Review: Beyond Curious is a short, snappy story that drops you into the life of a young widowed piano teacher and her new student Annie. Annie isn’t much interested in the piano lessons but is more interested in teaching the piano teacher a thing or two about physical love. The attraction is instant but happily the love isn’t and builds gradually. The story is believable and the characters likeable. Both Annie and Emily clearly define their roles early in the relationship. In only a few pages, the author brilliantly builds the attraction to a fevered pitch. The sex is hot although I thought Annie gave more than she receives. There are obstacles in the way of their becoming an open gay couple, and I found both their reactions to be realistic.

If you haven’t sampled f/f romance, this is a perfect quickie to whet your appetite.

Review: This story is excitement from page one. Hot Alpha hero, bad-ass feisty heroine, worlds on the brink of war, and what can save them all….hot sex! I smiled throughout the story. Kendrick is arrogant, controlling, dominant, and hot as hell. There is something so sexy about a man who knows what he wants and takes it. If only he had know how Tamara was going to disrupt his life….well, that was just a riot to watch unfold.

Tamara wants, but duty and responsibility keep her from acting irrationally. Kendrick would definitely be reckless, and oh so satisfying. She gets her wildest fantasies when Kendrick’s demands that she serve him, in his bed, for one year in exchange for protection. Oh yeah, bring it on.

There is so much about this story to love. Great characters, hot sex, a plot to drive the story and an ending that leaves you anticipating the next installment of the Pleasure Seekers Series.

Review: NICE!! So, when I started this one I was immediately pulled in. Though in the beginning I got a bit lost with the large amount of secondary characters that showed up and all the conversation between them, it didn't detract from the appeal of the story.

And let me tell you that once things got going I just couldn't stop reading. WONDERFUL story! Tell me if you can what better feeling is there than knowing you are loved for who you are rather than what you are?

Ms Bancroft has done a wonderful job and I can't wait to see more from her!

Review: I have to say that this one really made me stop and think. When Lane tells her secret, Daniel's reaction at first really isn't what any woman wants to hear. HOWEVER... everything works itself out for a good ending.

With good characters and solid story, this one is one that delivers a message about discovering what you really want in life and taking stock of what you have. What is important to you and your future and what are you willing to do to get it?

Ms Bayne has done a good job of delivering a faith filled love story that will make you think. Good Job!

Review: I loved it!!! This is a story to read and re-read.

My attention was grabbed from the very first when Cass is telling her best friend that she is having a baby and the father left town when she told him. Her best friend, knight in shining armor Dooley, suggests they get married. This will help him get a promotion because his boss thinks married men are more dependable.

I found myself chuckling, if not outright guffawing, all the way through the story. I could not put it down -- well actually get up from the computer -- until I finished the story.The entire book is full of down-right hilarious situations and when I least expected them.

The bachelor party for Dooley is typical. Instead of hiring a stripper, Dooley's good buddies arrange for an over 70s dance class from the nursing home to perform in their short shorts, high heels and halter tops. For the finale, the white haired lead dancer sits in Dooley's lap and whispers suggestive comments.

This really created a visual picture for me of wrinkled, skinny, flabby old ladies. Ms. Rogers has a fantastic sense of humor which shows quite ofter in this story.

This was a truly entertaining story from beginning to the happy conclusion. It is not a fantasy romance in an exotic setting. Just everyday middle class working people in USA. It is not a hot and steamy love story, but it is descriptive enough to convince the reader that Cass and Dooley develop love for each other that goes beyond the friendship they have had since they were children. The platonic marriage of convenience they plan does not last long.

I liked the main characters because their personalities were believable with human strengths and weaknesses. The supporting characters were also developed into more than just names on pages.

This is definitely a keeper. I will definitely be looking for more of Ms. Rogers' truly entertaining stories.

Review: There are many conflicts in this story.Riley and Iris try to avoid their growing attraction to each other as they find they have many similar interests. The two pets, a cat and a dog, have to learn to co-inhabit the house in peace. Angelica needs to prove her reliability and responsibility to Hildegard to keep her position in the Relationship Division . And, of course, every good story has to have a villain.

Finding out how Iris and Riley solve them and how they achieve their happily ever after romance made this an interesting, sometimes funny book. There were almost too many issues to keep up with. I felt I needed a character list and a score card to keep up with all that was happening and where it was. I thought it would have been more interesting reading if the Iris and Riley relationship had been more developed and less of the Heavenly interferers and pets, or developed into a longer story.

Review: I want to start off first by saying I normally LOVE Regina Carlysle’s work. She invokes emotion into her characters that will leave you aching when the story is over and you have to say goodbye because you feel like you really know them. And in Jaguar Hunger there is some of this characterization. The problem is that you have great characters in a story that just, for me at least, didn’t work.

I found Violet’s reason for being in the house unbelievable and imprudent. Staying in the home of a man who is dangerous and trying to establish an elicit affair is foolish. I understood her fears that came from her impending shift and that she might not survive. But why again would her boss’s home, an unsavory character, be the location she’d choose to go?

Noah and Aaron are sexy, Alpha and refreshingly, not into each other. They just want Violet. She’ll complete jaguar triad bond. All elements of the sexual relationship between the three are hot and satisfying, but a bit redundant in execution.

The story has a beginning that sets up the plot, a middle full of steamy sex and an ending that satisfies the problem of her boss, her shift and addresses Noah and Aaron’s initial deception but doesn’t satisfy the romance reader in me. Maybe it was all too easy and predicable. The story is entertaining, just not at the level that I’ve come to love and appreciate from this author. This will in no way keep her from my must read list of authors.

As you grieve for the loss of one beautiful submissive woman, you are introduced to Faithe. Awakening – Part Two breathes new life into a broken man and an emotionally damaged woman. Review: LOL :) Please excuse me while I pull myself together :) Okay......I am ready :) This was a story that I did totally enjoy. The sex was HOT!! The characters were good and the plot held it's own.

I felt that Jes did a 180 pretty fast in the resolution but it didn't bother me too much. The part that really got me was the use of one word multiple times in the story. Not usually a word that would be considered sexy when you are trying to get freaky with a hot stud, but it had me laughing so hard in every spot that I was gasping for breath and snorting :) Then just for kicks I did a word search to see how many time the word was used through out.....8 times in the 94 page PDF. ROFL I still get the giggles when I think about it.

So, Ms Reese, even with the use of "the word" I really enjoyed the story and will be keeping my eyes open for your name in the future. ;)

Review: The story started out slow for me, but don’t give up. Within a few pages, the emotional connection is at a peak and the tension never lets up. Twyla is an emotionally and spiritually damaged woman. It will take all the love and magick within Nico and Dai to make her feel again. The tone of the story and the development of the characters is intensely built to a white-hot release. For the moments you spend reading, you are transported into the pages. The passion between Nico and Dai is a treat for any lover of m/m romance, but then Ms. Bast incorporates so much more. Twyla has experienced so much tragedy that she’s broken. I ached for her and just wanted her to latch on to these two delicious men and take a chance on love. I have to say the ending was quick and while I would have loved to see Twyla use more of her magick, that is just my gluttonous appetite for more of these three. The story isn’t lacking, it was just so good I didn’t want it to end.

Once the story got going and Meg sees Kyle for the first time it just flew. The author did a good job putting the feelings of this young "widow" on paper. She was a character that was easy to relate to and I felt for her through the entire story.

If this kind of fast paced ride is what we can expect from this new Cobblestone author then I say BRING IT ON!!!! Per her web site she has another work contracted with them and I can't wait to read it :)

Review: What little girl didn't love the story about Cinderella when she was young? Well, now as grown women we can have our own version....an adult version :)

Though I am not 100% sure if this was a historical, contemporary or what I still like it very much. Good characters, great bad guys (err girls), super sex and a great spin on the classic tale......with some extra thrown in there :)

I enjoyed all three parts in this book and have to say that the way the author gave them to us was cool. All angles were covered and I didn't feel like I was being left in the dark.

Though this shorty wasn't exactly what I expected, it wasn't a total wash. With some pretty good love scenes, a couple battling real problems, and a bit of paranormal thrown in the mix it made of an interesting quick read.

There were some really cute, witty remarks that made me laugh splashed in for good measure. I like a story that is quirky. I would like to see more from this author before I put her on my Must Read list :)

Review: What a wonderful historical! This was just what I needed :) A sweet story about love, letting go, finding your place in the world and loving again.

Ms Reeves has gripped me in the past with another of her other works and this is just another peg in the wall as far as I am concerned, for an author who really knows how to create a tale with characters and a plot that really tugs on the heart strings :)

As this story is the second in the Orphan Trail series, I can assure you I will be keeping my eyes peeled for the rest to come. I can't wait to see what Ms Reeves gives us next :)

Review: Let me just start by saying that if HARD CORE BDSM isn't your thing then this one is not for you! Please be sure to read the WARNING label for this story before you buy as it contains some questionable material for some audiences. If you are not familiar with hard core BDSM this is probably not one to start with. :)

Though I did not receive this label in the request for review, I felt it would be unfair to harshly review this book. Though this level of kink is not be my cup of tea,(and I'm a kinky girl) I have to say that the author, Ms Lee, did a bang up job with her ability to create a story with a full range of emotions, both sexual and emotional. She created characters that jumped off the page and in NO WAY was this story boring.

Sylvia obviously needed something she just wasn't getting in her "old life" and the Master was the one to give it to her. He saw it in her the first time they met and took it upon himself to give her the life she always wanted and craved.

Ms Lee, good job on creating such a vivid tale and opening my eyes to some new horizons :)

Review: Nice little shorty with a cute story plot. I have to say that when Diahann basically tells Sun that she can't get involved with him because as a business owner she has responsabilities, I lost a little respect for her. BUT.......I also understand her feelings becasue she is worried about loosing the shop, the jerk ex of hers, and all the other pressures that she has.

All in all I liked the tale. I felt the pressures, the pleasures, the heart ache and the glee. Definitly a shorty that is worth a look :)

Review: Reining in the Past wasn’t exactly what I expected from an Ellora’s Cave erotic romance. The story is good, the characters likeable. However, I found the physical relationship (the sex) between the two to be warm at best. I didn’t feel the fireworks, but did see the promise of more.

As for the story…
Past hurts motivate both Deacon and Ray. They have the typical conflict of one living openly and the other protecting his lifestyle. I enjoyed life on the ranch, thought Ms. Lynne painted a vivid picture of the area and gave a true feel to the rustic life of ranching. All together, I did enjoy the way Ms. Lynne pulled back the layers of the characters, their pasts and giving them want of a future together. This book is worth reading and you’ll enjoy the story. But with any erotic romance, the sexual journey is just as important and in this element, the story didn’t reach full potential.

This is book one in the Saddle Up and Ride series. I can only assume we are going to meet other interesting men from the Justice River Ranch.

Review: HOLY HOTNESS!!! What a great read!! I laughed, I squirmed and totally dug it!!
The only downfall to this one was when I got to the end I was sorry it was over. I wanted MORE!!! This is a story I can guarantee that I will be reading again and again and again. The characters had depth and real life problems that they were able to share, talk about and get over.
The idea of enemies turned lovers really grabbed me. I fell hard for this story and I am frothing at the mouth to get my hands on more from this author

Review: NICE!!!! Interesting plot, memorable characters and hot sex.

Ms Pillow has crafted a great read that takes you into the future to a place that is fascinating. What would it be like to live in a world where sickness can be cured so easily? The downside would be people like the Medical Supreme who use their knowledge to manipulate others.

This one really kept me pulled in from the word go. I just couldn't stop reading. No matter how many times hubby cleared his throat or the phone rang, I was in a rush to get back to the story. I love it when that happens :)

Review: Cute. If you like lots and lots of loving then definitely give this one a try. Since I have previously read one of the stories that was in this collection I went in knowing a little of what to expect from the story.

I liked the characters and found the plot interesting. There were a couple places when I felt things start to fizzle out but the author did a good job pulling me back in and keeping me turning the pages.

Ms Kingston, your ability to pen a tale that flows and keeps the pace was wonderful. Thank you for letting us peek into your tale. I hope to see more from you in the future.

Review: This one is for the space opera junkie in all of us. Fast-paced, action packed, cool gizmos, strange creatures and lots of hot sex.

The blurb perfectly sets the tone and plot for this story, and I loved it. I laughed, squirmed, and felt like I was aboard a galactic spaceport. It was craziness from the beginning. Kaia has the hots for her business partner. Well, just her luck, he’s under some strange love potion and rocking her world with some scorching hot sex.

The plot takes twists and turns and while there is an intense scramble to catch a thief, there is equally intense passion building between Kaia and Dex. The ending is unexpected and believable. Dang, this is just one of those books you want to pick up again because it was such a pleasure to read.

Review: Here is a full that when I finished I was totally glad I'd been the one to read it....even though there were some parts that I felt held no bearing on the story at all.

The flow was good, the characters nice, and the plot came full circle leaving no major holes. Parts made my tummy dip and swoop. I felt the emotions as I followed this journey. There were parts that when I was reading them just seemed to be put in for filled and I have to say I could have done without but over all I enjoyed the story and the authors ability to create a story that kept me.

Ms Andersen, good job. I can't wait to see what you have out next :)

Review: This is one of those stories that you just can't help but like. An English historical that just makes you smile and really remember why you enjoy reading.

The characters were memorable and the plot solid. I totally enjoyed every page and found the ending well worth the journey. It was one that I can see re-reading many times before /if I get tired of it.

Ms Andersen has done a great job in creating a wonderful tale that kept me interested and involved. I look forward to reading more from this author :)

What a nifty little mystery with some sexiness right smack dab in the middle! By page 30 I thought I had it all figured out. I was sure I knew who the bad guy was and I was just waiting for the shoe to drop. BOY HOWDY did I get thrown a curve ball!

The only thing I didn't dig was how the heroine went into the situation being fairly reserved and not very comfortable showing a lot of skin..... then studly photographer gets her a little hot and bothered and all nerves go out the window. She sheds her garments and rocks it with him right there in the studio.

Don't get me wrong, the sex was pretty hot, the use of the camera sexy and the fact that the issue of the digital pictures was addressed (since, lets face it, she just screwed a stranger and let him photograph the act).

I don't think I will let this sway me from reading more by this author, as overall I did enjoy the story for its erotic content.

I have always enjoyed a good secret crush story and this one was no exception. Ms Star did a good job laying in emotion and giving vivid description in this short tale. I would like to see more from her in the future :)

Review: Told in first person, with some pretty hot loving, this story wasn't bad for a quickie. Though the h/h never introduce themselves, we never find out their names, the engage in sex acts without any knowledge of each other, other than the fact they are attracted, the story its self flowed nicely.

I thought the relationship moved a little fast for these strangers, but sometimes the magic is in the fantasy, right? isn't that why we all love to read?

This author will be one that I keep my eyes open for. Her ability to pen a flowing, captivating tale was worth it and makes me want to see more from her :)

Review: Well.....what can I say. When this tale began I was riveted. It had an interesting story line and I really was pulled in. With super hot sex I was sure it would be a winner.

Then the hero gets replaced by another man as part of the plot. Suffice to say that even though I realize that the replacement man was not meant to be a "new" hero I had some major issues with the fact that he comes into the story and is as aggressive sexually as he was. In one scene he all but rapes the heroine and she admits that fact to herself but knows that she has to keep sleeping with him so the aliens who run the planet won't realize that she and the hero had feelings for each other even though he isn't supposed to be able to have feelings like that.

Not a bad read if you don't mind it being out of the norm in some spots. Not that being out of the box is a bad thing, I just had issues with some of the motivation toward the very end.

That being said I would still pick up something else by this author before making a final decision as to where she would fit in my read pile.

Review: Exotic, Erotic and sexy. Engaging characters really pulled this story together. Not only was the plot interesting, but the ride its self was fun.

Ava was a very relateable woman with needs and desires as was Tristan....no he wasn't a woman but you know what I mean :) They both want each other and go for it, consequences be damned. When it gets going, it really rolls and doesn't stop until the very last page.

NICE!!!! I won't be forgetting this authors name anytime soon :)

Review: With the first few words, you knew this was going to be a fun story. Tandy is a very likeable character from the beginning. The premise was fun. There is humor, adventure, and the promise of naughty BDSM sex. We meet Bryne and the story heats up…literally. And for three quarters of the story, I was in it, squirming in my chair, loving the chemistry between Tandy and Bryne and yes, the sex is scorching. (this it literal too because he is a Fire elemental.

But then the story fell apart. This strong heroine who needs lessons in submission, becomes a whiney date that lost appeal. They had two hours together, were together under the premise of “lessons” in BDSM. Yet, she says things that left me scratching my head.

From the story - “Why can’t you admit you never intend to see me again? That this was just a cheap, one-night stand?”

I don’t understand her indignation when they only had two hours together and it wasn’t supposed to have meaning. Now in fairness to the story, she was emotionally moved by the encounter and had given him her trust in an interesting wax scene that was totally hot. But it seemed out of her character to all the sudden become clingy after she had been built as this woman ready to have an adventure in BDSM and a submissive which is a total switch for her dominant ways.

I also struggled with the world building. There was setup, major story content, that was never followed through with or explained in the story. Bryne being a fire elemental is never explained well.

In the story Bryne says - There is much about being a fire elemental you don’t understand. It would take years to explain.”

Tandy presses for answers and his reply is vague. Apparently he doesn’t know much about his world either. It makes me wonder if the full world was considered before the story was written because there was very little substance.

The story is still enjoyable to read if you don’t dwell on the unanswered questions. Perhaps there will be subsequent books that will give us a better glimpse into this world. I feel like I’ve gotten only the rudimentary shell of the storyline’s potential and would like to see the idea developed.

Put out on display, covered in chocolate with three super sexy men ready to lick every drop off your body? Yes, please! Where do I sign up? :) Not only is the sex in this one burn up the pages hot and wild, but I thought the story its self was cute. I loved the resolution and the unveiling at the end and found myself ready for more.

Yet another in a line of great reads, I hope to see more from this author :)

A little history for them both, a little action to get them together, good interaction between Kyle and Meric and a small dose of hot man on man..err…shifter on shifter sex. Excellent story, Ms. Houston. I look forward to reading more of your work

I LOVED every thing about this story! Not one thing wrong with it other than it ended!!!! I didn't want it to. I wanted to keep reading but alas, I realize the story had to end sometime, I am just thrilled that Ms Mendoza allowed me to come along on the journey :)

Review: I hardly know what to brag about first. The deeply personal way you get to know the characters, the palpable tension of the plot, the intensity of the sex or the heart-wrenching ache you feel at the points in the story where your emotions are twisted and played with.

Mia is shy, hesitant and questions her sexual appeal in a way I think all women can relate with. She’s married to a totally hot man and worries a thinner more adventurous woman would suit him better. I loved how her insecurities weren’t really brought to light until Kevin pointed them out. While he thinks he’s helping her become sexy and secure with her full figure, he’s actually making her feel inadequate. And still, I loved Kevin and his good intentions. What started out as a bit of fun becomes complicated, emotional and threatens their relationship. There is hot sex including a ménage scene to make you squirm. Oh and expect to fall in love with Nick. He’s as scrumptious as Kevin.

The story is impossible to put down. Each turn of the page took me deeper into their lives. There were moments that I feared for Mia and times I was sure Kevin was going to fail her. But in the end, their love was the strong force and helped them to rediscover what they needed from each other.

This is no exception to the standard that Ms. Kane consistently delivers. Richly described locations, characters so vivid, I feel like I know them and would recognize them on the street. Okay and then I’d want to be carted off into one of their delicious encounters. After all I feel like I’ve already had sex because my panties are twisted and wet.

But to the story and the pleasure of reading Love in Exile. Sex, potential scandal, the snobbery of the wealthy and the coveting of others. Oh yeah, this had all the ingredients of a wonderful historical romance. And then you add in the special quality, in a way that only Ms. Kane can, and you have an intense sexual journey that will leave you breathless and exhilarated. But during those gut-wrenching moments you ache to the core for the nearly missed chance at a special type of love.

There were times I was uncomfortable with the intimacies between the three. Not because I don’t love reading stimulation sex between a man and a woman and I salivate over the connection between two men, but with these three, their coming together was emotionally draining. I was so afraid that the bond between Nat and Alecia would be damaged by their need for Palu. And yet I wanted Palu to find happiness. In the story there are so many reasons for Nat and Alecia to part from Palu and even more important reasons for the three of them to stand up for the love they need.

If you are an avid follower there are elements in this story that you will expect, but still a worth while steamy read and it doesn't detract from the "POW" power :). Never again will I look at my luggage the same way.
