Blurb:Never threaten a werewolf's mate. It just pisses him off.Mandy wants to prove her father's innocence and her friend Jackson has agreed to help. Only he's acting strange. In one day he's gone from "mild-mannered accountant" to "bad-boy sex god" and she can't keep her hands off him. Now every secret submissive fantasy she's ever had seems possible, even necessary. It's very distracting.Max came to Alaska to check on his twin.but Jackson's missing. When a cute little blonde mistakes him for his brother, he goes along with the charade. Mandy isn't Max's type. He likes bold and bitchy, not curvy and innocent. But he'll soon discover innocence hides some wicked tendencies. Now he's gotten himself into a real mess. He's sleeping with a woman who thinks he's his brother, his werewolf has developed a strange attraction for Jax's very best, very male friend and bad guys are after Mandy. This can't end well.

Review: Very feral, sexy and male. That is about the only way to sum up Max. Oh, and a Dom. Yummy, what better combination than a werewolf dom who knows exactly what he wants, even if it is a woman he normally wouldn't be attracted to and his brothers best friend. No doubt that the story was a good one and the sex........Holy Hard Cocks! I didn't know whether I was going to last long enough to read the first love scene. By the time it was over I was as spent as the lovers in the book! WOW! Talk about good writing

A total turn on with lots of great story in between. The ending could have been a little more final but hey, it works. And it left me wanting more, always a good sign.
*This story contains m/m, m/m/f, m/f/m and m/f....not to mention BDSM and anal.* The three of them stay pretty busy and it is smokin' to read.

Have fun with this one, but be sure to have some helping hands around when you are finished :)

Blurb: Newly vamped Sarah Dearly wants her normal life back, but fate is fighting against her. She tries to get a regular job and gets staked in the interview, only to be rescued by a masked vampire who calls himself the Red Devil. Then a wallflower-turned-witch curses her, making her a bloodthirsty, sun-allergic nightwalker--the worst vampire there is. As if all that weren't enough, she can't get married because her 600-year-old boyfriend, Thierry, is in a centuries-long marriage of convenience he can't escape.

As Sarah's nightwalker tendencies make her more dangerous, even to those she loves, she'll have to counteract that curse, unmask the increasingly intriguing Red Devil, and get a commitment from her man. But if that's what it takes to secure her happiness, Sarah is ready...even if it means embracing her inner vamp to do it.

Review: Sexy and humorous, but with bite. I have to say that this is the only title in the series that I’ve read. Stakes and Stilettos started dark and mysterious. Sarah, still learning to adapt to life as a vampire, comes across Thierry poised on the edge of a bridge. He’s contemplating suicide, but has to postpone his plunge to rescue the sexy vamp from a vampire hunter. Well, after that I was hooked.

This book had it all – vampires, hunters, witches, and a curse turning our heroine into an indiscriminate menace to friends—human and vampire. So you are probably wondering why I gave a low score for story. Well, it also didn’t have an ending. I love to read. I want to lust after the hero (and damn but Thierry is fantasy material. Dark, dangerous, intelligent and sexy as hell.) I also want to cheer for the heroine. At the end of the book, I want to know that not only was she well satisfied in bed, but also that she found love. If there is a villain in the story, I want him to be cunning and intelligent. Have well laid plans and feel frustration when the hero and heroine spoil his/her plans. And then, in the end, the good guys kick the bad guys ass.

This book had all the makings of a climatic end. I raced through the pages, devouring each delicious bite. The best pages were coming. I could feel the peak building; I’m close to the end so I know I’m almost there.

Screech! What the *&$%? I followed the yellow brick road. The witch is dead (literally). But how is the curse lifted? What happened to the bad guy? Are Thierry and Sarah farther along in their relationship then they were at the opening of the book?

How the *&$% should I know? The book just ended. No, it didn’t end. It’s a cliffhanger of herculean proportion. No resolution for the characters. No resolution of the plot. No resolution to the conflict. So if you don’t mind waiting for Ms. Rowen to finish writing the story, than I can recommend this book. As for me, I won’t wait for the next installment. Yes, the writing is flawless. The story moved along. I just wished that at the end, there would have been a point to the journey.

Blurb: Fashion model Eve Dupree is fed up with being labeled the pretty one while her sister's called a genius. Eve's got loads of brilliant ideas, not the least of which is the invention she's building in her garage. But when she turns to the nerd next door to help get it off the ground, she finds herself on dangerous ground.
Charlie Shepherd has discovered that there's more to Eve than meets the eye. But it's not just her body he likes -- it's those sexy brains of hers. Romance is a complication he doesn't need right now. The problem is, she has something he needs and he can't seem to resist her.
Keeping her creation under wraps is harder than Eve expected -- as is denying her attraction to Charlie. But when a saboteur starts sniffing around her project, she questions everyone around her, even her nerd in shining armor. Can opposites attract or will they ignite a fire they can't control?

Review: Holy Hot Nerds, Ladies!!!!!!!! What a hoot! I have to say that my love for Ms Thompson's nerds started several years ago when I picked up Nerd Gone Wild. It was the first one I read in the series and I loved it. Now I have read other "series" books and have most of the time been disappointed by the ones that come after, but not in this case! I laughed, my heart fluttered and I felt all warm and fuzzy at the end.

I would STRONGLY recomend this book to anyone who enjoys a good lite-hearted read with a hunky nerd as the number one stud muffin. Plan on seeing reviews for more from this series and I will keep you up to date on how they measure up

Blurb: While on vacation with some friends, Cassie finds herself drawn to a handsome stranger. Hoping she will finally have a shot at a normal life, she allows herself to care for Cole. When things get hot and heavy, Cassie's spectral best friend Matt materializes - literally. Cole is secretly a werewolf... will Cassie be able to handle the truth? Or will the fact that he turns furry turn her off...More importantly, will Cole be able to handle Cassie's psychic abilities? With ghosts popping up here and there, will they have a shot at a real romance?Cassie has a choice to make. Will she choose the hottest werewolf of all, or the ghost of her dreams?

Review: Not a bad story at all. There were times when I felt very torn between the two men in Cassie's life and I didn't really know who to root for. The climax was a little predictable as was most of the build up. Since this is only the first in what appears to be several stories about these folks, I have to say that I am looking forward to reading Cole's story next as I really liked him.

There were some editing issues that I found in the ARC. The editor was emailed and made aware of the issues.

All in All it was a cute read and the characters seemed to have good motivation most of the time. I still had some unanswered questions at the end, but as I said, this appears to be the first of several stories so I assume we will get the answers later :)

Blurb: Heiress Loretta Shaw is notorious for her loose morals and sexual needs. Trouble is, it's taken her one too many one-night stands to realize that no man can extinguish the sexual fire she feels toward her guardian, Cray Diamond.A long-ago curse made Cray immortal—a gargoyle, a guardian, who is impelled to protect a human chosen by the curse. He is imprisoned in stone during daylight hours but dusk returns him to flesh and bone to carry out his immortal duty. That Cray can shift between human and living gargoyle at night bothers Loretta not one bit. She's seen him naked many times and her desire for him—in any shape or form—knows no bounds. She's tired of his resistance. He's her gargoyle…and she wants him in her bed.

Review: Stone-Cold Lover is one melting-hot read. Loretta is tenacious and Cray is the perfect tortured soul for her to heal with her love. This novella has enough fast-paced action to keep you turning pages and plenty of unexpected twists and turns to keep the story from becoming typical.

Now for the story --
Loretta tempts Cray to break his vow to protect her but not to have sex with her. She’s been promiscuous, trying to find someone to fill the ache and need and she knows only Cray can. Damn him for his determined will and honorable intentions. He’d learned a valuable lesson and paid a high price with his curse.
At night he awakens from his stone form and glides through the night to return Loretta to the safely of her home where he stands as a guardian gargoyle. He usually finds her in bed with another man. Loretta has deep secrets and scars of her own. All of this was wonderfully written (actually brilliantly written. The author knows how to string words together in a sensual way. I was breathless) and when Cray finally succumbs to his desires for Loretta, the connection is magical. The writing is flawless and carries you away into this delicious fantasy. However, the story failed for me at the end. Loretta is a slut. She knows it. Cray knows it. Not the problem. Her growth from slut to woman in love with her destined mate is great. However, I think she’s the next candidate for a trip to the Maury show. I don’t want to spoil the story, and I don’t think it’s that big of a secret. I just didn’t like the conclusion. Cray must be trusting that her lovers always wore condoms. And even condoms aren’t a 100% effective against pregnancy. The timing of the pregnancy is questionable and I would have preferred not have that element as it distracted from the story for me.

Blurb: Joely has just moved back home and has no job prospects, no man prospects. And she has to be bridesmaid in her younger sister's wedding to Joely's old boyfriend! Alcohol seems the perfect distraction to see her through the reception. Maybe she can slip up to her hotel room after and have sex with one of the groomsmen. Comforting herself with a sweet but deadly bar concoction called Death by Sex, she thinks her toughest decision will be which man to sleep with.Tucker and Beck were her best friends during their college years, but she hasn't seen them since graduation. It isn't just the alcohol burning inside that entices her into a wild, carnal night with both men. Memories awaken her to buried emotions and the security Tuck and Beck bring. She loves them equally, and could never choose between them. The guys have a plan of their own, however, and are determined to see it through.

Review: Getting drunk has never been my idea of fun—I’ve changed my mind. Get me a drink and two hot studs to go along with it. Initially, I was turned off because Joely consumed a large quantity of alcohol in order to drop her inhibitions and go with Tucker and Beck for sex. In the time it took to go from the wedding reception to the hotel room (same building), she’d miraculously lost the slurred speech and fuzzy effects of being drunk. So when it actually comes time to strip and get wild, both she and her two hot men are cognizant of the choice they’re making. (Although, you have to overlook that alcohol does not burn out of ones system because you will it to.) I have happily overlooked that and enjoyed the story. Now since I can’t sample Tucker and Beck for myself, I have to sample Death by Sex. I found the recipe and am sharing it with you. So mix yourself a drink, pick up your copy of Death by Sex, get drunk and get horny! Because this book is everything you expect from an EC Quickie. Hot sex and more hot sex!

Jocelyn withdrew from her social life, and lost faith in herself. Beth, her best friend, convinced her to attend a surprise party. Unlike any surprise party she’d ever attended, Jocelyn’s senses were thrust into the world of BDSM. Will the pleasure and pain from this experience reawaken Jocelyn’s sexuality and desire to live in a world of depravity.

Review: Ouch, it feels so good! This story has all the ingredients for a titillating journey into the dark world of stranger encounters and BDSM. There were moments where I felt Jocelyn’s reservations. During the story I wanted to kicked Beth’s ass, but happily Ms. Kristensen brought the story full circle and I accepted the circumstances that had Beth misleading Jocelyn. On the downside, the story is slow to get started and in a story this short, that was disappointing. About the time it got started, it was over. I also wish Ms. Kristensen would have taken a little more time to bring in the sensual erotic tension that lovers of BDSM need to read in a story. The sex was hot, but rushed. While Ms. Kristensen deserves a spanking for leaving me wanting more…she does leave me wanting more.

Review: Are you looking for a short story to sink your teeth into? Well, this is a sweet treat with a deliciously sexy yet deadly bite. Ms. Daniels has given us a glimpse into a unique vampire world where once bitten the host has a craving for more. I found the premise of Chosen intriguing and would love to learn more about this wickedly sexy breed of vampires. Review: Ho-De-Doe! SMOKIN!!!!!!! Naughty sexy edibles and steamy sex? What more could a girl want? This tempting novella was just enough to really whett the appitite for more! Believable plot and great titilation followed by mind blowing sex make for a satisfying nooner for any one looking for some heat between the pages.

I always love a story that starts out as the forbidden and ends up in the forever....or at least the happy for now :) They are almost as good as friends turned lovers stories or the I Hate You, I Want You ones. Ms Starr has done a wonderful job and I have to say I can't wait to read more toe curling scenes from this author.

Abby Maitland just landed a dazzling exhibit of priceless Spanish treasure for the museum-and someone would kill for it. Whether she likes it or not, Zan Duncan has to protect her. But Abby's mesmerized by Zan's untamed strength and very sexual vibe. From the long dark hair, the thick, hard muscles, and the black leather jacket right on down to the honed fighting skills and the tattoos, Zan is a master of subtle seduction, giving her night after hot night of secret, endless pleasure. Then a lethal game of deception, greed and murder gets underway-a game more sinister than Abby and Zan ever imagined. When no one can be trusted and no place is safe, their passion may be the only thing that can save them...

Review: Feisty heroine, Alpha Male, scorching hot sex, what else do you need? Oh how about murder, mayhem and one psycho badass villain and his minions. I loved this story and couldn't put it down. Yes, there were some creepy moments. Zan at times is a real asshole and times when Abby was reckless to the point of coming off stupid, but when you stir those irritating qualities with hot sex, non-stop action and surprising twists and turns you get an exciting story. The point to make in this review is to say Ms. McKenna took two equally flawed characters, brought them to life, and made me care about them.

Abby has had enough of bad boys! She wants conservative, successful and boring. Enter one wild, dangerous locksmith and Abby’s Hot Nights are going to get a lot hotter. Boring? This book—Never!

Still, Emily has somehow avoided getting tangled up with the three men who share too many delicious similarities. They should--they're cousins.
Making a pact to stay away from the gentle and beautiful woman living all alone, the outlaws form a friendship with Emily and it proves important soon enough. With a crooked town and a bought marshal, Emily never sees the trouble that comes looking for her. She never expects the kind of danger she'll be forced to face alone.
But she's not alone.
With a torn dress, swollen face, and men just positioned to take advantage of her, Clay, Levi and Luke make it to her place in time to save her, but it isn't enough. Soon, they want to make it their full-time duty to love and protect her. However, she's not ready to love three men who are wanted by every lawman in the west, until she realizes the true pleasure found when a woman is wanted by three handsome outlaws...and the marshal who can save them all.

Review: *Sigh* OK so you have a young woman living alone in the old west and three outlaw cousins who are all smitten with her. I am not sure what I found more disturbing about this story. It wasn't so much the fact that this young, unmarried woman living alone was almost gang raped by the local Marshall, but it was what happened just after. As terrifying as that would have been, I cannot believe that this woman would then just mere hours later would want to hop willingly into bed with three men. And she is a virgin!

Maybe it was the fact that after such an event, when one of the cousins turns her down, she goes into town and asks a hooker how to turn a man on. Many it was the fact that this western had a virgin boning three outlaws at the same time. It could have been the fact that when another cop comes to talk to the outlaw cousins, she basically offers to have sex with him and one of the cousins at the same time if he will leave them alone. Of course it could have been the fact that she decided that the three cousins weren't enough and she wants the new law man to get in on the action on a regular basis too.

Or maybe it was the four guys on one girl action that happened such a short time after an attempted gang rape! I am sorry, I just don't think that ANY woman would be interested in four guys at once after almost having it force on her just a few days before, or even three guys at once just hours after.

Aside from the totally not believable story, the sex was hot! As long as you don't have an issue with a woman who appears to make sexual decisions rashly, then by all means take a peek. :)

Blurb: Something is causing people to freeze to death in Florida during ninety-degree weather. Ancient Indian lore holds the answer to these mysterious medical aberrations. A newly constructed Florida male prison sits on ancient hallowed grounds called Forbidden Hill. Soon after the prison opens, two male inmates freeze to death without exposure to frigid temperatures. John Randall, a widowed prison doctor, meets Lena Windmaker, a single, off-duty sheriff detective at a local library. Their initial plutonic relationship soon kindles into a more amorous one. They hide a personal secret that could bring them together or destroy them. They uncover articles in local, post-Civil war newspapers describing residence succumbing to Frozen Death. John and Lena race to discover a cause before it chooses other victims

Review: Well, I must say it was a very good story. The entire mystery was very interesting and the final crack in the case was surprising to say the least. Botht he main characters were very likeable and the story was able to hold my interest well.

My only draw back was a few editing issues that have been reported to the publisher. I have no doubts they were taken care of, but as 50% of our score does reflect presentation, I had to mention them. Nothing to big, just a few snaffoo's. :)

Aside from that, I have to say the story was enjoyable. Check it out if you like a good mystery with a bit of a twist.
