Review: Have you ever read a story that grabbed you on the first page, bit into your ass and just wouldn't let go? But then, you really didn't want it to let go anyway :) Anyway, your reading this story that has terrific characters, a plot that is designed to drive you wild and leave you breathless, you're getting to the totally hot sex scene and then...........SCREEEEEEECH!!!!!!!! You've got to be kidding, right?

When I first read the tantilizing description of Nick, I was smitten. The more I read the hotter he got......UNTIL....Just as they are about to have sex, with a woman he's just met, he pulls a condom out of his jeans and she asks if he was a boy scout. His response was No, just hopeful. Talk about a man coming off like a total man-whore! The only thing I could think of after that was the fact that be brough a condom to a party with the sole intent to get laid.

I think the Heroine should have kicked his ass! BUT I still loved the story and would read it again :) I will just have to remember the next time I get ready to read it to skip that one line and all will be well and right with the world. Had it not been for those 5 little words in that sentance I would have scored a 9 for story. But it kinda killed him for me after that.

Review: I thought the blurb was fantastic for this story and couldn’t wait to boot up the computer and set my eyes on the pages of the PDF. The prologue was a bit long, but I was okay, stuck with it, acknowledging a book is better if you have the history.

Finally, we get to chapter one, to the story. No, wait, it’s not a prologue anymore, but why do I still feel like I’m getting a lot of “prologue”? Ms. Stone doesn’t drop us into the action, doesn’t even come close, she drops us ten miles from home, and after I finally trudge the long journey to get to the heart of the story, I wasn’t sure I cared anymore. The book is nearly half over before the hero and heroine are even in the same room (not what I expect from erotic romance), then bam! it’s time for sex. (good, curl your toes sex) But back to the story-- For the remainder of the pages, the connection is instant, the sex is hot and there is a bit of the plot weaved through the sexual chemistry between Memory and Marco. But after using half the book to set up the great evil, the climax fell short for me.

In the end, I’m not sure this is a series I’ll watch for. And while this story ends in a very satisfying way for Memory and Marco, I wasn’t left with any cliffhanger/expectation of what’s to come for the other Chosen. Also, the blurb gives you the impression the book is told in first person. It is not.

She might be curvaceous, but that is exactly the kind of woman he wants beneath him…and wrapped around him…and pressed up against the shower wall…and sprawled out on a bed….oh damn, did I tell you that Ms. Holt writes incredibly engaging sex that sizzles on the page.

The action and suspense is a non-stop thrill ride. Believable, deeply engaging characters, unpredictable twists and turns and a satisfying ending. For this romance reader, I was so glad to see the conclusion didn’t come flying out of left field. The story was believable from page one. Now I just need to find a Gabe for myself. He’s such a tough, Alpha male with an endearing soft side when it comes to Rachel. Ahh. He made me swoon. Kudos to Ms. Holt for delivering another solid story to take to bed.

Review: Ever laughed out loud at someone else’s misfortunes?

Poor Jill… I couldn’t help but laugh at paper eating printer and a frozen computer, pantyhose with no feet, then putting on a brand new pair while driving; all just to go to a Halloween Party!?! Then she gets there, and everyone else is dressed up like the typical vampire/maid/dominatrix. She is dressed as a fairy and of course, makes her feel like an outsider (I have been there, don’t that. VERY uncomfortable!)

But our innocently flirtatious flower lady has a love life that is in need of serious resuscitation! That’s where the superbly sexy shifters step in. Whew! Talk about getting all hot and bothered.

Great story idea that just pulled me in and kept me entranced. The characters were interesting and quirky. Although, I am inclined to think that ‘a couple of days’ is rather quick to be in love, but then again “love at first sight”… so I can’t knock the time frame.

Review: There were moments of sheer brilliance in this tale......and others that seemed to drag on for eternity. A great premise that just couldn't keep me pulled in and engaged. The characters were wonderful and interesting. The time frame...I think there were some inaccuracies in the historical aspect, but if you aren't a history major then it probably won't bother you.

The idea of a well loved and respected widow and an on the run troubadour/assassin really sounded like a winner. Unfortunately for me, there was just a bit to much drudgery to keep the pace fresh and moving.

The authors ability to create a tale with attention grabbing characters was wonderful, I just wish the story had grabbed me a little harder. To say I didn't enjoy it would be a lie....but I would like to read more by this author. The brilliance in which she paints a picture in your mind was amazing. The sensuality in her love scenes made my tummy flutter.

Ms Barnes, I will be keeping my eyes peeled for your name in the future :)

Review: Studly Smokin Shifters, Sherly! I loved the first, Maxwell's Fall, and have to say that the second is just as good! Werewolf, catman and a sexy woman who gets to do them both. What's not to like about that?


One of the really nifty things about this story is the weaving that mixes with the first. Who'd have thunk twins could swap things, and be better off? Super hot sex, just like in the first. Super sexy men ready to make your toes curl. And a woman caught between the two :) Yummy, what a place to be......literally!

Review: Crocodile Dundee meets Jewel of the Nile. Sexy, exciting, a mysterious bloke with a deliciously kinky side. Okay you can see I really like this story. Ms. Cooper-Posey does a wonderful job of setting the scene and dropping you into the story in the middle of the action. Mason is the quintessential sexy Aussie. There were moments when I totally loved Sherry—and a few times I wanted to smack her. lol The best part of the story comes in the second half. I found the beginning a bit predictable, but by the end of the book I was pleasantly surprised that I hadn’t guessed the outcome.

Now for the issues in this story. Repeat words were like mini speed bumps. Her clenching womb became a bit of a joke for me. While the sex is hot, there wasn’t much variation in how it was described. Yes, location and position changed, but the same words made the sex become redundant, so it wasn’t as titillating by the end.

Review: SWEET!!! This is the third in the Moon Chaser series and I have read all of them. and let me just say I will read every book in the series when they come out. SMOKING HOT!!!! Ms Kohler shows Lycans in an entirely different light. Her spin on the typical werewolf story will open your eyes to a new style of paranormal and leave you breathless and panting. :)

I hope to follow this author for many years to come and experience her Lycan world to the full extent that she allows us. Ms Kohler, thank you for the gift you have given us.

Review: I have only one complaint about this story—that it ended. Wow seems like a shallow word to describe the depth of feeling this amazing author was able to weave into so few pages. I wouldn’t say that Aleck and *Lillie were lustful towards one another, but the sexual chemistry was palpable. I can’t say that they had a long history and deeply ingrained emotions, because they didn’t. But yet, the author brilliantly evoked emotions that went beyond words on a page. A quickie made me cry! My tummy tightened, my heart pounded. Although the sex was sensual, erotic and very descriptive, you don’t want a vibrator to take off the edge of arousal that simmers in your core while you read. You want that man. You remember the one. You knew him for a moment and always wondered what could have been. If you were given another chance, would you take it? Aleck and Lillie grasp a moment, love without limits and worry about tomorrow…tomorrow. They have tonight, yet I will think about them for some time to come.

Yet overall, Ms. Madigan, brought the story together in the end.

Now don't get me wrong, shifters ROCK and the fact that the heroine is also a shifter makes it cool.......BUT cat copulation is definitely NOT titillating for me to read. and after the feline lovin she is left a bit battered "down there" and one of the feline lovers......*gag* sorry he cleans the affected area the way cats clean every part of their bodies. *lick* *lick* maybe wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't had to read about the injured naughty bits and how he cleansed them. EEEK!

With that being said, if I could blot that spot from my mind forever, I would definitely read the story again. That one spot was my only issue through all 69 pages and it was toward the very end.

Ms. Lee, I have read several of your titles and have to say that even though there may be an occasional icky spot for me, I fully intend to come back for more :)

Review: Holy Horny Toads!!! WOW! What a fantastic read. I loved it from beginning to end and every page in between. LOTS of smoking, steamy, sensual sex in a variety of locations. A totally captivating story about two people who once they meet, just can't keep their hands to themselves!

It's not your typical boom boom novel (though there was a lot of boom boom :0 ) Sam has real emotions and concerns about getting involved in a relationship with a sexy super star who has beautiful women falling over him all the time. And why wouldn't she? She thinks herself plain and scarred, nothing some stud would want for the long term.

To bad her hormones and her brain can't seem to agree, because every time she gets around him her body has a mind of it's own and just can't stop the sparks and passion that fly between them.

Review: The concept of the story was great. The main characters were enjoyable and well written. It was titillating and enjoyable. My only issue was that I found it a little hard to believe that if she knows it will take a man who can remember her to break the curse, why isn't she putting two and two together when super hot stud comes to her shop every day for two years and still knows who she is? Maybe she thinks he will be like the few others who did remember her. Or maybe she just doesn't want to get her hopes up by wishing that he's the one.




That being said, I have to admit that I still enjoyed the story and would recommend it to others Ms Paige did a great job and I look forward to reading more from her in the future.

So I think we are clear, it’s hot, but it’s so much more. It’s titillating and erotic yet delivers powerful emotions. The story is brilliant and you don’t just ache for Bliss and Cadan, but the special connection they have to two others. (You’ll need to read the book to discover the secrets within the pages. Ms. Leigh has delivered a unique breed of vampires and I want one for myself! ) Bliss and her responses are so intense. And if I hadn’t enjoyed the book enough, I can tell you that the wit, charm and humor are in just the right places and deliver the perfect spice to this story. It’s solid. Review: I have always enjoyed EC's Exotica line. Hot, spicy numbers designed to turn you on. This one is no exception to the titilation factor, but I had a couple of issues. After the third or fourth time of reading that something was "sooo fucking good" or "sooo worth the wait" it got tiresome and boring.

I hit one "ick factor" point in the story during a shower scene when Haley says she wants both men in her hoo-haw at the same time and they do it. Can you say Ouch?

Aside from those two factors, I loved the story. It was titilating and tasty, everything I have come to expect from this line. I fully intend to read more from this author and hope that the rest leave me as satisfied as this one.

Ms Columbus, you have done such a fabulous job creating the emotions for this story that I wanted to jump into the pages and wring the necks of a couple of the nasty people who were total jerks to Michelle.

Both main characters were so wonderful. Emotion ran rampant and more than once I experienced the emotion right along with them. When I read a story that can do that, I am at a loss for words. The beginning, middle and end left me a very satisfied reader. *Snaps* for a job well done and a toast for more to come from this talented author :)

Review: Quivering Kumquats!!!! One of the greatest things is when you find a sexy little short that leaves you panting from the very beginning. Though the actual sex didn't happen until the end of the story, it was fraught with so much awesome sexual tension I had to step away from the computer a couple of times to cool down before I had a heart attack!

A total turn on with characters that were very likable from the start. This one is a definite keeper that I will be recommending to more people than I currently know right now :)

Review: Eh.....I really liked the premise of the story, but I had some issues with it. There were some editing issues that I think should have been caught. The fist time he comes over for dinner before he gets there she changes clothes and puts on shoes. Then after he gets there she closes the fridge with her mysteriously bare foot......THE MYSTERY OF THE DISAPPEARING SHOE!

All in all I liked both of the main characters but I felt the story was weighed down with some scenes that I felt had no major part in the story and the book would have been fine without them. I had a bit of a hard time believing that the heroine would have gotten so bent out of shape during the black moment. But that's just me.

I felt that God came a little late into the story as His first mention wasn't until page 22 then not again until page 51 and then has 13 appearances. I just felt for an Inspy there could have been more about the Lord and his part in the relationship and the lives of the characters before the last 25 pages.

I certainly plan to read more by this author as I feel she has great promise.

And while this is in the Xanadu line, I felt the fantasy aspects of this story irrelevant. At the core, this book is a simple love story with both the hero and heroine willing to make sacrifices for love. So whether you like contemporary, family and relationship, or fantasy romance, this novella will appeal to your tastes

Review: Giggles by Gabby is fun and light-hearted. Quirky characters make this story pleasant to read. However, the comic book/superhero plot was lost somewhere not ever having a point. The way Ms. Chase passed the time was clever, however I felt she gave too much of the story to the ghosts. This is a Quickie and the sex was quick, because of the brevity it didn’t quite satisfy.
