel of Death, I always toed the party line. That is until one night when I was feeling particularly vulnerable and along came Dominic. He’s another AOD, but don’t think of him as an angel because really, he’s anything but. To me, he was more like a walking advertisement for sin.

So that night, Dominic and I broke a cardinal rule—no fraternization between Angels of Death. Don’t ask me why it’s a rule. I guess that was why Dominic hauled ass before I even woke up the next morning. As an AOD, I understood. As a woman, I was pissed.

So fast forward two months, and both Dominic and I are facing disciplinary punishment if we don’t figure out how to put our differences aside and work together. Unfortunately, I’ve never been one to let go of a grudge very easily, and when it seemed like Dominic had no issues about what he did, my anger grew by leaps and bounds.

An argument generated more heat than Chernobyl, and once again, Dominic and I delved into the disallowed. And while we were busy getting busy, we lost a soul in a horrifying way. Now, we’ve been given an ultimatum. Find the soul and help her cross over, or both Dominic and I will have to cross over ourselves. As in permanently.

Review: I thought this book started out really slow, I actually almost gave up on it. I really hate giving up on books but then decided that every book deserves a second chance.

The story is about angels of death, and helping people to cross over. There are two angel's of death that the story focusses on Cleo and Dominic who broke one of the rules of being a angel of death which is that they are not allowed to date or anything else.

Well, one night Cleo and Dominic make love, and everything gets complicated there as it would. Dominic leaves Cleo the next moring which makes Cleo angry, and hard to work with . So the counsel makes them work together no matter what happened or why they broke the rules. On one job they loose a soul and was told to find it or would suffer the conquences of permanently crossing over.

While they were fighting over who lost the soul and what had to be done about it then some how went back to that day on why Dominic left Cleo in bed alone. During that fight they ended up breaking the same rule of sleeping together. They finally find the soul and then they are told they are never allowed to see each other due to that fact that the same mistake (as they call it) keeps happening and they lost a soul! I was shocked by the ending and what happened between Cleo and Dominic.

This book is a must read!

It's unfortunate for Natalie that Nigel Aquarian is so compelling. With his inner demons, his unbridled heat, and his "I will conquer you" looks, he calls to her in exactly the way that nearly killed her.

BUT LOSING CONTROL MEANS LOSING HER LIFE...

That he's an immortal warrior and that her powers rise from intense passions would seem to make them a match made in heaven, but unless they embrace their greatest fears, they'll play out their final match in hell.

With a unique voice that critics say, "carves out her own niche-call it paranormal romance adventure comedy," Stephanie Rowe delivers an irresistible pair of desperadoes dancing on the edge of pure temptation.
Review: Yet again Ms Rowe has demonstrated her fantastic ability to create a wonder filled world of paranormal magic and fantasy.

Edge of your seat excitement, romance that stirs the soul and a story that will leave you breathless. Ms Rowe never fails to disappoint me when I select one of her titles. While the stories are all different...the ability to "feel" the raw emotion of the characters is not.

I was sucked in and whirled around this engaging tale in an amazing way. Rest assured that I will be reading this one again :)

Blurb: When one human stands before an army of impossible obstacles, the likelihood of overcoming them in this coming-of-age modern fairytale may result in war between light and darkness.

Abandoned as an infant in Prague, naive and strong-willed Charlotte Ruzikova was raised by one of the last Vampires left alive. As a human, she knows no other home than the one nestled deep in the woods of Eastern Europe, where Witches drew spells of enchantment, Phasers threw tea parties, and Elves are the closest in kin. Charlotte has lived her life in the dark with her Guardian, content to having him to herself and reveling in his attention, until she's realizes she wants more...

Resident medical doctor and Vampire, Valek Ruzik fears the day his ward would come of age and blossom into a fine woman, and he is forced to confront his own motives as time is of the essence once his past catches up to him, and their lives become endangered...

As genocide and war threatens their secret society, the dictator in power is ready to wipe out Valek's race, but Charlotte will not allow that to happen. Fighting for the only one she's ever loved and truly believed in, she will do whatever it takes to save their love...before the sun comes up and light takes over.

Review: I didn't like this book at all.

I had to force myself to finish it because I found it to be too boring, not enough action and when there was action it was poorly describe. From what I gather this book was about Charlotte who was Abandoned by her parents and was raised by a vampire named Valek. Valek is the last of his kind, they live in Prague. War basically breaks out where they live and force them to find feelings for each other that they never knew they had. That's all I really took away from this story.

Like I said the book wasn't that good, I mean I loved the idea of the story but not the way it was presented. And when combined with editing and spelling errors...it just didn't do it for me.
